This place is a NO! The outside of the restaurant is nice however when you get inside, there are 4-5 hostesses just sitting around. The hostess working the day we went had her teeny bopper friends up there talking about who slept with who. The food is very bland, (salt & pepper can go a long way) and the fries were cold. Very upset because the place is not exactly the cheapest for cold, bland food and teenage drama.

Excellent food and service! First time there since college 25 years ago, just as good! Less than $1 hundo for family of 4, two adult drinks each, two Shirley Temple Floats, and some wings, is a winning price in my book.

Who comes to food factory for soup? Soup lovers do! Afterall, they have six amazing phenomenal options. Chili, French Onion, Loaded Baked Potato, Clam Chowder, Hungarian Goulash and Cheesesteak soup! Yum! I got the Hungarian Goulash (has a spicy kick to it) and the French Onion. As stated before, I'm into soup. I hunted the soup and I found it. Best soup in Fairbanks might be hiding at the Food Factory! Plus your non-soup friends can eat a myriad of burgers, wings, sandwiches, salads and more.

First time eating at Food Factory and we loved it! Huge portions, everything tasted great and our waitress, Brittany, was awesome! We tried the fried ice cream and it was so so good! My only suggestion is their bbq beans are served cold and well, that’s just a sin to a Southern girl!! You gotta serve ‘em hot!! We will be back!

When we are shopping in Fairbanks, this is usually our family's go-to restaurant. I have tried almost everything on their menu, and I can honestly say everything I've tried has been good. The service has also been good as well. If you haven't tried their Cuban sandwich, you're missing out. Great Job Food Factory.

Being my first time there, I opted for the "Cheesasaurus" burger 🍔 and the Northpole coffee ☕️. Both were excellent! I'm glad I found a new place to eat when I travel to Ft. Wainwright.

Ordered the captains platter. At first was impressed with the serving size except halibut portion. Got 2small pieces around an inch in diameter THEN when I bit into it was very chewy and the meat was opaque. It was definitely freezer burnt. And half of it was breading. Also shrimp was 2/3 breading and they were small as my pinky. Worst yet they still had their poop veins in it! The rest of the meal, especially clams tho was good.

Food is pricey but great portions and taste. You'll leave bursting or with leftovers. Place is too loud for me at times but that is the guests not the radio. Wait-staff are kind and helpful, always ask what they recommend.

For this town, 5 stars means it's good food. So when I give this 5 stars, it's not because the food is incredible. It just means the food is better than anything around. That said, the Philly cheese steaks are tasty. The cheese was melted into the meat and mushrooms and onions. The bun wasn't overly baked, so it was nice that it wasn't crazy crunchy. We got the cheese sticks as an appetizer and they are good. The Jalapeno ones are better than the plain, in my opinion, but they are both still good. Service was good. They told us to sit where we wanted but it did take quite a while to have a waitress come. Once she did, it was great service. The only true complaint about the place is it is a bit pricey for what you get. The cheese steaks are over $20 a piece and the appetizers range from $10-20. I'm not sure it's worth it for the price, but at least the food was better than everything else in town.

We have eaten here a few times but today it was really slow service. I believe I will not come back for this reason. The food is good but not good enough to wait 45 minutes after ordering.

Food factory has been around for a long time and the quality has definitely varied. Lately however, I've been very impressed. The service has been fast, the food has been fresh, and the portions have been generous. If you're willing to pay the steep price for a sit-down meal in Fairbanks, this is a great option.

Ate here while vacationing in Alaska. We found the food to be quite good. While the prices are higher than similar type food back home in Iowa, prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants in the Fairbanks area. We received good and friendly service. I found the men’s restroom to be quite messy but that was the only negative.

Cheese curd appetizer was hot and good but also very greasy. Had the Cheese steak with fries and buffalo wings. Both were very good. The service was friendly spot on.

