A-mazing! I went here with a large group of work friends for my birthday and everyone had an amazing time. We started off with Axe throwing which was really fun (probably would have been even better if i could score a single point) the instructor was so lovely and gave great advice and help to all of the staff. Then we played crazy golf, which also was a lot of fun, each hole was unique which meant the game was pretty even (everyone had one that they were equally bad and one they were great at) our final game was augmented reality darts, despite a couple kinks with the calibration and occasionally the darts wouldn't be picked up it was still really fun! Between each game we had half an hour gaps for food and drinks. The serving staff were all incredibly friendly and the drinks were stunning! We messed up our timings and the servers were kind enough to bring the food over to our darts lane where we could enjoy eating during our game. Overall 10/10 everyone had an amazing time, all of the staff were able to talk more and we've been buzzing since. I cannot reccomend enough!

Utterly axhilerating axperience throwing axes, and right in the centre of Exeter. Our group was hosted by Simon, a really nice guy with a beard that says "This man knows how to throw an Axe like a viking warrior". We weren't disappointed. He guaranteed everyone would score points, and with his 5-star guidance, we had points all round. Really cool venue, with lots of awesome activities, like axe throwing, crazy golf, augmented reality darts and refreshingly, for centres like this, decent air conditioned spaces, a bar, beer pong and more. If this place did monthly / annual membership, I could happily give up any aspirations of joining a gym and just get all my exercise throwing axes instead

Fun bar with lots of games and looks really good. We did pool, shuffle board, mini golf and axe throwing. Did enjoy my time here but marked down for a poor selection of drinks, staff shouting at each other and lots of waiting to get on the games but then rushed when you're on them. I'm going to try another Boom bar nearer to me and see if that's any different.

Two of us did the Axe throwing with Phoebe, she made it even more fun than we could have thought. Fully explained how everything worked and gave pointers throughout to help us get some points on the board! Glad we did the hour, before we knew it, half the time had passed ! Robin + Brogan

We took advantage of the date night deal and did 3 activities on Tuesday 13th September at 5pm. The whole process was really easy as the person who booked us in was really friendly and accommodated some special requests I made. When we got to the bar a little early it was no problem for the team who set us up with Kit for a great axe throwing session. She was really good fun and was full of helpful tips for us to get the most out of the experience. We had a really good time and fun with all of the staff on shift who we encountered as we played pool, golf and then added an extra session of ping pong. 100% would recommend the venue as the team were great, the atmosphere was cool and the actives were awesome!

We had a great night - we went for the Date Night offer on Tuesday nights. We did axe throwing with Em, who was very helpful and friendly, followed by Ping Pong and Craziest Golf. We all got a free cocktail in August as an introductory offer which was great… The whole evening was full of laughs. The only thing is, next time we’ll ask for axe throwing upstairs (bigger cages) and the ping pong kit had seen better days! The golf was really good and unique - the last hole took forever!

We did axe throwing and the crazy golf, it was great fun- Kit was a fun host, and got us really psyched up for the axe throwing! Really enjoyed the games we played, and had a fun night. Would definitely recommend as there’s a variety of games. Oh, and if you see the red button in the toilet, make sure you press it 🕺🎉

Wow what a great night!! Everyone was super friendly and helpful from the second you walk in. Such a great atmosphere and a lot of fun! Tried axe throwing for the first time- would highly recommend doing. Such a laugh and Harry was the best host!

Axe throwing and Prosecco pong was fun with the family. Lad on the front desk was good fun and a great help (Josh Dye, I think) sorry if I got that wrong but give him a raise. And our host for axe throwing I’ve forgotten her name! Was great. Thanks for having us!

Had another great night at Boom with my friends, we were delt with by Luke, Tabbs, Ryan and Harrison who is an absolute credit to the place. The staff couldn't of been nicer and made the experience so much more fun, very helpful and accommodating, we did darts, beer pong and golf tho done other games previously, all brilliant fun and couldn't recommend enough, food and drinks are great too! Wish we had a Boom closer to where we live!

This venue is like nothing I've seen before. It's like a nightclub, but is open in the day. It's also like a sports bar, as big screens are dotted around the walls. What's fascinating is that it's an indoor sports / activity centre where you can throw axes, play mini golf, pool, prosecco pong, table tennis and darts. I'm sure there is more, but these are what I saw. It was very loud and busy, which created a great atmosphere.

We came to Boom Battle Bar for a work Xmas do. We chose axe throwing as one of our activities which was overseen and run by Matt. Found the whole experience really fun and Matt was great at giving tips/support throughout the game and creating a real fun atmosphere! Real credit to the team! Thank you

We had a great evening of Axe Throwing with Ethan, he was so encouraging & helped each one of us individually to try & get an axe on the board. Luckily he did the scoring for us too, as some of our group were a lot better than others! It’s was a fun! All the staff were really helpful from checking in to the bar team.

Matt was great for teaching us how to throw axes. Super different activity and was so much fun. 100% would recommend, wish we got the hour instead of the 30 mins

👍👍 I was very impressed with the food and service at this venue, it was excellent. The restaurant was immaculate, spacious with a lovely ambience. We were served by Alisha who was most helpful, attentive, engaging and enthusiastic, taking time to explain the menu dishes as we'd not eaten caribbean food...
