Beautiful view, clean water, great place to visit, historic. Great place to visit alone, to eat lunch, or to bring family and friends.

Great place for exploring. Beach is nice, lifeguards, but bring surf shoes if going in the water, kind of rocky/lots of shells. Outside shower, Bathrooms close early. Playground, basketball court, old fort, picnic areas and hurricane barrier. Free parking. No food stand but ice cream truck occasionally shows up in the summer. Great family place or just to sit and watch the boats.

Beautiful location with an amazing views! There are two parking lots, one main and an overflow lot which you pass by tennis courts to get to. The ocean usually has signs posted that the water is too polluted to swim in or fish from but the sandy shore is definitely worth relaxing on! Based on observation, most people sit in their vehicles facing the water and it's generally a very peaceful place to explore 🙂

Gorgeous spot! Needed a nice place to sit for a video meeting and was extremely happy to stumble upon this lovely park. Seems a popular spot to stop in your vehicle, take a walk, or play. There are a lot of recreational courts for games like tennis, a playground, a sandy beach, and a walking path.

Enjoy coming here with my wife and kids. It's very relaxing and educational (I'm constantly reminding them of this historic places in the area). It's also well maintained and is a great spot for pictures.

What an interesting "historic" place to see. Several information plaques to read about what happened here. The park is well kept and pleasant to be in. Plenty of places to sit and watch boats, people, birds or whatever is there to see. There is a walking path if you wish to stretch the legs and venture towards the bay and watch boats come and go thru the "lock system" as well.

An interesting location with a combination of historical significance and beautiful scenery. Looking out over the water, the harbor, and the hurricane barrier. It's a great spot to walk, have a picnic, or just sit and relax. It's dog friendly and popular for fishing and swimming. All this on the place that dates back to the Revolutionary War! It's well worth a visit when you're in the area.

The ocean has alot of bigger rocks in it but the waves are great. At least they were today when we went. My children and myself always collect rocks from each beach we go to. There are some beautiful rocks there and when I say rock I mean small pebbles. We also found several pieces of sea glass of different colors. There are life guards on duty there until 5:30pm. Dogs are allowed! There are grills, picnic tables, a pavilion for large gatherings, and restrooms. The lifeguards lock the restrooms when they leave so if you gotta go you better go before they lock it. Fort Phoenix is open until dark. Fishing is allowed also. The view there is pretty beautiful and if you have never given this beach a try you should. Parking is even free. You really can't lose here unless seaweed freaks you out. Don't worry it's not an extraordinary amount of it!!
