Our family loves Howell wetlands. I sometimes have a hard time with uneven terrain but the boardwalks are easy to traverse and there are benches on occasion to rest. There is a bit of a walk down a path before you get to the boardwalk but it's not terribly difficult. We've enjoyed seeing all the beautiful wildflowers and butterflies in addition to the turtles. One visit we got to observe an area where beavers had been at work 💜

It is so nice to have a place where you can see wildlife in the city. It's a shame that some people leave trash and vandalize. A few boards need replaced on one bridge. It is still a beautiful park. Also it is leashed dog friendly which is really great.

Trails well maintained, lots of wildlife to photograph. It is a wetland, so bug spray is a must *update - they are doing some great reclamation work on the prairie, so keep an eye out to watch that progress happen. *Another recent development, they have bathrooms open seasonally now! Makes for a much easier family outing

Beautiful and clean area to explore. I took my daughter, and we really enjoyed ourselves. There's paths for you to walk on to explore deeper.

What a great little walk. My 4 year old asked me to pull over and walk through it... it was much larger than I thought. Great views. And well groomed.

It's been 5yrs since I was here. All the rain has caused flooding and some walkways were overtopped. I plan on returning later in the summer.

Nice little trails. Didn't see too much wildlife the day we went, but did get to see a bird off in the water, a turtle and lots of dragonflies and butterflies.
