I love Leela Thai! Their food is consistently great, packaged well for delivery, fragrant, fresh, and well made. My go to order is the beef pho. You cannot go wrong with this meal, it's so good every time and generous servings. This time, I ordered their red curry, which is a coconut milk based curry, served with rice. You choose your protein, and they have a lot of options to choose from, including a couple of vegetarian friendly options. I got the chicken and it's amazing! They also have a lot of vegetarian meals to order from, which is huge because I have a lot of close friends who are vegetarian. This allows my entire friend group to go to one place and not have to wonder if we will have options to suit everyone. I highly recommend Leela Thai! The attached photos are the red curry, chicken satay, pad cashew, and bags of gold. The bags of gold sauce is the best!

The curry is good, but for how expensive it is (30 dollars for 2 curries) they give an incredibly small amount of rice. For 2 people this is nowhere near enough rice to eat the curry with. They give one box of rice, and then the box is only about two-thirds full. My wife and I have to go home and make more rice in order to then eat our food. Not worth the money to go unless Leela will start to give more rice.

I went there with my friend. Due to the staff shortage, we were waiting for 10-15 mins until seated, I totally understand but it could be a better experience unless improved. The food were great and we could like to try something else next time.

Buffets come and go this place is like a gold flower amongst brown mushrooms. Really, you can taste the quality in the food, it's worth a few more bucks for high quality food.

The food was good! We had spicy fried rice at level 1 and that was definitely enough warmth for me. The pad see ew with chicken was a nice soy sauce dish. Not too strong with any flavor. Good for those who aren't sure what to get. The tom yum goong tasted like tomatoes soup and chicken noodle soul broth had a baby...but in a good way And the mango with sweet sticky rice was a subtly sweet dessert. The pho was good, however, I think I'll keep going to pho'delicious for my pho!

Every time I’m in town — Thai Iced Tea & Som Tum (a spicy green papaya salad with Thai eggplant, dried shrimp & fish sauce dressing) so incredible— consistent food from the flavor and spice level. Go here!!!

I was a little skeptical of this place at first. It's not much to look at from the outside, but the interior is very warm and bright. It's not the biggest place, but it has a nice cozy feel and the big windows open it up. The service was good. The staff was very kind and helpful, but not anyways the most attentive. It took us a while to get seated and have our order taken. And the order itself did take a little longer than expected, but the food was great. I had the drunken noodle, which was fresh and spicy. A well put together dish. All around a good experience if you're not in a rush. The restaurant also made sure to follow CDC guidelines, with the staff wearing masks and keeping social distancing standards. Even the tables had their own little personal hand sanitizer pumps. Definitely a great place for Thai.

The vibe is this place is amazing! I love their pineapple fried rice and their Pad Thai! Sometimes the service is a little slow, but other than that this restaurant has an amazing atmosphere!

I have a love hate with this place. I get delivery and sometimes my food will be perfect and sometimes my bottled tea will be expired or I find plastic in the center of the black sticky rice or I order extra veggies and get the same amount as normal it is hard to want to keep ordering from here.

They messed up my order so had to wait for them to redo it. Not sure what exactly the put in the gluten free pad pew wee but didn't taste very well. Hubbys pho had way more noodles than broth and it was very anise flavored. The spring rolls my hubby had came with sauce that looked very thick like honey.

Such a nice restaurant. Fancier then we expected. We had chicken satay for an appetizer, very good! Shrimp green curry was the best, just enough of a kick. They have a large drink list. Mango sticky rice was perfection!

Great place and very vegan/vegetarian friendly! Not many places in Fargo go out of their way to make an inclusive menu and this one is extensive and beautiful. We had a group and were well accommodated with tons of leftovers to take home. I had the spicy vegetable biryani and it was tasty. (And it had cashews!) The Taj Mahal import beer is delicious and light, I highly recommend it

I went here for the first time with a friend today and very much enjoyed my experience. The interior is cozy and clean. I ordered the pad thai, which was delicious. The raspberry iced tea was probably the best I've ever had in a restaurant. Will definitely be back!

I love Indian food so much. I eat it whenever I travel to a new city. I live in Fargo and have a favorite Indian restaurant here in town. This sadly is not the best in town. The food had the perfect spice level but very little flavor to go along with it. I took my leftovers home and added my own spices which seemed to help add some flavor to this dish. The "Meat Somosa" on the menu did not mention that it was lamb and it was very gamey. The naan was perfect and the service was good. This is the reason for 3 stars.

  • 4/5 Nick S. 4 years ago on Google
I enjoyed my lamb Rogan Josh but the saag is the way to go. I did order the hot and it was hot but very tasty. My wife ordered the saag medium which was spicy also but was really good. My sister in law ordered the Tikka masala which left alot to be desired needed more yogurt or cream for my taste. But overall I feel it's a place worth trying.

Last night, we treated ourself to Nepalese food. The food was outstanding, fresh, and authentic. The service was excellent. I don't usually rave about restaurant food because I am a good cook, but I can't say enough good about the food. We will be back!

  • 3/5 Jesse O. 4 years ago on Google
So... Third time here. Really liked it the other times. Today, the Tikka misala was dry with a faint Campbell's soup flavor. The curry was flavorless. The rice pudding used Jasmine rice instead of basamati and there was no cardamon. Come on guys. Help me like you. P.S. Onion chutney is bomb.

Fantastic place for vegan/vegetarian options. Many if not most other Thai restaurants use fish sauce or shrimp paste in their Curry dishes and the staff doesn't always know when you ask but I'm confident when ordering from Leela Thai that we will get vegan or vegetarian dishes when we request this.

