I lived in the area for 3yrs before trying these guys. Excellent pizza, best I've had in the area so far. Very tomato forward sauce, and you can tell everything is super fresh. Thin, crispy, not a whole lot of flop on the pizza. This will be my new go to spot for pizza for sure. Update: If you order the pizza well done, it takes it to another level. Phenomenal pizza.

Tried out Delorenzo's The Burg Pizza for Pizza Friday. Service was great here. Got a large chicken Parm pie. It tasted alright. Nothing stood out that much. It was kind of dry. The ricotta was an odd inclusion. It doesn't seem necessary. I think it would be better without it. Couldn't really taste or see Parm anywhere on the pie. The chicken was pretty good. Genuine Parm. The sauce was good too. But I Felt like there wasn't enough cheese. The bottom was toasted well. The crust was super dry. The dough must be very low in moisture. It's decent but I'd definitely go for a different specialty pie here. 5.8 / 10. I tried the plain and I think it was better than the Parm. It was actually really good. Sauce and cheese ratio was on point. Sauce had lots of flavor. 7.5 / 10.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting the food excellent, pizza is thin and crispy the way I like it. Staff attentive. Not your typical pizza place much better! Enjoy!

Food was very good and the prices were reasonable. Great service and a relaxed ambiance with lots of recorded history of the place. Custom pizza: pep, mush, chicken. Spaghetti and meatballs were good! Canoli was amazing! It's a thinner filling but extremely good!

Their service and their tasty tomato pie are everything you could want when you dine out for pizza. Love the atmosphere of classic oldies music, tasty sodas, love the staff, and last but not least, love that tomato pie. A very welcoming and great team there! The food and experience was certainly worth the drive!

The burg use to be our favorite affordable spot… the staff is excellent ! The menu has changed a few times.. now you can not get a half of platter.. but when I ordered my order “came as what use to be a half a platter but for the whole platter price everything is always garlic … Crazy; not very affordable anymore. Cook time takes longer restaurant is extremely warm inside. I understand cost have gone up but there have almost doubled while portions went smaller. I appreciate ur quick response

Would love to review the food but unfortunately we couldn’t even get a drink. There were only about 8 tables occupied and at least 6 waitresses working (or should I say standing around talking to each other). We were seated by a waitress and there we sat for 15 minutes waiting for someone to come to our table. Waitresses were all around us asking others if they needed anything but not even a “be right with you” from any of them for us. Very disappointed for my first time visiting. Heard they have good food but I don’t think we will be going back any time soon.

I'll start by saying that I'm not a pizza fan. With that, I love delorenzos! Flavors are great, product is fresh and prices are fair. We even ordered for a birthday party and it was perfect!

I have to say the service is the real winner here. Hands down the friendliest place I've been to. Randomly ordered from here today because I started working near by and was looking for a good pizza spot. When I came to pick up my pizza, the girl at the front desk was super nice and the place looked great. Then the chef brought out my pizza and said " I just cut this up and it's a good one, you're going to enjoy this". Then walked me out and held the doors for me to make sure I didn't drop it and thanked me again for stopping in. Just felt so genuine and like a place that takes pride in what they do. Now the pizza, the pizza was so fresh. I could taste the fresh tomatoes used in their sauce. Thin crust with a great undercarriage and no flop. Overall an amazing experience. If you're in the area, stop in. If you're not, take the drive. Thanks for the great food guys!

Seriously the best pizza! (If you like a thin and crispy crust - it’s “Trenton style” aka the best type of pizza! Similar to New Haven, CT style if you’re not from jersey/philly). I sadly moved about an hour away and have not been able to find pizza even remotely close to this. I’ve been spoiled with DeLorenzos the burg! Seriously considering buying it in bulk and freezing the pies so I don’t have to keep eating the subpar pizza in my area….

Arrived here on a Saturday night with 6 other people with no reservations and we were accommodated immediately. I ordered brushetta as an app and Penne di Carlo as my entree. The brushetta had a good flavor, but the bread got soggy, which made the pieces hard to pick up without falling apart. The penne in my entree was cooked perfectly al dente and the sausage was really tasty. It just tasted like it was missing something. The restaurant filled up pretty quickly, so I highly recommend reservations if visiting on a Saturday night.

Grew up on Trenton Tomato Pies. That being said I think "The Berg" is by far the best tasting of all. My husband loves "The Works" pie and sometimes when you but so much stuff on the pie the bottom crust can be soggy but the pie was crispy on the bottom with just the right amount of char on the crust..........perfect!
