My family loves Goldfish Swim School. The staff is knowledgeable, compassionate, and goes above and beyond to make my children feel welcomed. I truly can not say enough wonderful things about the staff here. Water safety is extremely important to us and having our children at Goldfish puts our minds a little at ease. Goldfish is like home and one of our favorite days of the week! My children ask daily if it’s swim day yet! We wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!

James taking swimming lessons at this awesome school! Only 3 in his class. I see his fear gradually disappear as he is gently urged to do things in the water. He loves it! It helps that it is a class of boys. Teachers are awesome and patient. I love it there. Very clean and pleasant.

My twins have developmental delays although we felt strongly that they should have the chance to learn how to swim just like other kids. Unfortunately, I have had a terrible experience and do not recommend if your kids have delays. The manager called me stating “we can’t use up all of our staff” to accommodate my kids with delays. It’s a business transaction and they have no heart to help ALL kids learn how to swim. Will never be back. I would give them a 0.

When my daughter was a toddler, we brought her to an independently-owned & family-operated swim school and the months of classes there were traumatic for her. A few years later, at the suggestion of her BFF's parents, we decided to enroll her here even though they wouldn't be in class together. The patience and encouragement of the staff is remarkable. My daughter went from being unable to swim to enjoying it with confidence! She recently passed a swim test because our neighborhood requires children in the deep end to swim a lap which she crushed and had fun doing it! This is exceptional and I don't think anybody should expect it: Recently, Lynn saw that my daughter was unsure about a male teacher (her old swim school had a male teacher that'd force her head underwater) so took her into another lane. Thank you so very much!!! We're grateful for you Lynn! We have a Gold Fish that recently opened and it's 3 minutes away but we drive the 25 minutes to get to this one. The staff is friendly, the facility is well-run, the rooms are clean, the Covid protocol has been solid, and there's plenty of support here. We cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you!

I brought my daughter here because it's said that you can "Learn at your own pace". So imagine my shock when my daughter comes up to me afterwards telling me that the teacher (Named Abby) told her that she was horrible and that she would tell other students that they were better than her every week for over a month.Leaving my daughter in tears all because she was learning how to swim, in a school where they teach you how to swim. Never acceptable under any circumstance, especially to a child trying her best. Never recommend to anyone!

So wonderful! I’m not sure the girl at the front desk name but she was so kind and helpful making sure my kids and I were comfortable on our first day and even offered to carry our stuff for me (very rambunctious toddler in tow). So amazing and so much appreciated. Thank you!!

The area where kids set up the clothes bags, they should have something there or someone should be there to clean the place.this place gets wet all the time, and too many kids fall down in the area already.

The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. We came in the early afternoon on Sunday after many, many lessons and the staff was still energetic, positive, and engaged. The pool and showers (to rinse) are in a big, enclosed space with 'no more tears' shampoo. Lessons run every 30 min for the little ones, but people come in and out every 15, depending on the age and lessons. For the smallest, the instructors have little dolls they use to demonstrate what everyone is supposed to do. There is an impressive setup of changing rooms, bathrooms, and even a hair-drying station with a half-dozen blow dryers and vanity mirror for those with longer hair. Some of the restrooms have changing stations, which parents appreciate! Kids get a little toy/reward and a ribbon after each lesson as just another piece of positive reinforcement for kids who are getting used to swimming and can be afraid of the water at first. Overall, the place is excellent all around. The only questions you need to ask are: 1) do you want swimming lessons for your little?; And 2) is it in your price range. If the answer is "yes" to both, then don't even waste time shopping around.

A waste of money imo. There’s no goal setting when you start to determine what the child should be accomplishing. The classes consistently end early and the kids spend a lot of time sitting and watching. Out of the 30 minutes the class lasts he probably actually swims less than 5 min. After 7 weeks he doesn’t know how to tread water. I’m going to take him and teach him myself.

