BRU in a Greyhound station is fantastic nostalgia, perfectly executed. We wanted burgers, cod, and gluten-free: everything was so carefully prepared and delicious! Service was friendly and attentive. Cocktails were perfect!

The restaurant was very clean & well maintained, the staff was friendly, the service was great as well. The menu was well labeled & detailed. The seating was comfortable, they offer optional booth, table, or bar, with second floor seating. They have a decent selection of draft and tap beers along with a selection of different spirits.

1st time eating here for all 3 of us. Waitress was very friendly and quick. We ordered the Bru Board as an appetizer. It was very good and enjoyed by all. I ordered the Mexicali Burger with fries, Rhett ordered the Honey Chipolte BBQ Burger with Chili Cheese fries, and Justin ordered the Double Bacon Burger. All the burgers were huge, we weren't quite sure how to fit them into our mouths! My burger was good, a little undercooked for my liking. I ordered it medium and it came with some pink showing throughout the burger. Some of the fries were too crispy to eat but not too many. The kids loved their burgers and fries. Everything was good with their meals. We got the Bread Pudding as a dessert. It was really yummy and a great addition to the meal.

I want to start this off by saying there’s no way I should’ve ordered this much food but I don’t regret it not one bit! The staff was awesome and the service was amazing. I sat at the bar and the bartender was outstanding when it came to service. The food was next level and just what I needed after spending the day in Evansville walking on the trails and enjoying the view of the Ohio River! Definitely my type of place and I highly recommend you check it out! Great vibe and beautiful on the inside! The place is just very welcoming! I will be going back and taking my family soon and very soon!

While in Evansville for business, I was seeking a unique and fun place for dinner. Bru Burger Bar immediately grabbed my attention, an old converted bus station serving juicy burgers. I tried the mouthwatering, Mexicali BBQ burger minus guacamole, and I upgraded my fries to chili cheese fries. Each bite had the crispy crunch of the fried onions, juicy grilled burger, and white queso oozing out. The Jalapeños were just the right amount of spice to enjoy the burger with a cold drink. And, if you still have room, try the Fudge Brownie...it was soft and warm with every bite. My server, Morgan, was very quick, kind, and made the experience a wonderful one. I will return next time I'm in Evansville.

This is a great restaurant located in a historic old Greyhound depot building. It is very easy to find using Google Maps and is in the city center of Evansville, Indiana. They have some really awesome salads and appetizers. Most of their entrees are great too. The service here is great and all of the staff are very friendly. Parking is mostly on city streets but is free.

We have been there during lunch time and they had a nice selection in their manual between salads, burgers and sandwiches. We had a nice salad and burger with fries. I liked it very much that they are filling up your drink when it’s empty. I will definitely come back again when I am in Evansville.

As I walked into the scenic old Greyhound bus station, I could sense an eye for “quality” and “craftsmanship” within the now converted Bru Burger. Food was fast, and the quality of food prepared was that of a higher caliber restaurant peaking towards a 5 star rating! If you have not experienced the “impossible burger” OMG!!! Hats off to the wonderful chef who prepared the best burger, non- burger I have ever experienced!

Came across this place looking for something unique for lunch. This was the old Greyhound bus depot that was converted into this quaint restaurant. There were a list of burger choices to please anyone’s taste buds. We had several different appetizers that were all great. I had the blue cheese burger that was cooked to perfection and delicious. This is a very neat experience that with a combination of great food, excellent services and the ambiance and history of the location you could not do any better than stopping here and enjoying it for yourself.

Really cool place located inside of an old Greyhound bus depot. Trendy with an interesting combination of burger toppings. Vegan options are available. A bit pricey but good food.

This place is great! Great atmosphere, and they have a ton of options. I’ve had the Sweet Swiss Bison Burger and the Melt Your face burger. The sauce on the bison burger was amaaazing. They also have a great craft beer selection on draft. I highly recommend!

BEST service around!!!! Their burgers and fries are SO good. My kids tend to be picky but LOVED it here! Also, best dessert in Evansville Indiana! Brownie with strawberry puree, fudge sauce, ice cream, almonds and whipped cream!

Absolutely amazing! The environment was very inviting and up to date industrial feel. The food was excellent! My favorite part was the house made ketchup! It was so good. The triple dip was neat and different and yummy! Definitely a 10 out of 10... Don't forget the house made bread pudding with home made whip cream!!!!!

Some of the best burgers I've had in the area. Bru burger with the taleggio was funky, juicy, and delicious. But the patty melt was everything I wanted in a smashed burger and more. Well seasoned, killer sauce, and the onions were cooked perfectly. Onion rings were also excellent and crispy. Fries were just okay but the house ketchup is killer with them. Staff was awesome, friendly, and attentive. Whole place was just a bit on the noisy side.

Some great selections of burgers. With our group, they had to handle meat eaters, vegetarians, gluten free patrons and other dietary restrictions. They handled it all with no problem. The burgers were good, but not the best I've had, so I can't really give five stars. I would give 4.5 stars if that was an option.

Unexpected oasis. Located in historic greyhound bus station. Walk in to unique atmosphere. Excellent service, fantastic food. Highly recommend you make it a point to include when visiting Evansville

Simply awesome! My first time here. Mushroom Swiss burger was incredible and really great fries and onion rings. Very friendly and great staff and service. I totally love how they kept so much of the old Greyhound bus station that this building used to be and blended that in with the remodeling into their restaurant. It provided a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere while preserving the building's past history. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience all the way around. We will definitely be coming back often!

