Lovely local pub. Staff are friendly and the food is reasonably priced and very good. There is a nice beer garden and play area for kids to enjoy. Not a lot of parking, so be prepared to park along near by streets.

We booked a wake here at the recommendation of a friend, we had visited to pay our deposit a few weeks before and the place was lovely. A really nice "Old Country Pub" feel. For the wake the staff were polite and any issues we had (very minimal such as asking for an extra bin for the buffet) were dealt with. The food was very good and well worth the £4.95 per head, the drinks where a little pricey but that is to be expected from a proper pub. The garden area was perfect for our family and friends and its been a few weeks now and we have had nothing but praise passed onto us from those aho attendid about the venue.

A lovely pub with a real family atmosphere. Reasonable prices and the bar staff are always chatty and helpful. The place is clean and tidy too, and the outdoor garden with toys for the children makes it appealing to families. A great community pub!

Great little pub. Staff have been really welcoming and helpful whenever I come with my Dad who’s in a wheelchair - Access is around the back as if you were going to pub garden. Got a lovely big pub garden which is great in summer which has a children’s play area and is dog friendly. Food is good standard British pub food and good selection of drinks including ales and gins. All reasonably priced.

Absolutely delicious food and smaller appetite portions available. Highly recommend it 👌

Went for a walk, ended up at this pub for lunch and what a lunch it was, the 1 and only downside was that the portions weren't the biggest for the price you paid, however the food was fantastic, the staff were super friendly and they even had a great and well maintained area for the children to play in, will definitely be going back again next time we're in the vicinity

Great food. A little high in price but overall a nice pub. Last time I tried visiting mind they were closed on a bank holiday. Staff are friendly

We recently held a wake at The Tally Ho. The contact was great, they accommodated all of our dietary requirements really well and gave excellent guidance on catering for a large number of people. Although the weather was against us and we couldn't use the garden there was plenty of room for us all in the pub. I would recommend this as a venue without hesitation.

I enjoyed one of the specials, lamb moussaka, it was delicious. My partner chose the fish & chips & was equally impressed. Good sized portions without being huge, we could actually eat it all & still feel comfortable. A good selection of local beers completed the options. We will be back!

Been going to this pub for a long time. Went for a walk & popped in & had a cuppa. Lovely ladies working there. Didn't eat but saw the Sunday roast & will definitely going for one, looked scrummy. Great put stop after a walk around the green trail.

Visited lunch time with dogs had lunch for four people which was good but I was very disappointed with my small fish n chips price at £9 ×6 chips tiny square of fish and a few peas the container of tartar sauce was almost bigger than fish sorry Tally ho you missed a trick on this snack more like a tapas

Rang last minute for a meal for 2 people and 3 dogs. Table ready when we arrived, super choice on the menu food served hot and obviously cooked on demand. Delicious

Visited whilst on holiday! Lovely staff, Very accommodating, I would highly recommend visiting! They have a lovely garden at the rear and it's a real sun trap! Children friendly too what more could you ask for.

What a lovely pub! Really friendly staff and a gorgeous garden out the back. Real ales on tap too. You'll love it. Go and have a look. We went on a Sunday afternoon, clearly people were still there after lunch service so it must have a great reputation for food. We'll be going again definitely.

Although fairly quiet, we had a very enjoyable lunch. Amazing staff, quick service. Would highly recommend.

Ordered steak and ale pie with chips and peas, the slice of pie was very dry and the meat was tough, thank God for a watery gravey to give it some kind of taste. Very over priced.

Meal in December for myself and husband with our 10 month old and our dear friends (another couple). Baby stayed in the pram to start (no high chairs?) then on our laps. Lovely friendly family atmosphere, nice Christmas decorations and good food. Would recommend and would visit again.
