What an amazing place. Time stopped in 1974. There are wrecked buildings and large holes in others. Most buildings are in tact. Although you cannot go in the buildings there are still signs visible. One building advertises Color Film processing and that they take old style Diners Club credit cards. It's very surreal. It's well worth a few hours. You can pay to be taken around in a golf cart, you can rent a bike, you can rent scooters, or you can just walk around. What a cool place to go.

this beach is very beautiful, reminds me of Maldives style. beware, it is only reachable on foot or by bike. bicycle can be rented at the entrance, cheap price, but in bad shape :) going on foot is a bit far, can take time. the area is very sad. so much investmensts, hotels houses, all deserted due to a conflict, people's destinies and all their effort going in to futile....

Very clean water and golden sandy beachfront ⛱️. It is reachable only on foot or by bike. bicycle can be rented at the entrance, cheap price, try to pick a bicycle with.a.good condition.Going on foot is also a good idea it takes about 12 minutes, where you will pass in the deserted city very sad area. All the investmensts, hotels houses, deserted due to the conflict that took place in 1974.

I was on the last beach. + "I am Legend" movie feeling. The background is scaring + Lots of opportunities for locomotion + You need minimum 30 minutes by walk, 15 minutes by bike or scooter + Nice beach - Not maintained/ Careless, maybe not enough staff. Trash bins was full and everywhere beer bottles, chips packets, tissues, cigarette filters on the sand. I was there for 5h and nobody came to fix it. Update: found today a syringe and put it in the trash bin :(.

(Translated by Google) It's a pretty long, gorgeous beach. Calmness and silence are in the foreground. The sea water is clean and you don't want to get out of it. There is a small kiosk and seating area on the beach, where you can buy food and drinks at a very affordable price. An ideal place to spend the whole day. I recommend you to visit Maraş first.

We really enjoyed visiting here and would recommend anyone who’s in the area to take a look, the history to the place is interesting and there’s even a beach which you’re able to pay to use - it’s literally crystal clear. The staff around the area were friendly and you have the option to rent a bike to look around. There’s a small but cute cafe available by the beach too for refreshments which I’d recommend.

It's depressing to see ruins of past tourist city after 1974... That literally reminds me of Pripyat but in Mediterranean...

Great place. So quiet and mostly clean. The bus system is great. However once summer is over it will probably be stopped. We really enjoyed the day. The little beach bar was reasonably priced and the sunbeds were also reasonable.

How can people give one star reviews and say this place is amazing and or lovely??? If they have an issue with the bar lady then why do they not put 3/4 stars to reflect? Even though your not there to experience the bar.... This place is outstanding and give me the chills, the history and the clean sea and sand is out of this world. You must put on your bucket list to come here and see and feel the history. Amazing, I can't put 10 stars.

This is the only city like a live war film studio in the world. Must see. Imagine everyone in Monte Carlo left the city and remain almost 50 years closed. Remember, up to 74, there was only Mağusa and Beirut for the entertainment. From all over the world people used to come this city. Now you have opportunity to witness that by travelling in time capsule.

This place left me with mixed feelings. So much efforts, such big hotels and beauty... Hotels vandalized, smaller houses ruined, flowers covering the fallen roofs and stones... This sad feeling of loss and sorrow that is usual for cemeteries only... Can not stop feeling sad about the old people that lived there and died daydreaming to be back to die in their own home... Very, very sad place.

This beach was just amazing, very quiet too! And child friendly, you have to go quite far in for it to get deep, they also have taps to wash sand off your feet, and also have changing rooms!

Very nice place. A bit spooky with ale the empty buildings around. Also, shame only cards are accepted in local bars. Beach is absolutely beautiful!

Great beach! It has food, drinks, toilet and dressing rooms. We went there with bikes we rented at the Varosha entrance. You cannot enter the Varosha by car but only by foot or bikes.

Denizi turkuaz, tertemiz. Plaji altın renkli, ful kum... Hayalet şehir, tüm heybetiyle duruyor. Zamanın en ünlü, en lüks kenti, yalnızlığa mahkum; yeniden canlanacagi günü bekliyor.

Beautiful but at the same time sad place, the sea is crystal clear and the beach is spacious and uncrowded. Must see if you are on Cyprus.

Beach is nice, but it’s bizarre knowing that all inhabitants of this formerly bustling town had to flee.
