The best hotel I’ve ever been to! Very child friendly, there is a huge playground, a children’s pool, an animation program and a mini disco! The hotel team speaks german and english (fluently!). Take some shoes (not flip-flops!) with you to the beach, the sand can burn your feet pretty easily. They have their own souvenir shop and a ginormous buffet with foods from all over the world. Full moon is a special occasion in this place and gets celebrated with a fancy dinner, music and traditional dancing! If you want to use a deck chair, you’ll have to wake up quite early and place a bath towel on it, so others see it’s taken! (Some of the other tourists place their towels on the deck chairs as early as seven o’clock in the morning!!)

Hotel facilities, pool bars etc are good, was lied to by reception who said they would get their maintenance people to fix the air-conditioning and found out later the hotel had turned the AC off for the whole hotel the previous day (1st November) and didn't consider the weather was still hot. Rooms are very old and dated and in bad need of refurbishment. One man on reception was very rude from the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out.. The rest of the staff were very good, especially the restaurant staff. The food was OK but never great. We won't be coming back.

Advice for younger visitors - keep in mind, that this hotel is mainly German elderly people, so you won't be getting "party never ends" kind of vibe. BUT a have no complaints about the hotel, rooms are good, air conditioning works perfectly, pool is simple but not to crowded, enough sunbeds on the grass area, staff is friendly. Food is repetetive but good, and i suggest taking "all inclusive" option, we did not take it regreted it.

One of the best hotels around there. The hotel has nice facilities and it is very close to the beach. The staff are helpful and always happy and polite. There is a big variety of food, fruits and desserts for breakfast and dinner. Every night, there is an event from ' greek traditional night' to a 'dance night'. The place has also plenty facilities for children, its good for families.

We stayed 4 nights half board, comfort double room, first week of October. We booked direct on hotels website which meant there was no extra charge for using WiFi or the in room safe. At the time we paid €145 per night inc half board. We were given a lovely checking out gift & complimentary cake & sparkling wine in the room to celebrate my partners birthday. Weather was just perfect. The room: We stayed on 4th floor in a comfort double, which I gather means newer furnishings and renovated bathroom. Views of the sea and sunset were excellent and we could even see the 5* hotel next door entertainment from our balcony. The bathroom was newly refurbished and the shower was excellent. There was plenty of space in the room for two people, with a small fridge and safe & plenty room for clothes. The room was clean on arrival and romantically decorated for my partners birthday which was appreciated. The doors are showing signs on age and need to be replaced, they have been poorly painted over and flaking bits of paint kept falling off the bathroom door and they are very hollow, need insulated doors that provide sound insulation. The room was air conditioned but there is no way of controlling the temperature, we felt the aircon wasn’t cold enough, leaving the room very humid. The staff: Super friendly & very courteous and helpful especially the housekeeping staff, did an excellent job. All staff seem to speak German and English to reflect the guests staying. The other guests: Nearly all other guests were elderly Germans & Austrians, which I had no problem with except many were hesitant to share the lift, which did cause some wait times as there are only two lifts on each wing of the hotel. The Food: We ate 3 evenings and exchanged one of the dinners for lunch. The meal on the nights were ok, I wouldn’t say it was worth the extra for half board and it is cheaper to eat in nearby restaurant where the food can be ordered to suit your tastes for the evening. The menu on our last night was the most disappointing, strange combinations and not very well presented or cooked. The lunch offering was quite a bit of leftovers. Breakfast was very much the same in terms of hot food, there was some strange offerings like cooked vegetables in the hot sections, who wants boiled baby corn for breakfast!? The orange cordial in lieu of concentrate or fresh juice was a let down. Coffee was excellent, however only filter coffee available and served at your table by waiting staff. There were a few times where cutlery, plates & bowls were dirty or full of water I.e not dried on the buffet. Staying half board means only glass of tap water is included with your meals. Drinks were quite expensive. The dessert / cold section of the buffet needs rethinking as it causes many blockages with the amount of guests accessing this area. The resort: Location is excellent well positioned close to the town and all the restaurants and facilities. You can literally walk 2mins to purchase supplies or go for a meal or snack in very good restaurants. Plenty of undercover parking for rental cars. The amount of sun beds is great, plenty poolside or beachside and plenty in the shade if that’s your thing, no need to reserve one early morning, despite many of the other tourists doing so. But the grassy area for sun beds is in a great beachfront location so no need to hire a beach sun bed for €10 the day. The resort is a little dated and the corridors, room doors desperately need updating. The hallways are very dark and clinical. The entertainment wasn’t great and as such we only watched it briefly from our balcony. Would I stay here again? Probably not, mainly for the fact we didn’t enjoy the breakfast and would have paid extra for a more modern hotel and not paid for the half board had we know how poor the quality of food was. I can see why this place is attractive for elderly clientele, however for younger people I would look for somewhere more contemporary.

