I came into your store with a box of frozen breakfast sandwiches. They were dated to be used by March of 23 and I didn't have the receipt from 3 days prior. I told them that I had called the next day and asked the woman who answered if She thought they would be OK considering the use by date and she said being they were frozen they should be OK and to go ahead and try one and if not good to return them The manager or whomever tried to tell me that Noone that worked there would say such a thing and AND I guess this made me a liar. They treated me like a second class citizen and humiliated me. They then told me that March of 23 was still a good date. I don't see how when it is now August of 24 I left the store after making more purchases minus the money I spent on breakfast biscuits that were no good so every one who shops there better beware how they sell old products and will not refund!!

I really appreciate the openness and easy to find products that you need to get on the get-go. The convenience of a gas station but the inventory of a large grocery store a perfect place for families, employees, and everyone in between when it comes to getting what you need. Produce is always fresh, the Deli is always tasteful, the bakery and meat section always showing the best additionally the signature chocolate dipped cookies are always a must have treat! I can’t recommend Hornbachers enough if you’re visiting the Fargo-Moorhead area.

My second time trying to buy roast beef and they are out! There’s also a guy that makes you feel like an inconvenience when trying to request something. Not impressed, left to another store

I only go to buy the sushi. Selection is awesome and it tastes amazing. This store is very clean, no clutter and easy to find things in a store I am not really familiar with. The meat selection was nice and everything looked very good, nothing close to expiring. I love the Jamaican jerk rub on the chicken legs. Just have to cook when I get home with them and they are so good.

I love this store so much that every time I go to Fargo I make sure I stop here because Grand forks and East Grand forks don't have any stores to shop at that even come close to hornbacher's. Also the staff is very very nice not like Hugo's... One of the monopolies in Grand forks that run the town pretty much

Asked if a backpack had been turned in as I misplaced mine. The associate approached and immediately came at me as if I was lying there was no bag behind the desk as we got to the desk and there was my back pack she then says how do I know it's urs I started to respond when a drunk man approached claiming it as well 3ho dhe sided with to my surprise both of us claiming it's our bag she says I'm calling cops I asked her to check fornt pocket for my id she wouldn't so I grabbed the bag opened the pocket and it was not in there so I'm thinking he did something with it and I open the big pocket and realize it's not my bag this one is full of beer. Honest mistake but this lady came at me some type of way from the jump I feel it was cut of my appearance tattoos every where she was rude and basically judged and discriminated against me I'll never go back

Super gouging since the takeover. They have bugs.. Store is too small for the area. No competition means poor service.. They don't care. Monthly food prices are higher than a new car payment.

Quick stop and easy access when traveling by bus or vehicle. I have always found the meat section clean, organized, and products fresh. Shelves are usually well stocked. Since the price of groceries is outrageous everywhere, a super sale would help in overturning stock that doesn't sell often.

I like that they don't use self checkouts. Their bakery used to be amazing, as well as meat department. Ever since they were purchased by Coborns, both have become very generic in quality.

The weekly sale items are priced well and can add up to big savings if you watch and stick to your list however if you don't get there early enough the Shelf is often empty however they have a great rain check system in a very gracious about issuing you a rain check at the checkout counter very nice

They are my pharmacy and my local market. They are excellent in all the ways they care for families, customers and patients. Best Care!

I use their motorized carts and my complaint would be the carts are difficult to operate at checkout. Aside from that, I enjoy shopping there.

I have visited most of the Hornbacher stores. I still stand on my previous review of the Moorhead Hornbachers store. I can add details as an update. It's clean and always well-stocked (even the bathroom and carts). I have rarely needed a raincheck and the staff is the friendliest in the F-M area!

I love Hornbacher's and grew up in the industry, but the prices are absolutely outrageous right now. I get that there was inflation, but there is no reason for prices to be 2x what they are at Cub in Minneapolis...just as there is no reason for groceries to be more expensive in Fargo than Minneapolis. It's time for prices to come back to earth here. CW is the same - Coborn's has a pretty solid corner on the market in Fargo - vote with your wallet. There isn't anything wrong with this specific store, just the overall pricing at the stores.

