A hidden gem! Very good food and reasonable price!! Fast service. Will definitely come back again!

Lovely spacious open restaurant. Tried to go to Mi Amour restaurant which was closed and found Rokos just down the road. Very friendly staff. Beautiful Oka and fresh fruit smoothie. Enjoyed the chowder and masimasi.

Great meals and service We visited on our last night in Samoa, had a section of the deck pretty much to ourselves, played cards while we waited for our meals. Service was quick and friendly and there were no problems with the requests by our picky eaters. I have the Chicken Lupele which was gorgeous. I'd definitely go again.

Takeaway family size lasagna is best on island

Booked here twice. First time food was plain, no taste in their pasta or lasagna. I asked the waitress for assistance and explained what was wrong, she snatched my food and left straight away. The manager came and started a confrontation with me because the waitress told her we refused to pay which we didn’t say! Very rude service, very slow! We waited nearly an hour for lunch and we were the only customers there. Food came, some were cold. Order the coconut drink, it wasn’t even cold! Very warm and not good to drink. Won’t recommend this place to anyone! Great location, food & location is disgusting!

The oka was fresh, niu(coconut) was refreshing and cold. I had the steak sandwich. It was okay, needed salt on the streak when cooked. Nice mushroom sauce paired with it. Chicken curry also lacked salt, but you could tell they put a lot of effort, even serving with roti. Fish n chips was great and the kids loved the orange kitten.

The oka here is really good, I just wish it came in a main size. The rest of the food was nice too and the restaurant itself is in a nice, relaxed, semi-outdoor setting.

We went there yesterday and no fish or lobster available...we ordered based onlimited menu and took over an hour and a half for food to be ready. Poor customer service

This place is hidden away from the main part of Apia, it has a beautiful outdoor area overlooking trees and the shore. It can be quite hot sitting outside but the wait staff came and turned on the fans as soon as we sat down. I wish I was more hungry because I only got the oka, but it was soooo good. Definitely want to come back again before I leave

Hard to eat with your fingers!!! No forks, knives.....Ordered med. well, got very well done. Green beans need to be steamed at least a little bit. Portion great. Lovely cold mushroom gravy. $60. ??? Sorry, no.

Got to love Rokos ❤️ best restaurant in Samoa. Great seating area and beautiful at night. We enjoyed our lunch with Rossa the restaurant owner. And look forward to returning for many meals and fun together. Thanks 😊

This is our second visit to Roko's, last time was a year ago when we were last in Samoa. We arrived at 7pm to watch several staff setting up tables for a group, and a few tables on the side. A bit confused as to why they wouldn't have done this at 4 or 5pm, but we waited (around 10mins) for them to have a table ready to seat us - almost no other customers present, they are not busy serving anyone. Friendly waitress. We order bruschetta and Thai spring rolls to share (after being told the oka, poke and sashimi were not available), which were both tasty - 7/10. The coconut cocktails we ordered were a little small, but good - 7/10. I ordered the Surf n Turf - bad idea. NZ ribeye steak (ordered medium rare), with prawns, green peppercorn sauce, baked potato, steamed vegetables - WST 75. I am served one of the worst restaurant meals I've ever experienced - reheat baked potato (dry), sauce not available so have to choose another which came out as a literal cup of melted butter, small portion of steamed veges, undersize (not 300g!) and well overcooked steak - completely forgot the prawns so have to wait another 15 mins. Unhappy with every part of the dish, I decided to take it back to kitchen and politely said no thanks (never done this in my life). They came to table and said they wanted to make another one, I said no thank you, they insisted (the chef really wants to rectify), I said no it's ok but thanks, they insist further and finally I reluctantly agree. Wait at least another 25 mins to receive the replacement dish, which was equally terrible - a thinner steak (now undercooked), another dry baked potato, prawns in cup of melted butter. After a few bites I refused to eat it, and left soon after. Really disappointed that after 2hrs at the restaurant and now after 9pm, I still haven't eaten a meal - I go back to hotel and decide to try my luck ordering a NZ sirloin steak with.... baked potato and salad. A little anxious, but within 15-20mins, out came the most intense sizzling steak I can remember being served - tasty, right portion, moist baked potato, delicious salad, at only WST 50. Go figure! My friends found their meals ok - 6/10. What's annoying is that they pressured me to give them a second shot after I said no, twice. Fixing their mistake is for their benefit - not mine. I then had to wait to receive another bad meal, and finally they let us pay for it. Friendly service is not enough - the food must match the price. I hope this message gets through. We will not be back to Roko's, there are several other great options in Apia serving similar menu - no need to try our luck here again.

Well executed meals. A combo of Samoan and western fusion. Wide open area in a surprising setting above the tree canopy with some views of the city and ocean, not obvious from the front of the building. Friendly staff and reasonable pricing. Good for a romantic evening or large groups.

Great staff. Great food. Worth your tala! Spacious and you get a great scenery of Samoa’s much greenery on the mountains. Breezy and comfortable.