When we arrived as a family in the evening I was worried as the receptionist (older gentleman) was not very welcoming and took a while to get our rooms and first impressions were… oh no! I believe he knew we were left uneasy as he allowed us to have free Wi-Fi for the week for all the rooms. This would of been 15 euros per room for two devices for the week and we had three rooms. So was left appreciative of the gesture, but should it not be free? On entering the rooms, they are a little dated, but was clean and everything that you would need. Beds were on the firmer side, but I like that. The housekeeping was spot on and always kept nice daily. Two things stick out that was disappointing is 18 euros for use of the Safe, this should be free and this is the first time I’ve experienced a cost for security in your room? Secondly was the Air Con or lack of! We did go down and speak to reception and (Yasmina) explained that it would be looked at in all three rooms we had. We then found out from the elder gent at reception that the Air Con is off?! Temperature was Avg 25 but would drop only to 18-19 at night, room temp was around 21-22 and was just hot at night and would of been nice for people that like it cooler at night. At reception we found that Yasmina was just plain rude and even raised her voice at myself when asking for some table tennis balls 😂 The elder gent came to the hotels rescue and brought two table tennis balls to us, as I think he was embarrassed by his colleagues behaviour. The grounds are lovely and a lot of care goes into looking after it all. The beach is lovely and the clearest sea I’ve ever seen. The food was hit and miss and the drink menu for all inclusive very basic and could do with more options, as a lot of the popular cocktails and drink brands you have to pay for. The kids did take advantage of the pizza and waffles and this was the highlight. The bar staff and restaurant workers were very polite and attentive. It has a lot of potential, but is just spoilt in some areas, but nothing that could not be resolved with training and expenditure in areas. I would not recommend this holiday destination as it currently stands, which is a shame.

The location and outside facilities are nice. However the room was extremely dated and required renovation. The food was of extremely poor quality and preparing without any love. Unfortunately most glasses and cutlery were not cleaned properly. Despite having breakfast and dinner included, we had the majority of our meals at other restaurants. The staff tried there best, however there were too few to handle the insane volume of tasks.

We arrived on vacation in July at the all-inclusive Apollo Hotel. The hotel is big, clean, the staff treated everyone well. The food was very tasty and there was very good service from the waiters. The rooms were very clean and spacious. And a bonus that the location is central. We had a great time, highly recommended!

Spent 5 nights here, all inclusive. Food was good with a great selection at breakfast and dinner. Snack bar open most of the day too. Pool side bar open all day with a good range of drinks available. Room starting to it’s age with the bathroom due a refurb. Friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel was very clean, there was people constantly cleaning around the pool and in all common areas. There was plenty of loungers and direct access to the beach, it was quite busy during our stay but we always managed to get loungers by the pool and I’d think there would be more than enough to facilitate everyone even in peak season throughout the hotel. Great location in Faliraki, not the prettiest town and not much happening in April but lots of friendly people throughout. Buffet dinner was good, not many meat options and a bit repetitive, some chicken nuggets or burgers occasionally would have been a nice kid friendly option had they been available, desserts were great though. Stayed half board and swapped dinner for lunch one day but it was a bit underwhelming, basically a smaller dinner offering, wouldn’t like to be eating lunch and dinner on the same day. We usually just bought pizzas and gyros from the snack bar for lunch instead, pizzas were very tasty as were the waffles and crepes available there also. Throughout the hotel the staff were lovely, at the pool bar, snack bar, restaurant and the lifeguard, a couple of the older men working on reception weren’t overly friendly but nothing to complain about.

Hotel is quite luxurious on the famous and large Faliraki beach. Good location and close to many restaurants and bars. The bus stop is right next to the hotel and it's only 15 minutes to the capital. The staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel restaurant is very nice. The food is very tasty and varied. Excellent desserts and wines too. Still enough fruits and vegetables. Nice outdoor and large indoor pool with warm water 30-31°C. Quite a lot of older Germans. The evening program is average, probably adapted to older people. Sunbeds by the beach on a nice green lawn, but not directly on the beach. You have to pay €6/person/day fór sunbed right on the beach. The cleaners are cheerful, but very noisy early in the morning.

Good location. Nice clean hotel overall. Lovely grassy grounds and beach a few steps away. Bathroom a big disappointment. Shower in middle of bath with taps and soap dish attached on wall with curtain behind. All a bit cramped as bath is not very wide. Shower head thick with limescale and rust around bath plug with enamel chipped off. Water power quite low. This hotel's holidaymakers were mainly german and you could be forgiven that you felt like you was on holiday in Germany and not Greece. Entertainment was a couple of times a week. Saturday (the main night) no entertainment at all. Town close by. Bus stop just outside of hotel. A bit confusing of bus signs. Wanted to book some excursions, but no representative on site. Can book on telephone, but not paying for wi-fi stops you doing this. This is the first hotel I have ever been asked to pay for wi-fi. Have to pay room tax per night and have to pay for security safe. Side sea view. In some rooms quite hard to see the sea from the balconies. All depends how close or far your room is. Would not return. Have been to better places.

