Long wait time for first appointment of the day (45 min). Panoramic X-rays done. Dentist did not go over X-rays, did not see X-rays. Just said everything looks fine when questioned. After X-rays done dental assistant placed me in chair and stated that she was now going to polish my teeth. Before cleaning I asked? The doctor will clean your teeth we can wait until after if you like she says. Doctor comes in and cleans my teeth with high powered water. No goggles or safety glasses provided. Doctor stated see you in 6 months everything looks fine. No checking gums or teeth with tools. Stated there was just some staining on back of bottom teeth. Got home and staining still there!!!

Went in to have loose and infected teeth removed. Made an appointment just for this reason. But, they were understaffed as it was the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Waiting room was packed. Around 1:45 pm people were being told to sign a reschedule sheet as they were experiencing staffing shortage. Then, conveniently they had a problem with their computer system and couldn't see any patients at all. After waiting almost 2 hours, I never did get my problem taken care of and still must deal with them until after the new year. The big kicker of it all? They were able to use the so called failing system to reschedule appointments and print out papers. Truth be told there was no system problem, the staff just wanted to leave so they could get to their holiday festivities.

I was actually very excited to have this appointment. I've been having trouble finding a dentist that takes my insurance so when I got this appointment I was so happy but then when I got to the office I did not get taken back till 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment, yes I'm aware they are a walk in clinic but if you're getting so many walk ins that you can't get to the scheduled appointments somthings wrong, the man who called me back and did my xrays was very nice. He made conversation and was just very pleasant. When the actual doctor came in he was very cold and you could tell was in a rush. I did ask for a cleaning after my exam but all I got was a vicious flossing. He stabbed my gums over and over with the pic while spraying water everywhere. Blood was going down my chin and even on my cheek. He didn't even clean my teeth the flossing was it. He had me clean myself up then commented how my gums are inflamed and how I should take advantage of my insurance. I understand giving advice but making rude comments just isn't necessary. I scheduled a follow up to have teeth removed bit with how he handled that "cleaning" I don't really trust to get teeth cut out by him.

Went in to get an infected tooth removed and waited to two hours for nothing. They came in twice the first hour and explained nothing that was happening, acted like my concerns and anxiety were nothing and treated me like a child. Numbed me the beginning of the second hour and left me there for 45 mins after I was shaken up from getting no warning from being injected with a large needle in my gum. The dentist wasted my time and their time because at the end the said my tooth would be too complex to extract and they wouldn’t treat any pain afterwards even if they did the extraction. At the end he acted like it was my fault for being anxious even though I was left there for two hours with very little communication as to what was going to happen. I understand being short staffed, but every patients time and experience is valuable too. I was made to feel like I wasn’t anyone’s priority for two hours and that my concerns were not important. In the end, I got a referral for an oral surgeon, probably something I should’ve gotten in the first place from them.

I had a great experience at Familia Dentist office. The front office staff was absolutely phenomenal. The office manager was amazing too. The dental assistant did a great job in prepping me and calming my anxieties as I had not had a good experience with my last tooth extraction. My dentist did an absolutely fantastic job in numbing my gums so I did not feel any pain. He also helped me with the financial aspect of having the dental work done. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely not go any where else for dental services in the future!! Thanks again ~

I need some serious dental work done, So they started out with a root canal that needed to be done by a specialist so the dentist referred me to a endodontist. I traveled 3 hours to have the procedure done due to insurance. I came back with a follow up appointment and the dentist here at this office continued with a permanent crown after the root canal. I couldn't have asked for a better care. Next procedure is a bridge for my lower back teeth. I know that if it was not for being treated so kindly by all the staff, I would not be continuing with a dental work that I need done. All of the employees at the Evansville location are wonderful. I take my 5-year-old with me at every appointment. They are kind and caring toward her also. I am usually very nervous every time I see a dentist but I am not when I go there. They make you very comfortable. I have referred several family members and friends. I give them a five star X 10

Confirmed an appointment for 3:00 a week ago, only to get another appointment confirmation for 330 around 2 days before the appointment, which I also okayed. (I'm a SAHM so not a big deal but I can’t imagine what it would have been like for anyone else) We got there only to be told our appointment was for 4pm. Even then we didn’t get back into a room until almost 430. They rushed thru my 4yos appointment and had they been not reminded about buffing his teeth it wouldn’t have happened. Very Subpar service. Staff is still amazing tho.

Familial Dental is awesome! Dr Satish and his assistant are so kind and very thorough in their care. I just had a root canal done and never felt that first pain! Truthfully, the only discomfort I felt was from the initial numbing injections. They are very thorough and were very concerned about how I was doing through the process. My past dentist retired, I was in dire need and so grateful for Familia Dental. I would definitely recommend them to anyone for any dental needs!
