Not going to lie, when I first pulled up to this place I was skeptical about how the food was going to be. This place is the definition of a hole-in-the-wall. I'm a big Philly Cheese Steak fan and came specifically for that and nothing else. We got one Philly with the cheese sauce and one Philly with smoked mozzarella. Both were surprisingly delicious. Meat was tender and seasoned beautifully. The cheese wasn't over powering where you can't taste and enjoy the meat, and the bun just brought everything together. The main issue I've seen with people making Philly cheese steaks is the cheese is over powering where you can't even taste the meat, that's not the case at this restaurant. This is by far the best halal Philly I've ever had. I've tried Philly sandwiches in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, Dallas, Houston and even the famous Saad's in Philadelphia and I feel this place beats all of them. The owner Zohaib is a very passionate guy and even showed us his whole kitchen and is cutting and grinding his own meat, no processed stuff (except the fries). I'm already itching to go again. Don't let the negative reviews deter you from going, I went 12/28/2019 and I was content. My only fear of writing this review is over-hyping this restaurant. Only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because of the ambiance. The store sign I think needs to be updated and the inside is in the process of being updated. It's a small space inside and 4-5 friends can probably sit and eat, but it's more of a take it to-go restaurant. As long as Papa Philly stays consistent with the quality I experienced, I am sure they have a long successful road ahead of them. I'm definitely looking forward to go back in the next couple of days!

Best HALAL philly cheesesteaks in Chicagoland area! Always grab the steak phillies cuz the quality is always consistent. Brother Nazim gives great service and works hard to deliver delicious food.

Amazing burgers and wings. I think this place has lowest price for burgers. Very quick service and burgers and phill steak sandwich was delicious.

I've been visiting this place for almost 1½ year now and I've never been disappointed. Their food hits different every time. They got the best Philly's in the town(no cap). Great customer service, pocket friendly and delicious food. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

The one man army the person handling is very good and makes delicious burgers i guess the name is Mr Nazim handles everything so good been going here for sometime love food & everything.

I placed a large order of wings over the phone for pickup. The cook said it would take 20 minutes. Once I arrived my order was not ready and I had to wait an additional 30 minutes. The wings that I received were of poor quality. They were large hormone wings and they weren't cooked long enough. Consequently, the wings made myself and family sick. This was one of my go to places for wings and until now the wings have been excellent. I am extremely disappointed with the wings this time and for that reason I will not be eating there anymore.

Great place with very nice people. I ordered just a fish sandwich, they were busy so the food came a little late, once I start eating one of guys came and gave me free frys. I thanked him and continue eating, he come back with a soda. He didn't have to do it but he did it anyway. This my first time, but I feel great respect for the people working there.

When this restaurant opened the owner was pleasant to deal with. That has gone down the drain. Customer service SUCKS and the atmosphere looks like a typical slum. Also, the location of this restaurant is in a predominantly black area in Evanston and reviews don't accurately reflect the demographics of the area. Food for thought. Have some respect for the Evanston community for patronizing your establishment and give a genuine response. Not an AI generate one. I won't hold my breath on any customer service changes.

I particularly do not like spicy cheese but that is just my opinion when I ate the gyro fries. The second item I ordered was a chicken philly which was good but not amazing. Also their menu is pretty small so dont think they have something for everyone's taste

Delicious! Except the coleslaw. I had the 2,2,2 combo - 2 fried perch, 2 whole wings, and 2 jumbo shrimp. They were delicious and fried and seasoned to perfection. Also came with a ton of fries. The coleslaw I couldn't eat. But it was a bargain for everything else regardless! I'll go back!

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering here. I placed an online order and was told it would be ready at this time. When I arrived at the time that was given, I had to wait another 20 minutes. It was a one man show there. I ordered a steak quesadilla, a swiss mushroom burger, a regular burger, a hot dog & fries, two philly cheesesteak, chicken thenders and cheese fries. This was an $80 order, and the only items that were good were the burgers and hot dogs. The Swiss mushroom burger did not have any cheese because they were out, and I had to call and ask. The 10 piece chicken tenders were horrible. There was so much black pepper in the breading that we couldn't even eat it. The Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches barely had any meat on them, and that tasted like black pepper. The steak quesadilla had a strange taste to it as well. I called to complain because the food wasn't edible. I was told to come back, and I would be made a better Philly sandwich. When I arrived, I received a refund for both Philly sandwiches, and I had to argue with him for a refund on my $17 chicken tenders that no one could eat. I will never return to this place again. A note to the owner- chicken tenders should have a basic taste to it. If you're going to serve food with extra spices or your own spin on it, then state that on your menus. If you can't, then hire a cook that knows how to prepare these items properly.