We had a great experience here. Starting with the food (halfoard). We are kind of finicky when it comes to food, but it was not the case here. There is a great variety of food, for all tastes. The chef and the rest of the team really know what they are doing (and we have seen many hotels). We ate here every single night. For lunch you can have pizza, souvlaki which are also good. Oh, and the sweets. Delicious! All the employees do their job excellent, with a smile on their face (especially the very nice blonde lady that is in charge for the terrace by the pool, who remembers everyone and their preferences, which we think is remarkable considering the hotel has +400 rooms). The rooms were cleaned daily. There is enough space in the room. The only thing that we would change is the bathroom door, which is kind of old, and will be changed probably. The entertainment was great, and not disturbing everyone in the hotel and around (unlike the hotel next to Apollo). The reception's staff behaviour was impecable. The supermarket at ground floor saved us a lot of trips and money, because they have very good prices. Rental cars have good prices and insurance, if you book at the reception. The sunbeds on grass are an excellent idea, it does not get that hot as on the sand. Also they are not vey close to each other so you can move them around as you want.

We had a wonderful time at Apollo Beach, really appreciated the convenience of everything and could not find a fault. The personnel was really welcoming and helpful, the rooms were well equipped and comfortable, the beach and lounge area very nice and not crowded.

Most things are good at this hotel so I will just note what we didn't like and definitely needs improving: restaurant/bars were understaffed and for all inclusive you had to ask and wait a long time to get a drink. The rooms were a bit dated and the pillows were really uncomfortable.

A very relaxing week. excellent hotel services. All the hotel staff are very pleasant. The hotel and rooms are very clean. Always helpful service. The food is excellent, overall the all-inclusive services are trouble-free. Excellent space on the grass with deckchairs and umbrellas in close proximity to the sea. The sea is warm and clean. Thank you for the days well spent and we will be happy to come back again.

Better than expected, food is really good quality with a very good choice for both evenings and breakfast. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable bedroom made up daily. Access to the beach is really good. Two sun beds and an umbrella €20, a bit more than Spain but we love the beach so are prepared to pay.

It was clean and spacious. A little bit old furniture for my taste but the room has the 4 stars standards. The bathroom does not have a bathtub and you spoil water all over the bathroom but it does not matter so much. Everything was perfect in rest from the cleanliness services to the facilities the hotel offers. The main problem for us was the fact that they gave us a car for rent that has almost no gas and we were so close to being trapped on the road. Next time please refill before giving it to the customer.

It’s a good hotel for the price , if you are expecting luxury; it’s certainly not and it is a bit dated . However it’s spotlessly clean and the location is fantastic , if you are not paying a lot of your stay , it’s a great choice , I’d recommend it

Great hotel. Rooms are good but not quite 5 stars. The service was good. The best for me was the amazing food and the massive selection at every meal time.

The hotel is nice but kinda old, not brought to the standards. All the extra services comes with a cost. The food is great, nice evening program and very good drinks at the bar.

I highly recommend this hotel! I recently stayed here for 10 days and loved every moment. The hotel itself is very clean and rooms are comfortable with lovely views. The food is excellent with lots of choice in the main restaurant, but the best part is definitely the snack bar around the pool, they do the most amazing pizzas and gyros. Staff were also very friendly, specifically Chris from animation who always made the afternoons fun and made a great effort to ensure everybody had the best holiday possible. The location of the hotel is perfect - the beach is right there, and also lots of bars/restaurants/shops right on your doorstep. Overall a great experience, and I’m looking forward to visiting again very soon! Thank you Apollo Beach!

Very nice hotel with perfect service. Large rooms and no stress with sunbeds: There are more of them than guests, so german guests can relax. And you will meet there no drunken Brits.

Nice experience at this hotel, the beach first of all is excelent. Food is good, lots of options. They can improve a little bit the serving at dinner , sometimes on peek hours is hard to find an empty table.

We visited Apollo Beach with large family, so in addition to 6 adults we had teens and two 5 yo and a 1 y old boy. Everyone had their things to do. Walking to the Faliraki city, swimming in sandy beach or at big pool or even at small pool for little kids. Food was also according to our taste (lamb meat, seafood), many local foods and something for kids too. Even alcohol is bit better than in other all-in's. Best thing was outdoor snack bar where you can find pizza, waffels, icecream, pancakes etc. And finally, people. Piia at the snack bar, what a wonderful person. Then the cleaning ladies, polite and always happy. Chris from the entertainment team was also the most positive guy! Thank you, Apollo Beach!