Delicious food!! The atmosphere has a great vibe to it and the staff was very friendly. They have a huge, covered, outdoor space. Great for the whole family. I got the burger that has everything habanero on it and as expected, she was hot!! Very good, highly recommend.

Pleasant environment. Is located in the old Greyhound building. They have upstairs dining also. I ordered the patty melt (about $11) My burger looked like it was slapped together and was cold. The server took it back and took the cost off my bill. The replacement burger was steamy hot and delicious. The Bourbon Burger (about $13) Had mild flavors and was a good burger. The fries were A+ The 1st pic. Is the slapped together burger and the 2nd is the replacement patty melt. The last pic. Is the Bourbon burger.

1st time visiting. Ordered a vegetarian sandwich but it was cooked on the same grill as the regular burgers. Other sandwich was good but very messy do to so much sauce. The homemade ketchup was delicious as well as the onion rings and pretzel sticks. Beautiful place inside and beautiful patio for outside dining when weather permits. Waiter was EXCELLENT. Will return and try again...

Britt was our server and she was absolutely amazing. We had to wait a bit before being seated, but once we were sat, our food and drinks came out incredibly quick. Their house ketchup is honestly the BEST THING! Our server made things even better when she gave us a to go bread pudding for free! Britt was so sweet and very delightful. Thank you Bru Burger staff for a fantastic lunch 🍔 🫶🏼

Stunned! Third year in a row of top tier service (Christi) and food was an eleven... past 10!!! Staff and management can not be beaten. Pictured is the pattie melt served on sourdough. Smashed burgers wrre juicy and perfectly cooked. Onion rings were the best ever. Closed it out with bread pudding. Can NOT say enough about food quality and service and managers that were totally engaged. 3rd year we have visited over the holidays... this is a repeat performance. Thank you Bru Burger and Cunningham!

With 14 locations in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky, something must be going well for this small chain. We had to try it for the location in Evansville. The Food - 4 Stars: For the order, we had: 1) Onion Rings 2) Soft Pretzels 3) The Beginning Interestingly, the burger was not the best part. The soft pretzel and the onion rings were the winner of the day for me. Don't get me wrong, the burger was great, but I have had better more often than not. Atmosphere 5 Stars: This location is located in the historic downtown Greyhound station of Evansville. The signage out front and the small touches of history throughout the restaurant really bring the history to life. The Service - 3 Stars: Average service with our waitress was nice and prompt. The Price - 2 Stars: $$ - Total ~$110 before the tip. Overall, 4 stars and a little pricey, but definitely recommend.

This is a cool place. An old Greyhound bus terminal. Nicely done. The food was really good. We got the vegan burger, fries and onion rings. Everything was exceptional. The burger was better than most, for sure. Not sure what the secret is, as it was just an Impossible Burger. There was something special about it. The fries were really good. Not greasy, at all. The onion rings were huge and the portion was very generous. The fries and onion rings were sides, but still very plentiful. At first our server seemed short and annoyed at our questions. Later, she seemed pretty cool and her attitude improved throughout our dining experience. I definitely recommend stopping at this establishment on your next trip to Evansville.

Our server was shy, but still gave us a great experience. The place is absolutely gorgeous and the food was so delicious. Husband ordered the 'Melt Your Face' Burger with fries and I ordered the buttermilk Chicken tenders with a side of fruit that I requested be all strawberries and a chocolate shake. All the food was great!

Very cool building with great burgers and fries. I’m not a ketchup person but their house made is very good! Staff was very knowledgeable of local brews and made great recommendations on food.

Dinner with work group for team meetings. Big space and really good food (large portions). We had several appetizers to share but the Nashville hot tenders & chilli cheese fries were the top picks. All the dishes we had were good, the burgers are well prepared (medium rare) and with many different topping choices. I actually left my bag there by accident and when I retrieved it the next day everything was still there. Nice place to go for a chilled meal.

Ordered the double bacon smash burger. And when the waitress didn’t ask how I wanted it cooked, that’s what I thought I’d get, thin crispy patty’s. It came out with patty’s 3/4” thick and about as big around as a beer can, so there was about an inch of bread all the way around the burger. Had to use a knife and fork to eat it because it was so thick, which turned into a mess. On a good note cool looking place and my wife’s burger was was fine. I guess everyone’s definition of a smash burger is different.

Nice place to get a good burger in Evansville. Good prices nice atmosphere. Located in the old Greyhound station. The New York burger with pastrami was great! Bru fries are a nice appetizer. Onion rings are huge!

Our first time going on a whim. The burgers are insanely good! It's a little pricey but you are not getting just a regular burger, so it's worth it. Our waitress was very helpful and atmosphere was modern yet still had the old travel feel to it when it was a Greyhound. Great night!

Bru Burger redid their menu and it’s impressive now. All the burgers are stellar (highly recommend the Provincal) and the atmosphere inside is beautiful. I love how their bar is decorated, it’s elevated but not stuffy. Their Valencia salad was excellent, and they did a nice job with cocktails as well. The back patio is very pleasant.
