My review is long overdue as we went back in August. We had a blast on the Tobias Culebra Power Boat excursion. This was the highlight of our trip. The staff was very friendly, attentive and professional. Lunch, snacks and drinks are included, but make sure you have breakfast. Punch included and you can also purchase beer or other beverages for a decent price.

We had a blast today! The Captain took us snorkeling for about an hour. It was an amazing experience! Then we ate lunch that they provided and headed over to swim at Culebra! The water was so clear! They played music for us while we swam in the ocean, they served us unlimited drinks! We would definitely go back on this tour!

So after reading the negative reviews I must say we lucked out and were able to catch them on a good day then I guess. Our speed boat tour went on as planned even with a freaking marathon going on through the city and streets being closed. Even with that they called and gave us an alternative pick up point located a block away to pick us up for transport to the marina in Fajardo which is about 40 mins away. Once there everything still went very smooth except for the boat ride lol. The check in and directions from the staff were great! Again if you've never been on a boat, or been on a boat it choppy waters, then I suggest you take some dramamine, motrin, or zofran for nausea if you've got it. It was a very bumpy 45 mins-55 mins ride out there. Coming back it wasn't as bad as you are not going against the rough seas. But man once there and you see the waters the ride becomes an after thought. I will say this is it's definitely some of the nicest and crystal clear blue waters I have seen however it doesn't top the water in Turks and Caicos just for a reference. The snorkeling here was way better than Turks and Caicos though as we saw A LOT of fish! We kept our fingers crossed for sea turtles but none were around. The staff were all friendly, accommodating, and full of energy. They served pina colada, rum punch, and sodas. Beer was available but to purchase only. The lunch they served was decent just your normal sandwich with chips. After snorkeling the reef for about an hour and a half they then take you to Flamenco beach for another 2 hours before it's time to head back. Only reason I left off a star was for the music they played on the boat it was way too loud! Like zero bass and all treble and it pierced our eardrums at times lol. Like seriously the music hurting our ears was worse then the boat ride and that's saying a lot lol. Either way I'd still book another tour with this company the next time were in PR.

I must say after reading the bad reviews I feel bad, however I suppose you can say we got lucky. It was expected to rain 90% the day of the tour & the morning of- it was pouring rain. However we still decided to drive out and we were told the day before via text that the tour is still ON. If you know Puerto Rico well, the weather is always changing. Rains 10 minuets then it’s hot and 90 degrees out. It stopped raining & some sun came out. Check in was easy, and within 25 minuets we were already getting onto the boat. Juan, Gio & Jeremy were our guys for the boat excursions (No me recuerdo sus nombres exactamente) lol The ride was bumpy windy and a fun experience if you don’t get sea sick and I sat on the top. We did the snorkeling, not much instructions I suppose it’s self explanatory but there were lots of jellyfish and they said to be careful and snorkel at your own risk. I saw the beautiful 🪸 and clear water. Then we went to Flamenco Beach. They gave us a bit of history about the beach & then gave us drinks. You can keep an open tab if interested and pay at the end. We were there for like 2 hours or so If my timing is right. We left at 1:30 pm. Pictures don’t do it justice check them out

The crew was so awesome and not to mention extremely sexy😍 we had the catamaran tour and went to icaicos Island, they had endless delicious drinks, we saw jellyfish stingrays angelfish and amazing underwater coral reefs. They have a restroom in the bottom of the boat and offer a sandwich anytime throughout the day. The island has a lot of really cool seashells as well.

Amazing tour! Must go with your family and friends. The crew and the captain were very attentive. We went to culebra Island for a 1-hour boat ride, and we stopped by the coral reef to do some snorkeling.

I honestly can’t say enough how amazing the crew, the captain, and Culebra was! This was the best day trip I’ve ever been on and 100% get your money worth. From the captain slowing down on our way to and from the island to see the whales and just how much fun we were able to have on and off the boat. If I could do this trip again I definitely would. You know it’s a great trip if I’m leaving a review because I rarely ever do 😂

Although the weather was not in our favor, the captain did a formidable job at taking us to the best spots possible for snorkeling. The crew was just purely fun and awesome keeping everyone entertained and safe. Highly recommend to anyone looking for good snorkeling with a beautiful fun boat ride! I just want to thank the staff one more time for such a great experience!!! Keep up the good work!

