Kids love this place especially today with their puddle jumpin boots. We clean bits of trash while were there to maintain the hard work many others have done with the park recently. Definitely will bring some chalk for the wall next time. Beautiful place to come hang out for a bit. Beware though, the twisty slide is somehow broken... sad. Other than. That cool playground A lot less litter thank you to all helping keep the park clean. Still love to bring the kiddos here. My daughter likes to scare by hanging over the side of the dock, though, so we mainly walk around lol

It would be nice if the Park and Recreation department actually cared about the parks period. Diamond Valley Park use to be a beautiful place to go for a walk or do some fishing. Now all you catch is shopping carts and logs. Grass and weeds need cut and the docks could use some touch up as well. We need more clean and safer parks around here so people actually have something to do. Call the mayor's office and complain. Just keep calling and pushing it down their throats like typical politicians do. Then maybe our city will be beautiful again.

I was hopeful for good fishing but was very disappointed in this park. There are no parking lots, so you have to park on the street. There was an empty booze bottle on a table and what appeared to be drug paraphernalia on the ground as well. There was also a terrible smell around the lake. Even my 13 year old daughter said she felt uncomfortable there. We will just stick with the Bluegrass FWA for our fishing trips.

Has potential to be really nice park, but... It is not maintained very well with lots of weed growth. Ducks and geese constantly harass you for food and leave a mess everywhere you want to walk. I will say I like to park here by the lake and eat my lunch in my car in peace.

Never crowded. It has a small playground for kids. Park benches to sit on. A paved path all the way around the lake/pond. Parking right in the street next to it. Nice place to stop to eat or take a break.

Cons* Big slide on their small playground is cracked! Playground equipment was dirty. Did not notice a public bathroom. Pros* Great place to feed ducks, walk, ride bike (kids), Small field for little kids to play in. Not very busy.

Needs to have the trees trimmed back and the brush at the lake side cut back

Meh..... its ok for a city pond, the playground could be better for the kids. There is a lot of growth around the lake making it difficult to fish

It's really tragic. Poor ducks fighting for food and eating blue algae. There's definitely people trying to return it to an enjoyable place.

The big slide is broken. The park has some nice trails to walk and that's about it. We spent most of our time walking around the pond rather than playing at the playground area.
