I'll be honest, I assumed this place was more for health nuts so today was my first time going. (Nothing wrong with health nuts. I'm just, not. Clearly.) Well the fast food places near by looked way too busy so I gave it a shot. AMAZING, fresh, flavorful food. Huge, appealing selection with something for anyone you might bring. Customer service was also fantastic which in itself is hard to find lately.

Food and people are great. Nice free baked samples. Also 50% off day old breads. Coffee is very good. Free cookie for military.

I love the new location! Booths! Much more space to move around. Same awesomeness as the original location, just more elbow room. I arrived at 12:45 pm still hungry for something breakfasty. I was happy to learn that I could still get a veggie breakfast sandwich on the sourdough bread, so I did. My sandwich was wrapped in foil, then paper. It was warm, with melted cheese, avocado, a cooked egg, and grilled peppers. It was so yummy, even though I was full, I wanted another one immediately. I also got a locally made kombucha. This location feels good to me. I love the option of sitting with friends in a booth.

Nice, cozy atmosphere! Staff was extremely sweet and helpful. When we first walked in, we were welcomed and had a variety of bread samples. The monkey bread and cinnamon chip (not sure if that’s the right name) were both delicious. We both had hot sandwiches that tasted fresh, and we got to choose the bread we wanted. We got a chocolate chip cookie for dessert, and that was great too. Highly recommend!!

Sandwiches are the best here, great ingredients and bread. The Cobb salad was disappointing, small amount of chicken. Also it’s very pricey for just one sandwich not including a side or drink.

Went through the drive through today and while the food was correct and delicious, they agave me a cold hot latte and my husband a latte that he didn’t order. When we asked for another black coffee it wasn’t an actual black drip coffee, of which we waited 5 minutes to get. They did give us a cookie which was great. Super disappointed.

If you want a cup of soup and side salad for $16 and a fountain soda for $3.75 then this is your place! Wasn't even what I wanted but I ate it anyways.

Great bread choices and huge rolls! The smokehouse sandwich was toasted and delicious 🥪 Can't wait to come back and try the pastries

Try the cinnamon chip bread and the banana walnut bread! The breakfast sandwiches are also divine - I got egg, cheddar, and bacon on a cheddar garlic roll and it was so good. Also - the cinnamon roll!? Delish. And such friendly staff too!!

Expected a little bakery cafe and found a great bread shop with amazing treats! The morning make your own was delicious, hot, and fresh-- and if they ask if you want a half or a whole one, get the whole for leftovers (this from someone who's used to Southern portion sizes)!! They have breakfast and lunch sandwiches, as well as cookies, rolls, and more. I'll be sure to come back when I visit again :)

Would like to see the rye bread baked more often. It is a great place for my bread indulgence!

Sandwiches are super expensive. Five of us spent $70 on sandwiches alone. My chicken was really rubbery and staff was sorta friendly. Not sure it was worth the money.

I ordered a turkey and Swiss without red onion. I get home to eat there are red onions, 2 thin tiny pieces of turkey, and thick tomato slices. 1thin slice of Swiss. Cost 14.50. What a waste of money. The bread was ok, but it just fell apart from the thick tomato slices. I couldn't believe it. I would have brought it back but I live in Fox and did not want to go all the back to town. Very disappointing.

A very relaxing establishment with a slight “homey” feel. I enjoyed all the puns that are used and the amount of product that is made in store. They have lots of merchandise for sale as soon as you come in, but it doesn’t feel cluttered. It just makes a nice path to the counter to order. As a lover of a Cubano (sandwich), this is the sandwich I chose from their menu. At least I can say I tried it. I had the turkey removed and changed the bread from honey wheat to white. I ended up removing the pickles after the first bite, as they were sour and didn’t compliment the sandwich (to my taste)- saying this someone else could love this take on a Cubano. The fresh Lemon Bar was awesome. It definitely has that homemade flavor. So, the sweets and the bread is so very much love at first bite.

Some of the worst customer service I've ever received. I ordered online where it said my food would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. I arrived and waited instore for my order. I finally asked at the front about my missing order after people who arrived after me received their food. The counter girl laughed and asked if I waited long and said I needed to let them know i was there and had me sign my receipt. Nothing online said I needed to speak with anyone and there are no visible signs saying to speak with someone at the counter for an online order. I then preceeded to wait another 20 minutes to get my food where even more people who came in after me received their food. Will not eat here again. Also, they should really put out signs, as at least two other people had the same issue and waited a similar amount of time.

We ordered ahead an hour before designated pickup time and we wanted soup specifically. We showed up just for them to tell us they ran out of soup. We did get a full refund, but if you have an order that far ahead you should make sure you have that product or at least contact the customer ahead of time to tell them so they don't cross town for nothing.

Been there twice on our trip and still loving it. We tried the new Gouda Stout Bread loaf and it is absolutely delicious. Not to mention it’s probably the most creative bread we’ve ever had. They were also pretty generous with the bread tasting which was awesome. Also, try their hot off the grill sandwiches - so worth the calories.

I've always liked Great Harvest. But, today I got a bowl of soup and side salad and it was $22.00. I didn't even get the slice of bread. It was very expensive and I didn't get much. You should change your prices.

Edit: I saw the manager/owner?/whoever was in charge, drop a (bagged) cookie onto the floor then put it onto a plate, touching the sandwich, and served it. That’s absolutely disgusting and not ok. At least wash hands and change the bag. I love this place. They have the best sandwiches and are worth the expense if you can afford it! The BLTA is my absolute favorite following their grilled cheese. The food is always fresh.

Really cool place to stop for breakfast. We got a cinnamon roll and a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. They were both delicious and the coffee was good, too.

I purchased a gift basket for delivery in Fairbanks. I had a few questions and found the owner Tricia, to be extremely helpful. It turns out that Tricia ended up delivering the basket herself. Unfortunately the home address was a bit tricky to find. She very kindly called me for more information and was so patient as I worked to get her in touch with the recipients to guide her. It is obvious that Tricia goes above and beyond for her Great Harvest customers. The basket was filled with delicious breads and treats. I’ll definitely be stopping in for goodies at Great Harvest Bread next time I’m in Fairbanks. Thank you so much Tricia!

Delicious bread, sandwiches, and salads! Excellent customer service. The young lady who took our lunch order was very attentive and accommodating. She offered us bread samples before we made our selection. She also suggested to try their mixed berry and cream cheese scones which were delicious. Highly recommend this bakery!

So good!!!! The sandwiches are so fresh and so delicious. The salad servings are really generous, and they’re also really fresh. This is the perfect place for a hearty and nutritious meal!

Great bakery with so many options to choose from. We did their breakfast sandwiches. Note that a full is planet of food, I’m really hungry in the morning and I barely finished mine. The wife only ate half of hers. Also we got a rice krispy treat and monkey bread.. gotta try the bread. It was excellent as I thought it would be. The only downside was I ordered online which was a bit slow but per a Google maps update, they may have just started offering online ordering so it’s understandable. It said 15-30 minutes, I showed up at the 20 minute mark and it wasn’t ready until the 35 minute mark. But either way, not enough of an inconvenience to dock them a star, still a 5 star experience.
