We
stayed
4
nights
half
board,
comfort
double
room,
first
week
of
October.
We
booked
direct
on
hotels
website
which
meant
there
was
no
extra
charge
for
using
WiFi
or
the
in
room
safe.
At
the
time
we
paid
€145
per
night
inc
half
board.
We
were
given
a
lovely
checking
out
gift
&
complimentary
cake
&
sparkling
wine
in
the
room
to
celebrate
my
partners
birthday.
Weather
was
just
perfect.
The
room:
We
stayed
on
4th
floor
in
a
comfort
double,
which
I
gather
means
newer
furnishings
and
renovated
bathroom.
Views
of
the
sea
and
sunset
were
excellent
and
we
could
even
see
the
5*
hotel
next
door
entertainment
from
our
balcony.
The
bathroom
was
newly
refurbished
and
the
shower
was
excellent.
There
was
plenty
of
space
in
the
room
for
two
people,
with
a
small
fridge
and
safe
&
plenty
room
for
clothes.
The
room
was
clean
on
arrival
and
romantically
decorated
for
my
partners
birthday
which
was
appreciated.
The
doors
are
showing
signs
on
age
and
need
to
be
replaced,
they
have
been
poorly
painted
over
and
flaking
bits
of
paint
kept
falling
off
the
bathroom
door
and
they
are
very
hollow,
need
insulated
doors
that
provide
sound
insulation.
The
room
was
air
conditioned
but
there
is
no
way
of
controlling
the
temperature,
we
felt
the
aircon
wasn’t
cold
enough,
leaving
the
room
very
humid.
The
staff:
Super
friendly
&
very
courteous
and
helpful
especially
the
housekeeping
staff,
did
an
excellent
job.
All
staff
seem
to
speak
German
and
English
to
reflect
the
guests
staying.
The
other
guests:
Nearly
all
other
guests
were
elderly
Germans
&
Austrians,
which
I
had
no
problem
with
except
many
were
hesitant
to
share
the
lift,
which
did
cause
some
wait
times
as
there
are
only
two
lifts
on
each
wing
of
the
hotel.
The
Food:
We
ate
3
evenings
and
exchanged
one
of
the
dinners
for
lunch.
The
meal
on
the
nights
were
ok,
I
wouldn’t
say
it
was
worth
the
extra
for
half
board
and
it
is
cheaper
to
eat
in
nearby
restaurant
where
the
food
can
be
ordered
to
suit
your
tastes
for
the
evening.
The
menu
on
our
last
night
was
the
most
disappointing,
strange
combinations
and
not
very
well
presented
or
cooked.
The
lunch
offering
was
quite
a
bit
of
leftovers.
Breakfast
was
very
much
the
same
in
terms
of
hot
food,
there
was
some
strange
offerings
like
cooked
vegetables
in
the
hot
sections,
who
wants
boiled
baby
corn
for
breakfast!?
The
orange
cordial
in
lieu
of
concentrate
or
fresh
juice
was
a
let
down.
Coffee
was
excellent,
however
only
filter
coffee
available
and
served
at
your
table
by
waiting
staff.
There
were
a
few
times
where
cutlery,
plates
&
bowls
were
dirty
or
full
of
water
I.e
not
dried
on
the
buffet.
Staying
half
board
means
only
glass
of
tap
water
is
included
with
your
meals.
Drinks
were
quite
expensive.
The
dessert
/
cold
section
of
the
buffet
needs
rethinking
as
it
causes
many
blockages
with
the
amount
of
guests
accessing
this
area.
The
resort:
Location
is
excellent
well
positioned
close
to
the
town
and
all
the
restaurants
and
facilities.
You
can
literally
walk
2mins
to
purchase
supplies
or
go
for
a
meal
or
snack
in
very
good
restaurants.
Plenty
of
undercover
parking
for
rental
cars.
The
amount
of
sun
beds
is
great,
plenty
poolside
or
beachside
and
plenty
in
the
shade
if
that’s
your
thing,
no
need
to
reserve
one
early
morning,
despite
many
of
the
other
tourists
doing
so.
But
the
grassy
area
for
sun
beds
is
in
a
great
beachfront
location
so
no
need
to
hire
a
beach
sun
bed
for
€10
the
day.
The
resort
is
a
little
dated
and
the
corridors,
room
doors
desperately
need
updating.
The
hallways
are
very
dark
and
clinical.
The
entertainment
wasn’t
great
and
as
such
we
only
watched
it
briefly
from
our
balcony.
Would
I
stay
here
again?
Probably
not,
mainly
for
the
fact
we
didn’t
enjoy
the
breakfast
and
would
have
paid
extra
for
a
more
modern
hotel
and
not
paid
for
the
half
board
had
we
know
how
poor
the
quality
of
food
was.
I
can
see
why
this
place
is
attractive
for
elderly
clientele,
however
for
younger
people
I
would
look
for
somewhere
more
contemporary.