I don't eat Thai food very much. This place was delicious and the food was presented well. Nice clean restaurant.

  • 5/5 Gucci L. 2 years ago on Google
This place is fantastic! The decorations are pretty and immersive, the staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the food is delicious! It's the perfect place to go if you'd like to dine at a nice, quiet local restaurant with very affordable food. They also deliver through DoorDash, if you'd prefer to eat Leela's food from home! If you like spicy food, you'll be happy to hear that you can order food on a spiciness scale of 0-5 (1 is too spicy for me... perhaps you'll fair better than I did haha). I highly recommend the Thai Iced Tea or Coffee, and their stir fries are really good too. I will definitely be eating here everytime I'm in the Fargo area.

Incredible Asian cuisine! Everything was amazing, including my favorite dish with basil. Their ambiance is very relaxing. Their Thai matcha milk tea is the best matcha drink I've ever had! If you do plan on ordering anything spicy, they're not kidding about the spice level (it's amazing!). The only downsides was the Tom-yum goong (gave 2 shrimp for $7.50) and the servers speak limited English. I would definitely come back though.

This is the first restaurant I have asked for water for a toddler, and they did not return with icy water. The fact they know what to do without any explanations from my end tells a lot about their customer service. Good job, guys. Also, try their jasmine tea when you visit.

The Food was great and yummy 🤤 The only thing they could improve is the quantity. I felt Spring Rolls and Rice quantity was less. But it was all delicious.

I have wanted to try Thai food for the longest time, so I was excited that my friend wanted to go here (she is a regular customer). The atmosphere was clean and cozy = inviting. The service was excellent as she was very friendly and attentive. The menu offered a variety of food types. I had the green curry fried rice. It was delicious and the portion was generous. I will definitely return and try something else. My only wish was that the menu would indicate the level of spiciness for each dish. Give it a try!

Their food is really mediocre compared to the other choices in town. Ordered the pad see ew and it was so dry! They really have to step up their game if they want to win us back. Much prefer the choices of sirirath or Thai chili.

Well, food didn’t taste like fresh. Chicken was cold inside and taste frozen. Momo was not properly steamed and not enough spices. Need to do more improvements

They're never open the hours they say online.:( The 1/10 times they were open finally they gave me the completely wrong order. From 4:30-8 they've never been open even though the hours say so.

Still just excellent. The breads are wonderful. Love the nut and raisin naan. The momos (dumplings) are great. We like the chicken momos the best. The tikka fish is one of our favorites with large and many chunks of salmon out of the tandoori oven. Veggie Korma completes the package. Go for excellent India style food. What is there not to like. Great service too.

My absolute favorite Indian Food Restaurant. This is place is not usually very busy which makes me both happy and sad. I love the quick service, but I hope this place does well and is in business for years to come. I live on the other side of Fargo but it is worth the drive. All my favorite date nights are spent here, birthday, Valentines' dayss you name it!

Some of the best Indian food in the Fargo/Moorhead area! I tried this place for the first time by getting it delivered to my house. The man making my order called to make sure he specified some of the details beforehand. I asked for mild/medium since sometimes mild is too mild, and medium is way too spicy for me, and he gave me a full tub of mild along with a side of a spicier level to mix in. Great customer service! Delivery was also at my door in under 30 minutes. I have eaten at most Indian restaurants in the area and this one is definitely a favorite!

One of the best places I have ever been. Best indian/nepali food. Amazing vibe. Good music. And really good customer service. I recommend Everest tikka House for anyone in F-M area.

  • 5/5 Ruben S. 4 years ago on Google
One of the very few places that has a lineup of truly authentic and true to the original formulas to famous and the not so famous indian and nepali cuisines in the fargo moorhead area. Taste buds wont be dissapointes 😊😊

  • 5/5 Gyanendra K. 4 years ago on Google
Best Indian and Nepali food in F-M Area. I strongly recommend everyone.

  • 5/5 Benjamin J. 4 years ago on Google
Great service, and good food. Had the lunch buffet - a nice range of dishes, and interesting options. My favorite was the chicken Tikka masala.

  • 3/5 Khaalathas 4 years ago on Google
We normally go here about once a month on a weekend and its normally excellent. This time it was just ok but the atmosphere felt very off. Had to wait four minutes until we were seated. Many light bulbs burned out in the place made it very dark. Bathrooms were nasty which made me want to leave immediately. If I hadn't have been there many times before I dont think I would go back again and if I ever go back and it's like that again I will not return. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt and rating 3 stars for a place on past visits I would have rated 5 stars.

  • 3/5 Simeon S. 4 years ago on Google
They need to get thier spice level dialed in. I love super hot foods but the medium almost ruined the dish.

  • 5/5 Mike R. 4 years ago on Google
Best Himalayan I've had anywhere in the states. The buffet rotates food regularly and they're generous with requests. Lovely staff and owners.

  • 1/5 Rhoger T. 4 years ago on Google
Buffet here is not worth the price. Very few choices of food and and taste is not good. Costumer service is good but I prefer to have good food than service. No other than chicken is your option for meat. 😊

  • 4/5 Bear O. 4 years ago on Google
The buffet for I think 14 dollars roughly is most of the reason I ever go here. Its a pretty good deal. The tikka masal at the buffet is pretty good. The chicken tandoori all you can eat is worth the price. The mango lassi if your thirsty is pretty good as well. As a supper place its nothing to write home about.
