Great location and friendly family. The room is a bit old and I couldn’t sleep well. Plus, I insisted to pay in Euro (because Monzo Bank doesn’t charge foreign exchange fee), however they still converted it to British pounds without asking me. And their bank was using a ridiculous exchange rate (1:1 euro - pounds). So in the end, though it’s supposed to be €64 for 2 nights, I got charged £64! Effectively I lost £11 just because of their mistake.

Really lovely little hotel, it's filled with amazing antique bits. Such a nice couple that own the hotel who make you welcome from the moment you arrive. Rooms are clean. Great breakfast with tea served from fab teapots!! Also a perfect position to walk around the walled city, so park your car when you arrive and don't get back in until you leave!!

It's the second time we stayed here. It's a very nice hotel in the center of Famagusta. The owners are very friendly and helped us with the planning of our trips. Would recommend everyone to go for Altun Tabya Hotel.

We were there in November, for that low rate it was very good service. And the owner are super friendly and helpful. But the sleep comfort is horrible.

Very nice place in the core old city of Famagusta. Friendly owners speaking good English. Rooms rather old fashion but air condition worked well. Good breakfast!

The best hotel if you want to breathe the historic air of the Famagusta Castle. Cozy and friendly owners. I strongly recommend this family owned place.

Nice hotel located in historic famagusta within the castle wall. Walking distance to all the historic sites within the famagusta wall. The owners are very helpful. One of the owners Selket is a writer and scholar and can tell you all about cyprus and famagusta history; Lusignan, venetian, Genoese, Ottoman and the war of 1974. There is a library next door with books in English about Cyprus etc.

Perfectly located hotel in Famagusta. Hospitality is perfect and hotel room was very very clean.

Charged full price, and only then told that there is no breakfast, even it was on booking’s description. Mattress and everything else is beaten up and old. Good location.
