The BEST non veg food... The hotel was very neat and clean.

This restaurant has already earned a time tested name of its own for serving dandy morsels.. Must try **kada pepper fry**. This restaurant is just a walkable distance from the main bus stand. Limited parking available. Neat and clean restaurant.

Best option to have non-veg meals in Salem. It is like a old house modified into restaurant with lot of partition rooms. Their famous menu is kaadai biriyani and mutton biriyani. They had good variety of starters or side dish. They have multiple branches in and around Salem.

Had big expectations after reading the reviews and yourubers videos but the food was only decent. It’s definitely not the best but very good food in the area.

The most iconic place in Salem. One of the best restaurants in the city. I have had my fair share here not just recently. During my PG days the restaurant used to be our go to place almost all the time, those two years went passed by but the memories of this place still remain intact. Many might find the hotel a bit congested and always crowded. The taste of the food has been just vera level. Pure South Indian tastes with a bit of village touch to it. Their service is one of their main positives, they won't leave you out even if it is too crowded. A must visit if you are in Salem.

Taste was really good. Lasted in the tip of the tongue for a long time. Place is little crowded, the taste will say it's reason. Ordered Chicken Biryani, veg and chicken noodles.. delicious yet the chicken in chicken noodles is not fried it was like cooked chicken. Overall good experience. Worth every penny..

No words for food taste. We tried Chicken Biryani, Mutton Biryani, Chicken Rice, Kothuporotta and Chicken Lolipop. Food was So tasty and delicious. If u visit Salem must Visit here. It's near by Salem Central Bus stand. Good Atmosphere and Clean and Staff was so Nice. I my Recommend you all. Beautiful Place. Thank you.

I absolutely loved the mutton briyani and gravy combo at this place! The flavors were exceptional and left me craving for more. The mutton briyani was undoubtedly the star of the show, with tender pieces of meat perfectly infused with aromatic spices. The accompanying gravy added a delightful depth to the dish, enhancing the overall experience. On the flip side, the boneless chicken was a bit underwhelming compared to the outstanding mutton briyani. While it wasn't bad, it didn't quite match up to the high standards set by the mutton dish. However, this minor setback won't deter me from revisiting solely for the incredible mutton briyani. The ambience and service were commendable, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment to enjoy the meal, except that supervisor guy. Despite the slight disappointment with the chicken, the mutton briyani has left a lasting impression, and I'm eagerly anticipating my next visit to relish that outstanding flavor once again.

Ordered Egg biriyani, mutton biryani, Gobi fried rice, fish finger 🤞 Egg biriyani and mutton biriyani with their kuruma was ultimate Gobi fried rice - mild spicy feels good taste fish finger - was very good. Slightly taste the raw smell..otherwise overall a good experience..

Pure taste of biriyani served in banana leaf. You can taste the different flavours, rice cooked to perfection and the chicken succulent. Quantity was also huge. Rush was seen in the restaurant.

It’s a pure non-veg hotel and no veg inside just saying cause It might be useful for someone. Parking might be tough for those who visit in car, 2 wheeler or by walk is better. Highly recommended😋

I know this place is famous for its biryani and non veg items but imagine being the only vegetarian amongst the non vegetarian gang. What does this place expect that the vegetarian should convert to non vegetarian? It would have been nice to atleast have 1 or 2 options of vegetarian food. If not atleast they could have some decency to accept us bringing food from outside and letting us have there, I came here with 3 other people who were all non vegetarian and they out right denied me from eating the dosa I had got for myself. I just sat there seeing others eat. I accept you should not allow everyone to eat outside food. But you can see there is a gang of 4 people just one is veg. You are getting revenue from 3 people who are eating your biryani right. Not a very nice behaviour by the owner to be so strict especially when it comes to denying someone who is hungry and make them watch others eat. I think I should be happy that they didn't ask me to get out saying you are vegetarian so don't occupy the seat without eating. Very disappointed with this kind of service. Their food maybe good but their attitude is not.

I loved the mutton briyani and mutton chukka combo at this place! The flavors were great and made me want more. The mutton briyani was the best, with tender meat and tasty spices. The gravy added depth to the dish. The white rice with chicken, mutton, and gravy was a fantastic non-veg meal along with prawn fry. The place had a nice atmosphere and good service for an enjoyable meal.

Super taste Chicken biryani.. N.. Chicken kulampu... Here they don't have grill or shawarma type foods.. Classic NON VEG HOTEL.. You will full your tummy.. One & only problem.. Heavy crowd at anytime you go here. Need more seats. But space is not enough.

A pure bliss for non veg lovers. The board inside the hotel "No Vegetarian" shows their standard. We can feel the real taste of salem region.

When I studied in salem i tired this hotel that time it was one of the best restaurant in salem, but not as same !! Good food, not able to say it's great or Unique in taste but a good one. Felt pricing is little bit high for chicken sukka -200 Parotta - 40 Plain dosa -70. ( Felt overrated because of YouTube reviewers) One time try

Great food - non veg. Have tried Vajaram fry, mutton liver and they did taste good. Biryani was decent for us but overall a place to recommend for non veg folks. Service was also good. Extremely busy place so plan accordingly, car parking on the road side as far as I saw but better to park elsewhere. Explore and enjoy eating.

If you are non veg lover and on budget then you will definitely like this place. Value for money is under statement. Once u start u will have so many options and definitely revisit to try more.. enjoy this

Selvi mess... Non-Veg - Food was very good. All the items we're very tasty and good on stomach & pocket. They have few branches in Salem town. Even at 07:00PM all the seats are occupied. They could have provided or serviced few tables, which was empty. Not Sure why those tables, were not serviced. Ambiance was ok. Neat & tidy. Restrooms Could have been kept cleaner. Easy access available, but parking a nuisance.. For Vegetarians, nothing is available. Sign board clearly mentions, this information.

Parking your car would be a big challenge. The road is narrow and thr is a high possibility u will get stuck in a jam. Once u get a table u can expect fantastic food and good service by courteous staff.

Mutton Briyani: very decent one with boiled egg. I went almost by 10.45 on their closing time, but they were treated with the same level of welcoming. Really amazing way of gesture to treat customers, and also, briyani was hot on that time.

I have tasted the food during the year 2008.After these years I got an opportunity to visit this mess to taste the food. Wow... Yummy food they are keeping the authentic taste forever. The difference is earlier they were in small shop, now without any change in the taste the newly built mess, ambience and the way the staff helping customer to get seated in the crowd time is much appreciated. Earlier after washing hands we use newspaper, now it's replaced with tissue papers. Again the food taste is outstanding, the cost as proportionate to these years. The street is unchanged with traffic issues. Even for small rain this gets flooded. People who travels through Salem, I recommend you to visit this mess once which is closer to the new bus stand.

The quality and pricing of the food is superb.. Quantity of biriyani could be improved a little. They provide a small plate biriyani which would cost you higher than usual. Reach the restaurant before 1pm for lunch else you need to wait for a long time to get seats. Environment is cleaner but the ambience of hotel is too noisy. Except biriyani varieties everything is worthy.

Biriyani served was just too good. I am a true biriyani fan and thi time i felt it as best i had in vizag. i tried special egg biriyani and butter chicken item.Excellent taste.
