Easy check-in with digital key. Staff was polite and helpful. The room was very nice. Great view from the 10th floor. Bed was comfy, and I slept well. The shower was large and had good water pressure. It was easy to find. I felt safe walking from the parking lot.

Lobby is very pretty! Good location. However, room is dated; definitely not what I expected after seeing the lobby. There is also no fridge or microwave in the room, which was inconvenient. No complimentary water given either unless you are at least silver status on Hilton Honors. Front desk was okay but not as friendly as other places. Breakfast area staff was not friendly, and breakfast is not complimentary. Hotel is dog friendly as in they allow dogs (which was a plus!), but not very friendly past that. Also, housekeeping was on our floor so we asked them if they could add our room today. They said sure, just go down to the front desk and let them know. When we went down, front desk said it was too late to add on our room. Sounds like miscommunication between staff that was inconvenient to guests. Fine place if you just need a place to stay the night, but that’s it.

rooms are nice but the cleaning service is “complimentary” you have to book it 24 hours in advance 😭 i thought that was the whole point of going to a hotel and not booking an airbnb… there is no minibar in the room.. room service never picked up… meh. the breakfast area staff was literally mean.. and the breakfast is so expensive for the quality

The hotel’s architecture is unique. It’s clean and the staff are AMAZING! Every encounter with staff during our 3 day stay far exceeded my expectations. Breakfast is great, there are plenty of options for picky eaters. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they do not have a mini fridge and microwave in the room. I have not been to a hotel of any caliber in the last 8 years that did not have them as an amenity so I was shocked and disappointed that there was no place to store or warm food within our room. Otherwise, I was perfectly satisfied and enjoyed our stay!

Two Stars for a Three Star hotel. When arriving to the hotel, the staff were very kind! This is the only reason I am giving a more "positive" review. Unfortunately, when checking into our room we did not have Air Conditioning or Heat. Rather than changing our rooms, we had to wait 4 hours for them to rebuild the A/C and replace the fan motor. While the room was 80 degrees, we then got charged $4 for drinking the two water bottles in the room. My allergies were off the charts as well, due to the dusty and wet room, which did not smell very good. It's funny, we were joking that it was snowing in our room when we opened the blinds because of all the particles in the air. Also, be warned that there is no refrigerator in the room - which is a huge inconvenience if you are like me where you have medicine that must be cooled! When trying to sleep, you might as well use the comforter rather than the pillows because the comforter is much thicker than the pillows themselves. Lastly, it is a shame that breakfast was $15 and not included. The main ballroom was nice, and staff were again, very friendly. A staff member did spill coke all over my table spot and tried to wipe it up, but it was still sticky and wet for the rest of the night. While we were here for a wedding and didn't have much of a choice, I think this stay was a bit of a disappointment for me and shows the brand has almost let itself go.

I was here last weekend with my boyfriend and I really enjoyed my stay. Very nice hotel and the lady that checked us in was so nice. She was also very knowledgeable about great places to eat. I think her name was Sinclair or something like that. We had some issues with getting the ac unit to cool Sinclair sent someone up promptly to fix the issue. She even called back afterwards to follow up. Before I forget the guy bar tender had really great recommendations and great service as well. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for such wonderful service.

I booked my birthday hotel through Priceline and was sooo excited! I checked in really late and went to the room and crashed. My mom was with me and kept saying she was itching the first night. The room looked clean upon arrival and I sprayed the room down but didn’t see some of the things that were out of place. (I always bring my own blankets so I slept on top of the hotel bedding with my blanket) I had a full day of plans the following day to celebrate so I was gone but when I checked back in I noticed some major things. The room was NEVER CLEANED upon my arrival. There were hot Cheetos on the floor, there was dirty stuff on the beds under the blanket, the sheets smelled like pee, the clock had wires cut, the AC unit was rattling and SOOO LOUD. I was not happy. I mentioned it to the front desk and nothing was done. Housekeeping came knocking on my door at 7am on the day of checkout and wanted to come clean. By then I’ve been in the hotel. (PICS BELOW) I was told I would receive compensation for my issues through Priceline but when I called they said the manager approved a partial refund in which I had no clue about. I was not satisfied with it because it was $50 for my $200 stay. I was offered a drink from the lobby and that’s all. I’m not satisfied AT ALL.

I was at this hotel for a conference two weeks ago, and I must say the Hilton hotels differs state to state. This hotel knew they were hosting a Transgender conference but yet we’re harassing people during check-in about not using their dead name. The rooms were extra small and had a large space underneath the door to the room. One of the lamps in the room stop working and it was already lacking lights in the room. They need to do a real upgrade to the hotel and make sure they have adequate lighting in the rooms.

