We recently dined at this restaurant and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. This charming restaurant is nestled alongside a beautiful river, creating a serene and picturesque backdrop for a great meal. The food was not just good; it was simply very delicious. We had the burger with buffalo meat, the meal called “Tierra e Mar”, Nachos and some beer. The service was also commendable. The staff was attentive and efficient, ensuring that our dining experience was pleasant from start to finish. They also have a pet-friendly policy, which I really appreciate very much! Families with children will also appreciate the special playing area for kids, which keeps the little ones entertained while parents enjoy their meal. In summary, Southern Nebraska is a wonderful dining spot with a beautiful riverside location. It offers delicious food, good service, and a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who would love to spend a good time in a good place. I highly recommend it for a satisfying meal in a charming setting 😊

I love this place, we always come back happily. We enjoy the nice people working there, the quality of the food, and the place is great and cosy in winter like in summer. When I am too lazy to go, we can also pick up food, they make it with a lot of love. We always feel good treated, and we bring all our family and visitors there ❤️

This is my favorite place to go for burgers. The service is really good and fast, even if the restaurant is full. And I can’t stress how good the food is, I went a few times now and it was never disappointing. And even if you’re not a burger fan, they have delicious steaks as well.

If in Hennef and considering a good piece of meat, this place would be a preferrential choice. It is a little outside, but nice to sit inside with very friendly staff. Quality in average is decent. It is not the cheapest and not all items on the menu read American style. A little bit more consistency in the menu, Gambas being Gambas, and a choice of music that actually fits the topic of "Nebraska" would have resulted in a 5*.

I went with high expectations based on the reviews and the menu, and when the nachos arrived, I was expecting good things for the main course. The nachos are excellent, using real cheese, beef, and the flavors were spot on. Unfortunately, the burgers were just like anything you could find at any other restaurant without even leaving your home. Overly processed, dry, and lacking flavor. I'll return for the grilled and Mexican items because I know Southern Nebraska has great flavors, but I just can't imagine why they wouldn't use fresh beef and make their own burgers to order.

This place has a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff is really friendly and always willing to help you out. The fireplace is a very nice touch especially in winter. The food was really well made and they serving was good taken cared of. Overall a beautiful experience!
