Don't ever leave Fatima without even tasting this heart-shaped delicacy at this cafe!!! We were there as soon as they opened their cafe in the morning to try their freshly-baked pastries and freshly brewed coffee. They are sooo good!!! We brought with us a box of this yummy goodies to Madrid that we enjoyed when we got there. It can be served warm or cold, but I prefer when they are a day old off the fridge. They are creamy pastries with a hint of a velvety mochi-like texture. I wished they are sold in Canada. Note that the cafe sells other breads and pastries but this creamy goodness is their specialty and the most sought-after product.

This was such a nice discovery during our day trip to Fatima. It was easy to find and their best-selling heart-shaped pastry is a must-try! Order a box and enjoy it over a few days, they stay good. There were no lines unlike the popular bakery in Belem. If you are visiting Fatima, don’t miss this spot.