Stayed here for a work conference. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were so comfortable. I did not have a refrigerator in my room which was extremely inconvenient. There is a bar and restaurant on site, as well as a Starbucks. They serve a buffet style breakfast for 17.00. Which I ate one of the mornings I was there. I felt it was worth the money and tasted wonderful. The location is a bit out of the way of things. There is a restaurant across the parking lot as well as a toco bell and Wendy’s near by, however anything else you will need to drive. The staff were great, very friendly and extremely helpful. Overall Thai was a greasy place to stay.

Decent facility, strong customer service and friendly staff. Location is lame. Shuttle will only take you 4 miles from hotel. Very limited things to do in that radius. Galleria was just a huge ball and not worth the visit. The rest of the area is housing, business high rises and somewhat industrial leanings. Not a walkable neighborhood. Closest crosswalk is a quarter mile in each direction. Food options are limited with mainly fast food. Dangerous journey to cross road to restaurant with no close safe crossings. Hotel restaurant has limited food options. Rooms have no fridge for leftovers or room food and drink. Forcing you to spend lots of money. Many guest had plumbing issues including my room have constant flushes of pressurized water keeping me awake through the night. They did move my room and refunded me a nights stay. Would never stay here by choice.

I wish I could rate this hotel higher as it was one of the best hotel stays I’ve experienced. The staff like Allen, Jonny, Maritza, Julieta and Ashley went above and beyond to give the best customer service possible. They couldn’t have been more sweet and accommodating. The room was spacious comfortable and clean. Everyone on staff couldn’t have been more friendly. I’ll definitely be back in Dallas for business and will make sure I’m staying here again. I love the warm cookies at night too! Another nice touch from DoubleTree!

José and Raul are the best bartenders. Every time I’m here on business they make the bar atmosphere inviting and enjoyable. Whether there is one person or 100 people they make you feel like you are the only one. It’s great! Thank you.

This was probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. For starters, because my husband was a diamond member, we got many extra perks in our stay. We went over Thanksgiving, so we had dinner there. The dinner was the best green beans of all time, chicken, turkey, stuffing, and mashed sweet potato. Breakfast was delicious and nutritious, and our family looked forward to it every morning. The staff was very kind and offered us drinks while sitting in the lobby. There was also a free phone charging station. The charging station was just a small shelf with compartments for each phone, and you could leave your phone securely unattended for charging. Lastly, the lobby was layered and had multiple levels with beautiful furniture.

I have been here for three weeks consecutively staying on different floors in different room classes. This is a beautiful property near the Galleria with grand ballrooms and meeting spaces. It has a island bar in sunken area off of the main lobby which I've always thought was a cool feature in finer hotels. Rooms have been clean and service is consistent across all departments I've encountered. The hotel seems busy every night during the week and parking is a premium on the front side of the building. While the staff I encountered were in good spirits and provided acceptable service, they must be understaffed and having a hard time hiring. Housekeeping was on demand only and there was no dining or room service. Food service was limited to a buffet line for breakfast and bar food in the evening available only in the bar area. There was also the "snack bar" at the front desk where you can get microwave meals and ham sandwiches. For a full service hotel like this one it is disappointing that key, full service amenities like housekeeping and in room dining are severely limited in late 2022 nearly three years after the start of the covid pandemic. Overall a great stay in an impressive building.

Great location and the staff was very friendly. The amenities were nice and the Starbucks on site was an added bonus. Great benefits for diamond members.

From a Hilton Honors member, we stayed here recently as of October 2023. Though it's a massive hotel but they need to upgrade. This hotel gave out all king rooms even when we reserved for king bedroom. The unfortunate part is that we were offered queen, but it was a twin beds. The Room A/C was blasting high even when the weather dropped. The maintenance man had to come up to fix the issues. They double charged us and have not returned the doubled billing to our account. Hilton needs to do better with this doubletree period.

I could not have chosen a better hotel for its location to many places to eat, tour the city, easy access to the highways. Beautiful entry and has a fantastic bar area . Upon your next visit to Dallas, I'll highly recommend you book here! If you enjoy collecting Hilton points like I do. Points add to your total for future night stays! Come on by the staff is very friendly!

