We came across this place on the night of the Jubilee when walking back from the beacon lighting further down the river. It sits on the opposite side of the canal/marina from places like tabac and the outdoor seating has a great view of Piazza Terracina. It's a great little spot for watching the world go by and people spotting. The service was very attentive, and there is a good selection for nibbles and drinks if that's what you're there for. Although people can walk past your table as there is a thoroughfare (I think) in front of the restaurant, given its location set away from the main Quay area, there aren't that many people who might walk past.

Fantastic experience at Quayside Distillery last night. The cocktails were creative and delicious. The food was outstanding! Great service and I saw they also have a “lab” where soon you will be able to make your own gin! Perfect date night spot. Will definitely be back

This place was so good I actually bothered to review it. The cocktails were fantastic, the Tapas style food was banging. The Iberico Jamon was just as good as Salamanca. There’s a gin school here too where you can make your own. The staff was great. The owner attentive. The best experience I’ve had in a bar/restaurant in forever. And my lady still can’t stop going on about the cream tea cocktail. She’s obsessed. Definitely worth a trip. Parking is free after 6pm in the quay and cathedral Car park. Go here!!!

Beautifully located within the Exeter Quays quarter, this really is a gem for cocktail, gin and tapas lovers. Amazing food, drink and service at a great price that will blow you away. Seating is available both indoors and out to allow you to enjoy the venue regardless of the weather or season. Perfect place to just sit back, relax and enjoy the world go by either solo or with friends/family.

3 stars are for the very nice drinks and nice establishment. Staff were nice enough whilst serving, but we felt that we were being rushed to finish our drinks and leave an hour before the closing time stated online and on the door. The staff turned the lights off and were leaning on the bar staring at us which made us feel a bit unwelcome past 2200 on a Saturday night... This meant we downed our freshly made drinks and went home. I would however go back and give it another try as we might have just been in on an off night.

What a fantastic little find. Possibly the best kept secret the quay has to offer. Tom and George are superb hosts and offer a fantastic selection of drinks. The margarita was something else and the ambience and aesthetic of the place really finish off what is a wonderful experience. Will be back again.

One of the best venues in Exeter! Booked the venue for a private event and it was the best decision. Big shout out to George, who was super helpful from the moment I sent the enquiry form up to the last minute of the event! He provided many options and flexiblity to arrange the event as we wanted. We even organised a silent disco for the night! Food was also great and everyone enjoyed themselves! Can't recommend enough!

The Quayside Distillery Gin making workshop was next level! Incredibly informative and fun. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested! Great value for a gift or a shared experience.
