As other reviewers have said. We had a 7:30 reservation and we were not seated until 8:00. It was a Saturday night but still kinda ridiculous. The waitress and staff were all very kind and helpful with the menu. The food was really good, I enjoyed all of it. And I would definitely eat there again. The other issue was that we had to wait a long time to get the check. The staff were putting away tables right next to us (it was 9:45 at this time) and we are sitting there waiting for the check for around 15 minutes. The food was 5 stars, but because of the service and wait time (with a reservation) and the price (pretty expensive) I have to give it 3 stars.

Although the wait staff I encountered in the bar area were phenomenal, attentive, and everything you would love in a server... The food I wasn't personally impressed with... Not only did I ask for the fresh pasta of the day, and not receive it... I had the veal piccata, which was literally like soup.. never in my life have I ever had a dish like that so watery... Wouldn't recommend that dish... For the price you pay, the quality is just not there... Maybe someday I'll give it another shot, but it definitely wouldn't be tomorrow... The wine was great though..

Tried Bocca for the first time since the rebranding. Started with Calamari and its still some of the best in the area. Had the Carne and Portuguese Steak pizza. Both were pretty good. Decent amount of toppings. New dough is an improvement, but the Pizza had a little too much flop. Could have used a little more crunch. Overall, I'd say marginal improvement.

Really enjoyed the scallops risotto. It was creamy, savory, and rich. The only downside is that the waiting time for service and food is quite long

Bocca restaurant is a must-visit for those who enjoy modern Italian cuisine and seafood. From the moment we walked in, the chic and contemporary atmosphere made us feel right at home. The inviting booth seating provided the perfect setting for an intimate dinner with friends. The staffs were friendly and accommodating, and they went out of their way to provide us with excellent service. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided great suggestions, including information about customizing our pasta dishes to our liking. We started with the famous Wagyu Meatballs with Fresh Narragansett Ricotta, and they were simply phenomenal. The meatballs were exquisite and definitely worth every penny. We rated them a perfect 5/5. My husband ordered the Tips Gorgonzola and thoroughly enjoyed it, rating it a good 4/5. Our friend ordered the Chicken Alfredo, and while he liked it, he rated it a 3/5. As for my dish, the Butternut Squash Ravioli was a standout. The sweet maple cream sauce added an extra layer of flavor, and the ravioli itself was fresh and tasted like it was melting in my mouth. It was an incredible dish and one of the best ravioli dishes I've ever had — I rated a 5/5! Overall, our experience at Bocca was fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was inviting. It’s also budget friendly — Affordable prices ! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a modern Italian dining experience.

We went to Bocca on a Monday night and I’m so glad we did. We got the $59.99 special for couples- 1 bottle of wine, 1 shared appetizer and 2 entrees. The waitress Bella was excellent and when we couldn’t decide which wine to choose she brought us samples. The menu is limited BUT there were several entres to choose from and our entrees were excellent with large portions. We got the Pork chop with bacon jam. This was honestly The Best I’ve ever had, so moist!! We also got the stuffed scrod. Yummy (but pork chop was fabulous). We had enough left to bring home and share for another meal.

This is a really nice place. You can come here with family, friends or on a date and the atmosphere fits all. Ive had dinners and brunches, the food never disappoints. They also have good drinks I usually enjoy wine with pasta. The service is very nice and friendly. It can get very busy so a reservation is A MUST!!

my boyfriend and i have decided to dine at the pasta house now renamed bocca for our anniversary. this was year two, and it was just as wonderful as the last time! even tho the classic fettuccine alfredo isn’t on the menu our waitress let us know we could still order it, and oh was i excited! it’s absolutely the best alfredo i’ve ever had. (and still is) my boyfriend decided to be fancy for the occasion and get the filet mignon and he absolutely enjoyed it. oh and yes, the mashed potatoes were excellent and yes i’m one of those people who eats them with ketchup.. we also got dessert to go, and you know sometimes that can make things a hit or miss from restaurants.. oh was it a hit! one of the best cookies i’ve ever tasted. with my boyfriend getting the tiramisu, but i didn’t get a time to take a photo.. so you know he enjoyed it! Oh! and our waitress, i can’t remember her name but she was so so SO kind, and checked on us regularly, even made small laughs with us. the only thing i would recommend in the future is to possibly maybe have an non alcoholic drink menu or add it to the existing drink menu. our waitress was kind enough to list them off all though, and made a delicious shirley temple. i can’t wait for our 3rd anniversary so we can come back. or maybe i can convince him sooner! but, pasta house or bocca, you’re now a tradition in our little love story.