I would recommend coming here every thing is always clean and and the shelves are full. I also really like the meat department at this hornbacher’s over the other locations they have a larger selection of meats to choose from and the meats are very good quality!

Love this store! One of the best things about it is that It’s smaller than most of the grocery stores in town , yet it has all the basic groceries. It’s very clean and the employees are helpful and friendly.

High quality bakery goods. Pumpkin muffins and apple fritters are worth the trip. Friendly, consistent staff. Spotlessly clean store.

Hornbachers has been my favorite grocery store ever since my dad was the Northport donut maker. I once worked in the Deli when I was a teenager. Still my favorite grocery store

  • 5/5 Jeanne R. 1 year ago on Google
Hornbachers on Broadway in the Northport is my usual stop. However if I am shopping south I feel they all give good service. I do 80% + of my business there. I appreciate the fact where ever my errands take me in Moorhead or Fargo it's easy going to a Hornbachers. I have shopped both Moorhead stors and 4 around Fargo.

After hornbacher's sold to coborn's or whatever it was prices went up quality went down and it seems like nobody pays attention to items stocked. For instance they had aircent plug-in units for one brand but only had the scent oils for the other brand. Neither brand had both the plug-in and the scents. Also the peanut butter kashi cereal cost 20% more than other stores and comes with 50% less in the box. Several items over the last couple years have changed to the smaller portions but prices have gone up compared to the larger box. Lastly every single time I go in there I always get paper instead of plastic and I've never seen so many groceries put into a single bag. They'll stack the bags so high that you can't even hold both handle loops with a single hand. I consistently have to rebag my items. The times that I don't I find that the bag sometimes rips before I even get to my vehicle. 3 stars because the staff are always friendly

Always love and enjoy visiting Hornbachers for my grocery needs. Clean store. Great variety and selection. Great customer service, very personable. They had everything I was looking for. Will definitely be shopping here again!!

First this place is a little expensive compared to walmart. So I usually just go here for sale items or items that Walmart doesn't carry. The people are always so nice and amazing too me. It may not be the biggest or cheapest but it's nice too go just to a grocery store. Thank you for all you do in our small community in Moorhead MN.

Not enough motorized carts, but everything is alright with the store. Kind of on the pricy side, but still good.

I live in East Grand forks Minnesota. We used to have a hornbachers across the bridge in Grand forks North Dakota but just like most places around here they closed. It was my favorite store so when I do go to Fargo or I should say Morehead I love going to hornbacher's and I spend quite a bit of money because they have things there that I love that they don't have anywhere here at all so I do love this store very much. Also the people that work there are very friendly.

Great food, a little more expensive than other grocery stores, like cash wise.

The fresh made Bagels here!!!!!! Ahhhhhhh they are so great. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the store is very clean, the fruits and vegetables are in great condition. The deli is very well maintained and very nice.

Great grocery store, best deli in town. Fresh hand breaded chicken strips are to die for!

Hornbacher's, I believe, is a family owned grocery store. Their customer service is great. The employees there are very helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. The only negative thing I can say is... their prices are high. I suppose that's true for many family owned companies across America.

Cheap and easy, convenient. What more do ya need

Friendly staff, fair pricing, great produce selection and quality, everythingI went shopping for was in stock also... Only negative I do have is that I have to make sure each & every time during the checkout procese that everything always rings up correctly, because on every 3 out 4 Hornbachers trips-ive had not 1, but always several items that will ring up incorrectly at the wrong price, charging me more for each item that rang thru incorrectly...!!!

🫤 I have tried this place many times. I have had decent customer service from only two people there ever. The place is dirty, smells, with old uncomfortable furniture. Drip coffee is always lukewarm so I order espresso which is fair. Certain baristas do not want you to watch them make the drink which...