Great vegan options!! You can do any of their cheesesteak sandwiches with vegan meat. I tried the veggie cheesesteak, and it was absolutely amazing! They also have vegan fried artichoke hearts with a vegan ranch to dip it in that was crispy, well seasoned, and delicious. I wasn't expecting to find such incredible vegan options in Fairbanks!

Stopped in for a late lunch and were seated promptly. However it took almost 40 minutes to get our food. Waitress was very polite, but barely keeping up with the amount of tables she had. The poutine was amazing, failed to get a picture though. We had the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and Fairbanks Hot Chicken Sandwich. The chicken was way over cooked and chewy on both. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich wasn’t anything special. The Fairbanks was good aside from the overcooked chicken, the sauce on it was delicious.

Was there 10/12 for lunch. Server Gretchen was extremely non attentive and borderline rude. Never checked on us after food was delivered to table for anything-refills, ect. Seemed almost like she avoided working in general. Had credit card out hoping she would see we were ready- finally dropped the ticket of, no words, no thanks nothing. There was a younger brunette (a tad bit thick ;) ) didn't get her name... but she serviced the other tables. She was friendly and upbeat, like the hostess. Food was good, but one bad server can ruin a repeat customer- and that Gretchen did. Maybe it was a bad day for her, but you got to fake it to make it sometimes in a tip oriented serving biz

I had not eaten in 24+ plus hours due to fasting for a medical procedure. My wife suggested this place and unfortunately I agreed. The food was mediocre at best. I was craving a burger and was disappointed at what was served to me. It was loaded with to much cheese, BBQ sauce, and bacon. I removed it all and then realized the patty was a bit dry and way too Salty. This is coming from someone that actually likes salt, but this was unedible. My wife had some type sub or sandwich. It was pretty hefty and doused in dressing and tons of cheese. She had a bite and we brought it home and went straight to the trash. We don't like to complain about food at restaurants and we did have pretty decent service. Our kids had a few things and they kinda picked at it. We figured it was typical of a 5 yr old, but we too picked at it and passed. Might be a taste preference thing, but more than likely the food just wasn't prepared correctly. Once again, our servant was very attentive to us and made the otherwise regretful decision to eat there not so unpleasant.

The food at Food Factory is good. We chose to sit up on their outdoor deck which I highly recommend. Even with the weather being windy we enjoyed eating up there. Our service was average. Their alcoholic drinks were not worth ordering. The selection of mixed drinks is very limited due to the fact that even though they offer mix drinks they have no bartender. The waitress responsible for making the drinks used an excessive amount of ice so the drinks became watered down quickly. We will be visiting again. I recommended to my sister and brother in law when they were visiting but did let them know what to expect good food, great outdoor dining and average but polite service.

The service was excellent. Gretchen was fun and offered great options for yummies. The food was wonderful. I had the Captains basket and it had a lot of seafood in it. My bride had the loaded potato soup.( Be advised, it's no so soupy) but really tasty! The strawberry shakes are delicious!

The food is absolutely fantastic! We had a little issue with our to go order and the management made it right. That's a place I want to give my business to. When a business appreciates your time and money and wants to make it right, that's the kind of business you go back to. We had a variety of meals and everything was equally delicious. The clam chowder had great big chunks of potatoes and lots of clams. The buffalo wings were yummy and the sauce might be my favorite buffalo sauce ever! The sandwiches and burgers were fantastic! We will definitely be back any time we visit Fairbanks.

We were sat quickly and our server was super nice. The menu has LOTS of choices, so you may want to look at those pictures to have an idea of the choices. We ordered the Little Human’s meals first of mac n’ cheese and a kid’s cheeseburger and fries to give us more time to peruse the menu. We decided on the Ruben with onion rings and Extreme Snowboarder Mushroom Blue Cheese Burger (minus the mushrooms)With curly fries. The Ruben looked really good, but the meat was dry and needed more dressing. The onion rings were battered and just a tad overdone. The blue cheese burger was really good and the curly fries were fried perfectly.