Typically don’t leave reviews anymore. But I’ll make an exception. My lunch was extremely tasty and the prices are super fair. I will be having my lunch from here again soon in the near future

Was out in New Bedford as a vendor for a craft fair for the weekend and am a huge fan of Italian food so when someone recommended this place and then I googled it and saw good reviews I immediately booked a reservation! For being an extremely busy Saturday night - we were in and out of there in an hour, very impressed with the pace. Service was impeccable and food was to die for! I got the chicken piccata and my bf got the Gorgonzola tip pasta. We live two hours away buttt I think we’ll be taking a trio back up there soon!

All the food was very good. I wasn’t impressed with the espresso and the cappuccino. I ordered a shot and regular cappuccino and received less than half of a shot of espresso, very very disappointing. The cappuccino was mostly espresso maybe that’s where the shot I ordered ended up, There was practically no foam and there was espresso grounds inside. You shouldn’t be serving espresso based beverages if you can’t pull a shot or make a simple cappuccino.

Known previously as the Pasta House and Now Renamed as Bocca. They recently remodeled the place and it is beautiful. Last night we decided to give it a try and glad we did. The staff are always, welcoming and friendly. I decided on the Baked Haddock, Fresh Roasted Veggies, and Mashed Potatoes. My daughter ordered the Sauté Tips, another Great Choice. Starting with the appetizers. We ordered the Crab cakes, golden brown and cooked to perfection. Great Taste too. Our waitress deserves recognition for the Professionalism & friendly Service she provided while serving us. Making sure that our drinks never hit the end mode. I highly recommend this place to you!

First off the cauliflower pizza is NOT GLUTEN FREE. The crust may have been at one point but I watched as the cook dropped in on a pile of flour, The prep area where they make the charcuterie board and pizza is loaded in flour. If your GF just skip those item Itook a chance the kitchen was better knowledgeable and got the steak tip gorgonzola Gluten free and it was very good. Just how it was from the pasta house. The GF pasta was excellent. Drinks where good and prices were ok for what we got and the atmosphere. Portions looked small at first but filling and enough for two meals. My date for the shrimp pasta and also made for two meals but only 4 small shrimp of the plate she did not care for her meal and staff got tied up so she dealt with it. I would probably go back for the pasta and drinks and avoid anything made in the prep area. Staff was friendly. But allot of regulars hold them up talking. Not the staffs fault but does slow them down

Finest dining experience easily in a 20 mile radius. As soon as you enter you are greeted you notice a friendly atmosphere and courteous staff. The kitchen area and all food prep areas are immaculate. No matter what you buy here it tastes amazing. As a third party delivery courier many establishments in the area are plain rude and disrespectful, not one time did I encounter this when coming here. With every visit I'm impressed at how professional and classy this place is. Even upon leaving the staff greets you again and says to have a great day and drive safe. I'm just impressed because of how rare it is now. Hats off to all the employees here setting a standard miles away from anything else in the area.

We dined in today and I will tell you food was delicious but it was the service that pushed it over the top. Our waitress today was one if not the best we ever had. Not many will think to offer to bring out a small child's food with the appetizer and for a parent that is wonderful! Would recommend and we do come anytime visiting family from out of state.

I attended Bocca for my birthday dinner & it was fantastic. When I arrived, I had a birthday card waiting for me on the table. My server was Bella, who was very nice 😊 The rest of the staff was very kind as well. I ordered the Minestrone soup, which was very good 🥣 For the main course I ordered the Baked Stuffed Shrimp w/ Asparagus. This dish was fantastic. The flavors & textures were immaculate. I was surprised by a sparkly Happy Birthday dessert w/ singing by the staff 🍨 This was a great place for a comfort meal! ❤️

The restaurant and bar were both packed solid on a Monday night. We had reservations but still had to wait a full half hour beyond the reserved time to be seated. There is a lesson there. The menu is fairly standard for an Italian restaurant but had a good selection; something for just about anyone. All our choices were up to scratch - tasty and well presented. Staffing problems caused a little frustration in that the table was not cleared between appetizers and the main course but all of the wait-staff were cordial and cheerful. All in all, The Pasta House is well worth a visit and you will have to decide yourself whether or not to return.

Mario and Lisa greatly enhanced our overall experience with their exceptional service. We requested a customized Shrimp Scampi Pizza that isn’t on their menu and their efforts to provide us with one was only bested by how amazing it tasted. This is the best Shrimp Scampi Pizza we’ve had in Fairhaven and we wholeheartedly recommend having your next meal here. Their remarkable cuisine and impeccable service undoubtedly contribute to an outstanding dining experience.

We hired Bocca to cater our wedding and I can’t say enough good things about them, the service and the food! Every single dish was delicious. Even the deserts had everyone in awe. Elaine, the catering and function manager was absolutely amazing!! Whenever I had questions she would get back to me with answers the same day. She kept it very stress free for us. She and her crew were so friendly& professional. LOVE THEM. Recommend to everyone and anyone- especially if you’re thinking of having them cater your wedding!
