Sacred Place where exactly Our Lady appeared to three Shepherd Children. Many those specially Love our Lady honour her Mediating and praying the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary on their knee and going around the apparition Chapel. I was blessed to offer the Holy Mass here. Please visit and be blessed through her by the Lord Jesus. Yes Our Lady can hold your hand on your journey and no doubt you'll blessed with Eternal rewards. AVE MARIA

The Chapel of the Apparitions is holy location situated near the middle of the Sanctuary of Fatima grounds. This is the location where the shepherd children had their apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The chapel is open format with rows of seating facing the sculpture and image of the Virgin Mary. There are regularly held mass services as well. You can find that information on the Shrine of Fatima website.

One of the three major places of worship and Marian devotion on the huge plaza of Fatima. The chapel is used by the faithful for silent devotion, either sitting on the benches or circumambulating on their knees the altar and the statue of Our Lady of the Rosary. Catholic masses are celebrated and rosaries prayed several times a day, and in the evenings the candlelight procession around the plaza starts and ends there. I am not sure whether the candlelight procession happens every evening during the week. I was visiting over a long weekend and, therefore, could observe all the mid-month of June festivities.

Sacred place. A small chapel where the actual apparitions happened that made Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta special and blessed. This chapel was constructed per instruction of the Our Lady of the Rosary. So many pilgrims who pray silently and some kneel-walking. You will see the image of the Virgin Mary in the middle of this chapel. Excellent place to pray and to make an earnest request from the Blessed Virgin Mary. Highly recommend to all Catholics.

If you are a coming here as a pilgrm, I highly recommend attending the nightly rosary, lighting of candles and a procession starting from the chapel. At night, there is limited seating, but standing throughout the prayers is an option. Even in the middle of summer, it is very windly and cool in this part of Portugal, so keep yourself warm. Chapel of Apparitions The very heart of the Sanctuary. It was the first edifice constructed in the Cova da Iria, at the place of Our Lady's Apparitions. The exact spot is marked by a marble pillar on which the Statue of Our Lady is placed. Here converge the four million pilgrims who visit the Sanctuary each year. (Fatima Sanctuary Tourism)

The chapel of the Apparitions a nice little church compare with the main one. The place was really full of people praying and showing respect to the Fatima Virgin. Later during the morning was a mass.

Beautiful chapel. At night it can get a bit chilly (we went late October) and since it's an open aired chapel we brought light jackets to attend a mass. You can really feel the spiritual engery in Fatima.

This was a very beautiful moving spiritual experience. We had Mass, prayed the Rosary and had a candlelight procession. It was so awesome and we sang to The Lady of the Rosary (the Blessed Virgin Mary) as we had a candlelight procession on the grounds outside of the Chapel of Apparitions and the Basilica of the Lady of the Rosary of Fatima. I went two nights because it was so beautiful! I highly recommend this experience!

Everything you'd expect. Not too crowded if visiting on non feast days. Beautiful feeling, respectful crowds. Must attend at least one mass here for sure

Small. Modest. I'd say the place refers to the spirit of poor peasants.

I have been here in the pouring rain and the blazing sun and this intimate church is a great place for reflection. The rotary and procession at 9.30pm is lovely to be part of.

It's was an amazing feeling to be there, although I am not religious and I went there with my Mum. To see all of these people, some of them crying as their dream to be there came true - heart-warming. Definitely worth paying a visit :)
