😠 Overpriced- 6 dollars for butter? No thanks. Also the GM (Hi mark! You're awful!) Is a piece of trash who thinks exploiting employees is ok. So not only are they charging that much for butter, that much is more than half what they pay their employees. Also why don't you call up the store and ask abo... This is the store nobody wants to go to, (or work at) but uses for convenience in a jam. Overpriced, customer service is pretty bad. They do wasteful things like package produce individually then call it a microwaveable potato or an apple to-go; all at an up charge of course. I asked for a basket instead of a cart and was told to get it from the customer service desk. Apparently it has to do with COVID safety. However I fail to see the logic. Giant Eagle only puts effort into their liquor licensed grocery stores and we get the scraps. Just go to Marc’s at least you get low quality at lower prices.

Not a fan of Giant Eagle. The self checkout registers wouldn't let you proceed without first scanning a loyalty card, which was weird.

So not only are they charging that much for butter, that much is more than half what they pay their employees. Also why don't you call up the store and ask about their three sick day policy? Because thats rational and humane for sure. Oh and be sure to double check because they WILL overfill your bags until they burst. Edit: the employees are the only saving grace of this place. They're sociable and kind. The same can not be said about management.

Diet grape soda unlike most stores. No VOSS water. Similar to Kroger. Clean.

Returning shopper since store revamp. Lovely, uber clean, bright and well appointed. The friendliest and most helpful employees I have the pleasure to encounter. Thank you Customer Service for saving my day. Great experience! Will now go out of my way to shop here.

Giant Eagle brand alkaline water on sale, buy 5- 6 packs of 1liter bottles and recieve $5 off. With such a sale you would think there would be an abundance of this product to meet the needs of daily customers. Unfortunately there is not even enough of this item for 1 person to take advantage of the potential savings. 4 on the shelf and was told 0 in the back stock. No discount at all, no rain check available, Why bother advertising this at all if it's obviously not available? Certainly not coming back every day to see if a shipment comes in. At least the employees tried to help. Also Fiji water 6 pack 1 liter bottles on sale, unfortunately 0 on the shelf in the isle labeled WATER. Found a liitle supply of this item several isles over next to the cold beverages without any sale advertisment 8/21/23

they really need to get rid of the sales people here that are trying to save you money on your electric or whatever. They stand by the dog food aisle. Really? I just want to grocery shop not be bothered with sales people.

My biggest complaint is the prices, yes they have a decent selection but my God I was in the hot food section looking at the prepard meals they had they had 2 pieces of grilled chicken cold priced at almost 14.00 dollars ,omg it was only 2 pieces no sides dri k nothing enough for one person, why because giant eagle cooked it in store put salt and pepper on it? U can get a whole package for that much, there 8 piece fried chicken around 9.00 dollars no sides and don't forget the most greasy over breaded cooked fish they make ,note this was like this way before covid and inflation, only came here cause I had two g e gift cards otherwise I would never shop here

I used to like Giant Eagle, but since they stopped giving you bags to take your groceries home in, they are my last choice for grocery shopping. To me, getting rid of the blue reusable bags is saying that Giant Eagle is cheap and greedy. What's next, bring your own shopping cart? I prefer to shop at a store that gives you a bag to take your stuff home in.

Got rid of plastic bags but you could purchase cheap paper bags for ten cents that are prone to rip every time.

I like this GE. It’s usually not too busy. The things I shop for are always in stock. I can get in & out rather quickly.

Very well stocked but I was disappointed in very little prepared foods. I was looking for a piece of fresh fish n there were NONE. There was nothing fresh even at the fish counter, actually there was not even a fish counter anymore. What will they do come Lent? So disappointing. Heinens had some beautiful fresh fish will have to go back there.

The retailers should be provided bags... at no charge ...at checkout. End of story. It is not sanitary to continuously reuse bags. If you do not use plastic, no problem, then supply customers paper at no charge.

I go to 3 of the Giant Eagle stores 2 do my shopping. The 117th store, Detroit Ave store in Lakewood and the Lorain Road Giant Eagle. This store is always stocked right away. I shopped with the red head 1 week ago and she bought all of the 10 for 10 frozen dinners and I went back the next day and they were stocked again. I bought 3 or 4 of them. So this store is good. It must b bigger because there are more products than any of the other stores. I do not like how cold it is in this store. It runs me out at times if I am in there 2 long because my sinuses act up. My only complaint

This place is rarely packed. But lately their meat department selection has kind of fallen off. However, the only reason I'm even leaving a review is because they got the Extra Crunchy Diablo Chicken Taquitos from El Monterey. Previously these could only be purchased at Meijers. I'm begging this giant eagle to keep them in stock. I would be a repeat purchaser once a month. And also try and bring your meat department back to offering the options it used to. And if you brought back baskets, that would be super cool as well. No need to get a whole cart when a basket is easier and more efficient.

Bought an item which was “on sale”. The sale price was not reflected at checkout. Notified a manager at the time but the issue was never corrected. Watch your receipts! Seems like just another money grab from big business.
