After 6 mos. in the FM area, I finally made it to Beans to hangout w/ a church friend. The seating area is comfy and warm and the chai latte is terrific. The bag of donuts was also tasty though the donuts are a bit smallish and a touch pricey. Still, not a bad treat if that's what you're wanting. Outdoor parking is snug but adequate.

"When I lost my excuses, I found my results" My friend and I had an amazing time here again. The service has always been PERFECT. They are quick with orders and friendly. I come here to write and or to just think. My coffee drink for today's choice was a SWEATER WEATHER blended, APPLE CINNAMON flavor. It's coffee with a smooth kick of apple cinnamon as your swallow. Hot, sweet, and just the right kind of boost going into colder weather. I definitely will have to come in again and try the sister unit of VANILLA flavor 😜

Ordered a Blueberry Hibiscus (hot Tea) over Ice. It was just a regular hot tea - good flavor nothing spectacular.. BUT what made it this so enjoyable was the customer service! OUTSTANDING

Very sweet little coffee shop. Staff is friendly, ambiance is wo derful, the coffee is good - and comes with a free mini donut, which I could have eaten a bucket of if provided the opportunity.

Super cute, very clean. Nice, quaint little coffee shop with delicious drinks! Definitely one of the better independent shops in the FM area.

A coffee shop that doesn't play loud annoying pop music and provides ample lobby space is perfect for holding conversations and being productive. I didn't have to guess the barista's gender either so that's a huge bonus as well.

Mini donuts were good. They said they got new cups and they'll let their manager know what happened to my drink without offering to remake it. They are so flimsy that I picked it up to take a drink at our table and the lid popped off and the drink overflowed from the top causing it to slip from my hand. They said sorry I'll let my manager know. I showed them the cup and how holding it compresses the cup halfway. They didn't offer to remake the drink. I had 1/4 of the drink left in the cup. Really disappointed in the service after a faulty cup. If I had spilled it from my own mistake I would expect a remake but other coffee shops offer it anyway. I was surprised they didn't.

Love the mini donuts & coffee only been through drive thru so haven't had a look inside... Next time

Love the little donuts. We always go here when visiting Fargo. Prefer it to Caribou and Starbucks, personally.

Beans is one of my favorite coffee shops in Fargo. Friendly service, always quick to get my coffee, and a great atmosphere to do work.

I love this place. Don’t take that “three stars” for food as a diss. It’s just not what I go to a coffee bar to experience. The food is perfectly acceptable, just not exactly haute cuisine.

I got a coffee here this afternoon there was a hair in my iced coffee i told the lady at the window and gave it back to her she pulled the hair out and gave it back to me and said to have a good day and shut the window. I was shocked by what she did that I honestly didnt say anything after but how gross. Spent $7 on a coffee I was unable to drink. This is unacceptable and unsanitary.

The coffee isn't amazing, but the donuts are fantastic. It's worth going just for the donuts. 😍

Coffee is good, mini doughnuts are very tasty. Just don't get the box, it's barely half full. Not worth it for $10, maybe they should price it at $6 for such a low quantity.

The staff here are very friendly! However, I did not enjoy my drink. I ordered a campfire mocha with almond milk and it did not taste very good. I felt like the espresso was very bitter tasting. The drink was below my expectations especially for its price. I also did not get whipped cream on my drink which I asked for them to keep since I got almond milk. Sadly disappointed.

Im not a coffee person. Had a coffee date and my date's coffee was done right. Mine I order vanilla cream to regular black coffee. Got served straight black. Had to request the cream which I did pay for already no room in the cup to add the cream. What a mess and distraction from the date. Not happy.

I don't go to Beans often, but when I do it's for the donut... And they didn't give me the donut I worked at McDonalds in high school and they had a motto they indoctrinated us with. "Give them a pickle". Meaning that if a customer wants an extra pickle, just give it to them, make them happy. So after my years in the food industry combined with my girlfriends 8 years as a barista, our particular pet peeve happens to be bad customer service. I'm also a business owner myself, so I tend to hand out GOOD reviews and RARELY leave bad ones. But here it goes. After we paid for our $8 bill and tipped $2 (a 25% tip) they still didn't give me a donut. I wanted to take the tip back, I hope your two dollars is worth a lifetime customer. Donuts don't come on iced coffee apparently, so as my girlfriend enjoyed her donut, I sat there..... with no donut. I asked very nicely, let's be clear! As a new customer, how was I to know that donuts don't come with iced coffee? It went something like this. "Don't iced coffees come with a donut? "No, actually they don't..." "Oh... well... can I have a donut?" I said with a pretty big smile. "You'd have to pay for it." "Ohhhhkay.... how much is a donut?" She proceeds to walk over to the cash register and ring up a 33 cent donut so I can run my credit card AGAIN... 33 cents is probably the whole transaction fee. Even if they had said "I'll give it to you this time, but normally they don't come with a donut! Make sure to get a hot coffee next time." I would have been happy with that. But the barista stood there in a stalemate with me over a 33 cent donut. So now this isn't something I can discuss with them in person, and I have to leave this petty review. Even though the coffee and atmosphere was actually really good (thus two stars) I just don't want to go back now. I felt pretty disrespected and confused in front of the line. So now you're PUNISHING A NEW CUSTOMER for not knowing your menu. Got it, lesson learned loud and clear. You're also punishing iced coffee drinkers (which actually require less product because of the ice). And I would have potentially been a regular since it's on my way home from the gym every day. I know it's petty as hell, trust me. But theres just SO MUCH WRONG with poor customer service and those little decisions make the difference. So I guess I'll just go to Starbucks. Because when I go to Beans.. I go for the donut.. and they didn't give it to me.

Have been less than impressed by the quality of their coffee. I get an iced white chocolate mocha and have found coffee bean pieces on multiple occasions in my coffee.

If you ever have seen the inner workings of a business. One that serves food and beverage. You will notice a lot of steps it takes to clean are forgotten. Important steps that help keep a clean and healthy work environment!! Know this! When you get a drink and a little snack from Bean's. Know that it will be served to you on 1 of the cleanest surfaces ever. Staff ain't so bad either! Keep it up Beans 🤙🏼

I have only been here once but my iced coffee was very good! I tried the mini powdered donuts which were delicious as they were made fresh! The atmosphere was very relaxed and quiet. The staff did not seem very happy and almost frustrated when I came back after my iced coffee to get the mini donuts to go. I will definitely stop here again.
