Had a christmas work dinner here with drinks to follow, Steak burger was probably best burger I have eaten. Good selection of beers, lagers wines and spirits. Nice place got very busy.

Held a funeral party, staff were respectful, pub was very clean. Colin was a great help. Had our own food, which was delivered & put out by local cafe (Rachel, @ Brunch N Lunch). Cheers guy's, much appreciated. Tina

Great little room for a party x I had my 60th birthday party in the function room last year what a wonderful evening everything was spot on it was a 70s disco the room was amazing the food was the best thanks to Sue Gibbo and all the staff were great. I would use this room anytime. The cost of the room hire is amazing..Thank you for helping to make my 60th extra special and we just made it before covid appeared..

Had my mums 60th in the function room. Such a lovely space. The bar staff were incredible and the food was amazing and great value for money. Definitely worth using their catering instead of doing your own buffet as they are generous on the portions so only order for about half the people in your party and it will be enough. I'd also like to say booking their recommended DJ is good. They got the party going and get everyone involved immediately doing things like walking round and getting people on different tables to sing parts of songs.

The first time at this location; I want to provide a factual account of my experience, so others considering booking this location can make extra arrangements for their invited guest. The function room is surely to be AVOIDED. We had a Christening gathering which was appropriately no more than 50 people with babies, toddlers and parents. We had our own catering but we had a LICENSED bar for the purchase of drinks. The room had NO VENTILATION; but had an emergency standardised exit door which we had to open. All guests were dressed appropriately in suits, gowns etc and were made EXTREMELY uncomfortable with the heat of the room; everyone's clothing was saturated with perspiration. There was no means of keeping guests comfortable, who complained of the heat. So, to ensure every invitee is enjoyably happy 😊 take measures of either using mobile fans or purchasing individual fans for guests. I spoke to staff to see what can be done; the response was negative; everyone continued as best possible to enjoy the function. No one was in disrupte; I am from Texas, USA and I may be spoiled with the fact we have A/C.