A nice Hilton property, what one would expect for quality of the room and cleanliness. Also for a Hilton, everything costs extra, $2 bottles of water, which every hotel we traveled to this year, are free. Having said that, the breakfast buffet was reasonable priced at $15. The cool factor here is the atrium and the almost retro sunken bar, terraces stepping down toward the next floor. They do have a C store next to check in, that can get you by in a pinch. We will stay here again.

This is a very nice Doubletree Hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned daily. We left valuables in the room without any problem. The bed was comfy. My only complaint would be that the air conditioner didn’t cool down to the temperature that we would set it at. The room would get hot at night without a way to cool it down. Also, most hotels have a small refrigerator in the room. This one did not. We stayed here to play in a pickleball tournament and needed to hydrate. it would have been nice to have a place to keep cold bottles of water. Breakfast each day was a huge buffet with lots of variety. The pancakes I had were tough, the biscuits were good. There was a nice variety of fruit, bagels, toast, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, breakfast sausage and more! Coffee was good, too! Plus there was an automatic latte machine with unlimited amounts. They were pretty good, too. There was a Starbucks in the hotel lobby with a limited variety of food….no egg bites! I tend to like a noon latte, but unfortunately they closed at 11:00 am. For all the positive amenities we would stay here again when we come to Dallas.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Amenities in very good condition and clean. The room and bathroom was very clean. I would stay again here for sure and I would recommend it to my friends. Fairly price: you get what you pay for. Fitness center is well equipped, clean and organized. Huge lobby with plenty of space.

This location was so nice, I’m sure this hotel has been around for years so some features are bit dated but other than that everything else here is pretty modern! I was a bit skeptical booking this hotel at first from the mixed reviews, but overall it was a great experience! It’s right by the highway so it was somewhat close to a lot of the places we wanted to check out in Dallas. Room was really clean when we checked in and the parking lot was well lit and spacious, so bringing our toddler with us we felt safe☺️ Thank you again to the kind staff and the complimentary cookies y’all!

Good location and decent room for the price.... but the walls don't block noise at all. Some sort of noise policy needs to be enforced as people have no common sense. Don't count on front desk picking up the phone. Know that there is no refrigerator in the rooms and most of the parking spaces at the front are quite narrow. If you have a large pickup you'll want to park at the back - it's probably a closer walk than parking far out at the front anyway. The lobby and dining area is pretty impressive. The breakfast is an extra $14 and is a buffet. I didn't try it but it looked pretty classy.

I have stayed at this hotel twice for work trips, primarily because it's conveniently located near our office. Unfortunately, both of my stays were extremely unpleasant. During my first visit, the bed had been used and was contaminated, posing a biohazard. Furthermore, the elevator kept getting stuck, causing delays and inconvenience in reaching my office on time. On this recent stay, I was given a room different from the one I had requested, without any prior notice or apology. I complained about itching constantly while in bed, prompting them to promise to spray the room and check for bed bugs, which was quite alarming. Additionally, I was mistakenly charged a deposit twice and had to pay charges out of my own pocket that should have been billed to the company card, like my colleagues who were also traveling with me. I only discovered the hotel's terrible reputation when I began sharing my experience with those around me during this trip. Thankfully, our company has now advised us to stay at the another in the future, so I won't have to endure such a dreadful experience again.

One of the best Double Trees I have stayed at. At the check-in process I was assigned a room that they felt would be on the quiet side of the hotel. I did not hear anything outside. I was provided a food and beverage credit which I was able to use at their cafe that sold Starbuck's products. I did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant. The room was clean and every employee I ran across was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had a good experience.

We’ve stayed here so many times in the past. It’s one of my favorite ones to stay at. We’ve always had a great experience. Rooms are nice could use an upgrade, bathrooms need an upgrade I normally stay on the executive floor being diamond but it was full this trip so I ended up on a different floor. Shower had some paint chipping pretty bad in the bathroom shower. Please take out the bathtubs when you do a remodel. They’re my only issue with the rooms. The tubs are very deep and all porcelain a few years ago I slipped and hit my head pretty bad in one of the rooms here and had to stay extra days. Beds are always nice, front desk staff has always been so loving to me and my children. We spent a week here during spring break due to weather conditions at home. The younger male manager I’m spacing his name is the most loving caring hotel worker I’ve met. We were stuck here and my son missed his birthday party. The front desk heard about it and felt so sad for him. While we were gone for the day the front desk staff left a wrapped up box with little toys in it and a card signed by all the staff. Truly made me cry and made my son feel so loved. We were on three weeks of being gone. Staff would tell my kids goodnight daily. When we just went back last week we were heading home from being gone over a month and had a few nights left on the road. Upon walking in I was immediately greeted by my last name and asked how my children were. The lady working at the Starbucks in the morning remembered us from our last visit and my children. Hotel always seems very safe to me. I have never had an issue with safety or my vehicle. It’s pretty locked down on the executive floor. Bar staff is very friendly and remembered me, brisket tacos are to die for. Breakfast is good no issues there. I ran into one issue this stay that was a huge disappointment we left a wallet in the room with cash after checking out and driving off an hour later we remembered and went back. House keeping was cleaning the room and said no wallet was in there. 100% positive it was left on the chair. I checked for a few days but nothing was turned in. I’m not going to rate the hotel based on this one disappointing situation because the 20 other times we stayed we have had no issue at all. Just happened to get someone not very honest but I’m sure it happens. I would definitely recommend this hotel and they’re always busy. You will be treated well and it’s the nicest Double Tree I’ve been too. They also take very good care of their diamond members and have always blown me away with the extras they give you.

