Beautiful tower. Bonus feature: friendly ginger cat! Most likely to take in this attraction as part of the Drogheda town trail. You cannot gain access to the interior of the tower. Maximum time spent there is around 10 minutes to take a photo or two. It's in the middle of a residential area and is not a visitor centre but there is some information about the monument nearby.

Magdalene Tower Drogheda Co. Louth. Built in 1224. Great historical building πŸ‘only flaw is that the gate is always locked so you can't gain access to the yard. Also there's a very friendly orange cat 🐈 πŸ˜ƒ.

It's a beautiful place to visit in Drogheda. I have some friends who live there, have taken me to everywhere else and it was one of my favourite places!!!!