My family of six had an outstanding experience on our recent tour on the SS Tobias. The crew, led by Captain Benji, was exceptionally helpful and friendly and ensured our safety. The also continually ensured we had food and drink to, from, and while at each stop. The coral reef they took us to was spectacular and they gave great advice on what to see and where to see it. Our time at Flamenco Beach was perfect. We had plenty of time to enjoy the water and beach complete with a floating bar. Because it was smaller than some of the larger catamarans, I felt we had a more personalized experience. I would highly recommend this company for your Culebra tour.

We can’t say enough about this company and crew, they were completely awesome and it was by far the favorite thing we did the whole week we were there. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great tour. If you’re looking for a boat or snorkel tour, you’re doing yourself a disservice if you pick anyone other then Tobias.

The speed boat ride is a bit rough getting there but coming back was better. The crew is really attentive and very helpful to us (the non swimmers) which they helped get to the side of the beach. We went snorkeling for the first time and it was fun. Flamengo Beach is stunning with beautiful blue, clear waters perfect for swimming. The only reason for giving it a 4 star is because I was disappointed that we were only allowed one hour of beach time. It would have been perfect if we could have stayed longer there since that was the purpose of the trip. Aside from that I would highly recommend.

Definitely recommend! Though it was too choppy to do Culebra as we'd booked, they let us know our options in advance, and we didn't regret sticking with them for a trip to Icacos (closer island). Captain Gio and the rest of the crew (so sorry, can't remember your names!) made sure we had a fantastic day with extra beach time and not one, but two snorkeling spots (including recommendations for where to swim for the best chance of seeing sea turtles, which we did)! Easily one of the highlights of our trip!

We had an amazing experience! Everything was perfect! The crew, the weather, food, drinks… If you’re thinking about, just do it! I love this trip so much! Thank you guys for the wonderful experience! See you all soon!

Wonderful crew! Kept us safe by avoiding areas with bad swells. Also very informative about the reefs that we snorkeled.

This was one of the best moves my partner and I could’ve made for our trip. Everything went smooth from asking questions on the phone to making our reservations. The crew took us out for a boat ride to lovely Culebras. If you get sea sick quick, I recommend bring some type of candy since it’s an hour drive to Culebra. The staff made sure we were all safe and knew what to expect. It’s very sunny so bring a hat and sunblock because you will get a tan!!! Also eat a light breakfast before hand. I highly suggest buying your own snorkeling glasses. The shoes you can use from this location. Once we got to Culebra, the staff lended us their equipment to snorkel. Try to snorkel and enjoy the water for as long as you can.The water was so beautiful and felt like a dream. We saw so many different fishes and coral. Also stay away from the coral since it’s very pointy and you can get hurt. There’s a ton of open clear water for you to explore. They serve you drinks and food which was 9/10! I had so much fun I would love to go back!

We had an amazing trip with the crew of the Traveler. The day was a bit windy but we had so much fun with our group of 4 kids and 4 adults. The slide was so much fun and the vibe was relaxed and friendly. Efraín was a joy to talk to and he kept the rum drinks coming. El Capitan Benjamin was attentive with an eye on our safety at all times. The rest of the crew were also helpful and kind. The music was loud and and fun but not overwhelming. Thanks for helping to make some great memories for our family. WEPA!!

The crew was exceptional. I'm older and was hesitant about going but they were great. The water was blue and so beautiful. My granddaughter went snorkeling for the first time. The trip was well worth it from the reservation process, transportation to the excursion.

This was such a fun way to spend a day in Puerto Rico! Highly recommend the Culebra boat tour!! It was some of the best snorkeling I’ve ever done, plus Flamenco beach is a must see. The crew was very nice and the piña coladas were tasty! Only advice I have is to be sure to wear sunscreen! The boat ride is pretty rough/windy (but fun) so your usual hats, coverups might not be as helpful since they could fly away. Even the back of my hand got burnt from gripping the rail on the way there (the ride is really that bouncy on the upper deck but more importantly, I don’t burn that easily).