I found this Place Up in Evanston, I'm Not Much of a Burger fan, but this was one of the Best Hamburger I've Tasted in awhile!!! The Burger was purchased Separate from the fries as that is a New Thing Now in Days!!! I Order an Angus Beef Hamburger with Mushrooms, I always check my food 1st. My burger had about 2 1/2 pieces of Mushrooms on it , I brought it to the Manager and he Argued with Me Citing that there was Mushrooms under the Cheese. I went back to my Seat lifted it Up, (the Cheese that is) No Mushrooms!!! How hard would it be to add a tablespoon of Mushrooms to a $10.00 Sandwich? Learn to Make Repeat Customers, ...Not Deleted Customers!!! 🤔

Went here about two years ago. Still think of their wings. Figured I should make a review considering how much I think about them. Great food. Great service!

On june 7th I ordered lunch for me and my coworkers thinking that the food would be good. We were delivered raw and undercooked food. When we called to complain about the raw food, the manager refused to refund the money. The manager became very rude and disrespectful. I will never order from this restaurant again. It's wrong that I have to pay for raw and undercooked food and be disrespected.

Pretty delicious food and great customer service. Offered free drinks and was generous with it. Only recommendation is a restroom to atleast wash hands and a little bigger sitting area with bigger tables. But still best for to-go orders.

We ordered here a couple times and I think they are getting better lately. Fast and yummy, we enjoyed it so much. I’d recommend!

We eat with family in this place after looking at high reviews. It's better to take out as there is not enough sitting for dine-in. Their Philli cheese steak and chicken tender were tasty, but I have doubts about either oil used or hygine conditions as got a bit upset throat afterwards. We paid around 35$, portion size is just okay not a lot.

First time in FATZEE's and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders and Philly cheese Steak is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service I received was so amazing and I will definitely be back again.

Delicious food. Fries salted and fried perfectly. Pizza puff was not completely saturated in grease like other restaurants, it was a perfect pizza puff. Food is delicious! Service is friendly. First time here and was told they will be having tacos soon! They already have a hefty menu. Place was spotless just too cozy for me. Definitely coming back to try more of the menu.

$$ I got the chicken tenders . But they looked more like chicken fingers I mean like their claws they were so skinny. And floppy under cooked French fries. But really really good fried Okra !! It's A 420. If you really like fried okra go for it !!

Been coming here for years and food always been good. Recently it had gone down. I’m Pretty sure it’s due to rising cost of food…probably vendors change cause i noticed a difference in the food and items the last few times i came in. Less quality of food and no flavor. I would prefer the same food and prices to go up.That did it for Me and my family. We will stick to Ali’s on Howard and Ridge. Menu changed but you still have this menu up with old prices on the window and on the wall and wonder why people are confused with the prices and everything else now!

Amazing food and super friendly staff. This has been my go to place for a couple of months now. Their Philly steak sandwiches taste great. Their serving time is very quick. You'll be in and out the place in no time. Overall, you guys should definitely give Fatzee's a try.

Came here cause they said the catfish was good but they didn't have any. Onion rings was burnt. Ask for no onions on my Philly which had onions an was way too small for $9. My friend order was also messed up. The cashier acted like she had an attitude cause she can't hear. We waited another 15 minutes for the reorder only to get cold fries. I will NEVER come back here again!!!!

When I say this is some of the best fried chicken wings i’ve ever had IM NOT LYING. Me and my boyfriend would drive from the city almost every weekend and have this place we were that obsessed. the owner is the nicest guy ever always the best customer service and making sure we always have what we need. I moved away and I came back to visit and this is the first place i wanted to stop. If i could give them more than 5 stars i would. One of the best places i’ve ever eaten!! such good quality food.