This place is a waste of money. The Whole30 minutes, she's just sitting there. Not learning The Thing she had 8 classes and still doesn't know how to swim. Yes, the teacher is very nice. But why am I spending a $110 on classes? Where she's not even learning how to swim. Then I go to cancel the classes and sign her up for something else. You gotta give him a 30 day notice that is bull. I'm paying you guys if I want to cancel the classes. I should have the right to cancel them

Each instructor at Goldfish Fairview is kind and works great with our children. Our children have made great progress! Goldfish Fairview is clean, well run, and my kids love going here!

My daughter is very comfortable learning how to swim here. She had a bad experience elsewhere and she was reluctant to get back into the water. She loves her instructor and looks forward to every weekly lesson!

I really enjoy taking my son here. The instructors are excellent and they give you a brief recap after every single lesson. A great place for a kid to learn to swim and for parents to keep up with their progress.

We love the staff at the Fairview Park Goldfish location. Ms. Laurie and Ms. Lynn are awesome. My kids are always excited to go to swim lessons. We have had many swim instructors that were great. However, Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Hannah have been my children's main instructors, and they are amazing. They bring out the best in their students. They always give feedback, with positive and things that they need to work on. We also enjoy the Family Swim benefit that is provided when you become a member. We love it there!

Very expensive, changed instructors a lot, loud and stressful. My child didn’t learn to completely swim after going to Many classes.

Clean, convenient, friendly environment! I'm watching my daughter make progress very quickly with her swim skills even at a young age. The amenities like showers, changing rooms, and hair drying station make it easy for us to stop in for lessons and continue on with our day! I also appreciate the ease of which we are able to reschedule when we are going to miss a lesson.

Goldfish offers a great swim program with teachers who are enthusiastic and clearly enjoy working with children. It is easy to schedule classes, and the ability to schedule make-ups is super convenient. The office staff is always happy to help. We have had a very positive experience and would highly recommend to anyone else looking for a swim program for their young child(ren).

My kids took 2 months of swim classes elsewhere and had ZERO progress. In only 5 lessons at Goldfish they can go underwater/not hold their nose under, float, starting to swim above and under water and understand safety techniques. I thought Goldfish was too expensive, but now I see you get what you pay for. I'm very happy with their progress!

I've been to other goldfish swim school, but this location is just amazing! The staff are professional and friendly. The place is always clean! Great experience honestly. My kids are so excited to go always.

Super friendly instructors. My son has fun every time we go. He's only 19 months and has been attending since he was 12 months. I don't know if he's actually learning to swim at this point, but he's comfortable in the pool, he used to be terrified to go in the pool.

All of the instructors and staff are super friendly and helpful. My little fish was having a hard time reaching level 2, but they took time to coach him. When he finally completed all the manuevers for Level 1, they roared and cheered for him. He felt so special and proud of himself. This has helped so much with his self esteem. Thanks for all the work you all do for our kids.

We had a wonderful experience at Goldfish Swim School. Ethan's confidence level in the pool has excelled. He would still be there if we were still babysitting him, but his mother is a teacher and is off for the summer and will be entering kindergarten this September.„

Classes are very fun for my 17 month old, and she has really improved already in her skills and water tolerance. I can already see how these skills will build on each other so that she can eventually learn to swim, but I also really am thankful for the safety aspect of teaching them the basics of floating, reaching for edge of pool etc.

This is a clean facility, water is warm. However, it’s been a disappointing experience so far. The major complaint I have is lack of consistence here. For the last one year we’ve been here, there was literally no consistence of instructors. We were threw into different instructors almost every other week. I talked to the front desk manager Laura about it and specifically requested to be in Adam’s class because I feel he is the right fit for my child. 2 weeks later, we were instructed to another instructor and more kids in that class without any update or explanations. When I asked, the explanation was “ we combined the class due to other reasons”. It would be nice if there was any communication between school and parents. We decided to discontinue our class here bc of the inconsistency and poor communication.

We LOVE Goldfish! All of my kids take lessons here and every week I see improvements. They are a little pricey but you also get what you pay for. My twins have been taking lessons a little over a month now and we see INCREDIBLE improvements and growth in just over a month. My oldest has been going 3 years and she has become such a strong swimmer. We definitely recommend this place to anyone who is wanting to get their children enrolled in swim lessons. You won't regret it!
