First
time
visit
on
a
Saturday
night.
We
had
reservations
for
two
but
didn't
need
them.
With
that,
the
building
is
absolutely
gorgeous!
When
someone
says
a
building
has
character,
this
is
what
they
mean.
I
don't
know
exactly
how
old
it
is
but
it
looks
to
be
a
100
year
old
Victorian
style
home.
Some
of
the
chandeliers
and
fixtures
are
beautiful.
Onto
the
food:
I
ordered
the
spaghetti
with
meat
sauce
(added
a
couple
of
Italian
sausages)
and
companion
had
the
spaghetti
with
marinara.
Our
method
of
trying
a
new
Italian
place
is
start
with
the
lowest
common
denominator
(spaghetti)
and
then
try
other
dishes
on
subsequent
visits.
Or,
as
my
companion
says,
"Let's
see
if
you
can
get
spaghetti
right
first."
In
short,
mine
was
good.
Companion
thought
the
marinara
sauce
could
have
used
some
more
flavor
and
much
preferred
my
meat
sauce.
The
spaghetti
was
cooked
al
dente
which
is
actually
rare
to
find...it
was
perfect.
The
sausages
were
spicy/hot
which
I
liked.
Bread
sticks
were
ok
but
could
be
better.
This
is
on
the
higher
end
price
wise.
For
example,
I
think
my
spaghetti
with
meat
sauce
was
$14
and
the
sausages
added
a
other
$10.
$24
is
a
bit
steep
and
the
portion
was
not
big
enough
for
2
meals,
so...
Would
we
go
again?
For
a
date
night
or
other
special
event
the
space
can't
be
beat.
And,
you
get
the
added
benefit
of
being
able
to
walk
about
afterwards
as
there
was
a
live
outdoor
concert
and
vendors
happening
across
the
street.
Food
wise,
I
unfortunately
think
there
are
better
and
more
cost
effective
options
for
the
limited
items
we
did
try.
Definitely
a
"try
it
yourself
and
see"
place.
