Standing on this bridge is like being in a time machine. So much history surrounding the structure and the historical activities around it... including the nearby construction of LST ships during World War II. There are many permanent plaques on display detailing the historical significance of events and locations near the bridge. Fantastic!

Very cool stop. If you haven't visited, you should. Didn't like the homeless people being there, but I get it.

This is a historical bridge that has been converted into a pedestrian/bicycle bridge where you are exactly where Pigeon Creek empties into the Ohio River. This is an excellent location for taking beautiful pictures of the Ohio River and boat traffic. On this red bridge visitors have started the tradition of placing "Love Locks" on it as a reminder of their romantic moment there.

A piece of history that I have lived. We stopped to see the river above flood stage and & to have a clear view of the approaching severe rain storm.

This hidden gem is perfect spot to click Fall pictures in Evansville Visited this place when I was out walking on the banks of Ohio river. The view from this place is just incredible. You can park your car next to the bridge but parking spot is easy to miss if you're visiting this for the first time. Go for a different view of Ohio river and downtown Evansville.

The Joan Marchand Bridge is a beautiful spot to rest during a Greenway ride or a perfect space for an evening yoga session. It is easy to enjoy the view of the river while you watch the boats pass by.
