The
mall
has
deteriorated
in
quality
and
in
quantity
of
shops
in
the
past
5-10
years~a
sign
of
the
times
as
online
shopping
becomes
more
popular
and
convenient
I
guess.
There
have
been
a
few
isolated
crime
incidents
here
in
the
past
5
years
involving
guns
also.
I
no
longer
go
to
this
mall
at
night,
even
if
there
is
something
I
need
urgently.
I'm
also
not
fond
of
the
layout-2
levels
and
sprawled
out.
There
are
no
longer
any
quality
sit
down
restaurants
here--just
typical
mall
food
court
take
out.
There
isnt
a
movie
theater
here,
but
there's
a
great
one
nearby
in
O'Fallon.
🤷♀️
The
current
anchor
stores
are
Macy's,
Dillard's
and
JC
Penny's.
Of
the
3,
Dillard's
is
the
best
as
far
as
customer
service,
high
quality
products,
and
variety.
JC
Penny's
is
a
close
second.
The
Macy's
at
this
mall
isn't
worth
your
time--it's
the
worst
I've
ever
been
to
in
terms
of
selection,
staff,
and
customer
service.
I
recommend
Macy's
in
St.
Louis
at
The
Galleria
and
also
at
West
County
Mall.
That
said,
there
is
a
strip
mall
next
door
with
good
stores
and
decent
restaurants(Red
Robin,
Talbots,
White
House
Black
Market,
Aveda
salon,
New
Balance,
Barnes
and
Noble,
Kirkland's
etc.)
