07-2022- this place keeps getting better. The staff is attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is lighter and the place is clean. Food is now served. I've tried the chicken wings and they were pretty good. Great drinks and great tasting treats. By talking to the staff, they have bands, karaoke on several nights but can't confirm which day of the week is which..I will definitely be back, the next time in town. 1st visit: 2019 I recommend this establishment : 2 pool tables, 4 electronic dart boards, outdoor patio with plenty of tables and chairs. Over head tv's, beer and liquor served. Noticed only one bathroom stall, can't confirm more. Will definately do a second visit to give this establishment a possible five star.

Got into the area late...and the Happy Amadillo was OPEN! Brittan is a friendly and fun bartender. B - YOU ROCK SISTER! If you like small local (dive) bars the Happy Amadillo is the spot! Nice patio...it's TX people so it can be HOT !

Quite the hidden gem. Decent mixed crowd on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of tv's both inside and on their patio to catch the games. It appears the owner has put a bit of money and time in the place to make it welcoming without having to over-charge for beers. Finally, how can you not like a local bar with a cigarette pack vending machine! If your in the area you should stop by, you might become a regular.

I love the atmosphere and the staff are super nice. I like that they give a lot of chips and salsa for the price. The pizza was just ok for me but I'll definitely return to try their other menu items. I highly recommend giving them a try for yourself.

I got a large cheese pizza to go last night it looked burnt but couldn't tell under the dem lights. Got home sure nuff it was burnt called them back asked for a remake and they told me the kitchen was closed how is it closed and I just ordered 5 minutes ago. Then asked for refund they told me come back tomorrow to talk to a manager... It was not suitable to eat so I had to trash the pizza. Don't eat here... beware of fake reviews this one is real...

I don’t know if it was a worker or customer but this bar seems pretty racist. They got petty and upset and requested over 28 songs after I put on a Mexican song when there was no wait list on the tune box before . Not an all friendly race environment.

Ahhh, the Dillo! My home away from home! I love this bar!! Great bartenders, but my favorite is Laiken!! Karaoke every Thursday with the amazing, Tonyoke Karaoke! He has every song! The kitchen stays open till at least 11 p.m. Amazing food! Great beer and shot prices!

Though the kitchen was closed due to upgrades, the bartender/waitress was a doll. Great atmospheric hole in the wall. Would like to go back for happy hour. 😊

Their bartender, Gretchen, was GREAT!!!! She knew what she was doing & kept things going pretty smooth even though the place was fairly busy. Definitely will go back...

If you're looking for a dive bar, this is it. Staff is nice and patrons can be a little roudy but tend to be nice overall. Ordered a pizza and it was just OK.

Stopped in for lunch and had pizza...which was delicious! Friendly atmosphere and staff.

My first time ordering from here today. I’m not very pleased. My pizza crust was hard and burnt. It’s like when you get a frozen pizza how the crust is really hard and gets dark before the center of the pizza is not done. The is could be a one time thing for them. I said I wouldn’t order again, but maybe I will to see if today was just a bad day. Everyone have one at some point.

After coming here for 9 months now, I've really come to love it. The hosts (Mike's Trivia Time and Tony's Karaoke) are great reasons to walk in the door and try things out. Laiken the Bartender is OUTSTANDING! She has created some wonderful drinks. I never know what to order and she's made new drinks that really fit my pallet!

Stacy greeted me with a smile and made me feel at home my 1st and 2nd time here. This place has a good at home feeling and a great atmosphere!

Shout out to Mike for always making Friday night trivia fun and interesting! (only time I come out) Also love the bartender Laiken. She stays on top of her game…never waiting on a beer! Good little dive bar with a nice outdoor covered patio area. Oh and the pizza is soooo good!

This has the be the best bar in The area. Rebecca, Lincoln and Brittany are definitely the coolest people to sit at the bar any day of the week with. Not to mention they are LGBT friendly! Anyone and everyone is welcome here. The armadillo will forever be my favorite place in the world.

I love this bar! I work down the street so we come in frequently for lunch. They have great lunch specials and the pizza is REALLY good. If it had a shuffleboard table I might come back at night.
