In 2019 my nan was extremely poorly, I messaged Isca Funerals (on a friday) and asked some questions regarding a possible impending funeral. They could not have been more helpful! By the beginning of the following week our whole world changed and we required the use of their services. They were amazing, listened to everything we said and wanted and went above and beyond so we could give this amazing matriarch the best send off we possibly could. Making her funeral as personal as possible and just as she would have wanted. Nothing was too much trouble and even kept informed around our song choices to make sure they had found and had the right version of our songs we had asked for. They were amazing and helpful with my then 3 year old child who was equally a part of this sad time. Malcolm and Kelsea were my angels at a time when I was almost broken, I can never thank them enough for making one of the hardest parts of my life somewhat bearable. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again and have highly recommended them to friends and family who have inturn used them. I have been in close contact with most funeral directors in the Exeter area and these are by far the best. Thank you again all at Isca Funerals.

From the first phone call until the day of the funeral and beyond, Malcolm, Kelsea and the team could not have done more, we can’t thank them enough for the empathy, help and guidance they have given.They looked after our beloved, darling daughter/granddaughter / sister with respect and dignity, nothing was too much trouble often seeing us and taking our calls out of hours, they went above and beyond to ensure all of our wishes were met. On Saturday 7th December 2019 we had an incredible service for my beloved husband. I had originally met Malcolm with 3 of my friends a month and a half earlier. I wanted to know what was available for someone so amazing as my Beloved. Malcolm is so unbelievably patient. It was a Saturday and my friends and I were in his office for 2 and half hours. I remember him telling me that Isca was there to make things legal so I should think about what I would like. I didn't have a clue. I thought I had to have a service in a church or crematorium but he told me I didn't! Well, that was a game changer. He told us a few stories of how other people had chosen for their dear ones and from that, I realised, I really could do nearly anything. Malcolm is also so forward thinking that he foresaw that I may have problems in our local community hall in West Devon as it was the run up to Christmas and therefore, he was prepared with his team to do a Saturday. He was right, the only date available in the calendar at the hall was Saturday 7th December. Malcolm recommended people to me but never pushed. Julie of Aurora Ceremonies was one of those and I'm so glad she was our celebrant. Together, Isca and Aurora, they were the dream team. As a result, I had so many people coming to me and still do, to this day, tell me that it was the best funeral and celebration of a life they had ever been too. I believe them because I think so too - it was perfect! Malcolm aided by his son and manager, Kelsea were just great and such imagination. I had previously visited another funeral director, who was the opposite to Isca. The unnamed funeral director didn't tell me about options but just tried to sell me a boring package. Isca gave me the confidence and autonomy for me to give my Beloved the best and most loving celebration and a celebration he would be so glad of and be so proud of me, for choosing such a dream team. Thank you Malcolm and team - for your care, thoughtfulness, patience and sheer imagination to make this funeral, strangely, one of the most beautiful days ever, in my life. xx

A huge thank you to Malcolm, Jordan and Kelsea for the way they prepared and conducted our son, Chris' funeral. Despite numerous changes of plan, nothing was too much trouble. We want to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to both Malcom and Kelsea, for their support, kindness and patience after the loss of our much-loved mum Judy, in March of this year. They made a difficult time more bearable. We had absolute confidence that whilst mum was in their care she was well looked after. We can honestly say nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend ISCA Funeral Services. Malcolm and Kelsea are exceptionally professional and caring people, and I'm sure that my Dad was well-looked after by them. They were extremely supportive and went extra mile to help me out with the organisation of all of the necessary paperwork to take my Dad's ashes back to Poland, which they didn't have to do. I honestly can't thank them enough as they were always full of compassion and support, nothing was too much of a trouble for them. They made that very difficult time for me and my family way more bearable.

I did not plan the funeral but was left to deal with the estate of my late ex husband. Whilst the banks were processing the funds from his account which would be used to pay the balance of the funeral, I kept Isca Funerals informed of what was happening. Unfortunately these things take time and but Isca funerals were not supportive and instead were demanding money from me (which I did not have) and left me threatening messages despite the fact they knew I was still awaiting the funds to be released. Unbelievably, they took it upon themselve to contact my ex husband's bank themselves to hurry things along. Do not use this funeral directors as they show no compassion, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!

From the moment we first made contact with Isca Funerals we knew we had found a firm that were compassionate, genuinely caring and they were exactly that throughout the whole process. My sister Elizabeth was so well looked after by Malcolm and Kelsea who are so professional but also made me feel very cared for. At the risk of repeating all the positive things that others have said previously, I feel I can't emphasise them enough. Malcolm and Kelsea were recommended to us by a good friend who'd used them twice before. They were so completely professional, respectful, caring and compassionate at what was obviously a traumatic time. We had a very simple, quiet farewell for Mum which was just absolutely perfect and exactly the way we wanted it. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and nothing fazed them. I felt I could safely relax knowing that arrangements were in very safe hands. We had approached other funeral directors but got the distinct impression that they all seemed to be far more in it "for the money" , pushing "add-ons" etc and not genuinely caring - the opposite to Isca. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again [just hopefully not for a long time now!!]

Would like to thank Isca Funeral services for everything they done to make our dad's funeral on 29/7/2022 amazing, they made sure it was dignified and stress free so all we had to do was concentrate on saying goodbye to our lovely dad. Malcom and Kelsea were absolutely amazing dealing with mums funeral, from collecting her body and looking after her, to dealing with our every need, their compassion was second to none, they kept in constant contact informing us about everything, from what would happen on the day until we picked up mums ashes. We used Isca Funerals for my Mum's Funeral on November 4th 2022. I live in London and the proprietor Malcolm and Kelsea could not have been nicer in helping my family and I arrange the Funeral through what really was for us a stressful time.