Two biggest complaints, terrible pillows in the rooms and breakfast is not included in the price. Decor in the rooms is nice and beds are decent, minus the awful, flat, feather pillows. The light-up wall art in the bathroom and halls is nice. No fridge in the room is a minus. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The property could use a bit more routine upkeep, as it appears it was once quite a beautiful property, but now looks a bit rundown. Enjoyed the architecture in the lobby/bar/ breakfast area, except that the roof sprung leaks when it rained and there were buckets everywhere. Location is ok.

Post pandemic, this place was a real hotel, far better than any other Hilton property I was at in the past 2 years. The $15 voucher actually covered the breakfast buffet cost. Was here as part of a group, for a conference, the food was good, the room clean, the show decent with hot water, the tv good size and adequate (although chromecast or similar would be nice), no housekeeping unless requested, but no problem when requested. There was no restaurant but food as available at the bar (limited). The only real complaint was lack of room plugs for electronics, only a few available in the lamps and they were low amps so charged slow.

Here’s an in-depth review from a traveler and a down to earth perfectionist. I’ll give you the pros and cons. Pros: The staff are wonderful. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Renee especially was very nice, warm and professional. She went out of her way to make sure my stay for my husband’s birthday staycation was excellent. We also had the breakfast buffet. It was ok. Nothing to write home about. But, if you’re just hungry and not picky it will hit the spot. The cookies were pretty good. For the price it wasn’t bad. Cons: Although my hotel room was clean it was not my cup of tea. It was dated and smelled of old smoke. The hotel in general was dated and sort of old looking. Got drinks from the bar and they were not good. The hotel area is not in a very good area. The hotel outside looks kind of unattractive. The parking spaces are way too narrow. Bottom Line: Would I stay here again? Probably not. Should you? If you don’t really care about staying at a really nice hotel and just want a place to sleep and don’t plan on being in the room that much. You should stay here. But if you know you are picky or like semi luxurious or luxurious hotels this isn’t the place for you. 4 out of 5 stars. Mostly for the staff.

We stayed on Christmas Eve so it was pretty quiet for what is usually a business and event hotel. Check in and breakfast staff were awesome, although the lobby bar tender let the team down some. Rooms are clean and quiet - they could use a tech upgrade though to add USB and power outlets on both sides of the bed and perhaps some updated TVs? Otherwise we thought it was above average for the room rate charged.

Stayed 7/7/22-7/10/22, family of 4. We had two separate reservations because we added on an additional day. I have never been treated more aggressively by housekeeping staff. They knocked on the door starting at 8am to “see” if we are in the room. Now, the room did not get cleaned once so it was odd to have multiple people knock on the door to check if we were there. They knock once and open the door. I even had one knock at 8 and I asked her to return later and she came 30 minutes later and when I said it’s still very early she did “well what do you want?” I asked for a set of 4 towels but was given towels with no washcloths and no one ever returned with them. The sheets had holes and the pillows were smaller than standard size. The hotel is HOT. I’m not sure if they throttle the air or if it can’t keep up with the demand. The breakfast is possibly the worst thing I ever came across. Extremely cheap, like it was cooked days ago. We tried it one day and passed the other days. Even the DoubleTree cookies tasted gross. The pool is very small so pass if your taking the kids swimming or for vacation. The hotel is older and you can hear a lot of noise if it is crowded as it was on the weekend. Thursday it was very quiet but the next 2 nights we could hear people laughing in their rooms and talking at the elevator. Good location, close to lots of things. Front desk staff were nice but seemed confused. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in Dallas and I must say, it was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with all of the amenities one could ask for. The beds were particularly comfortable, providing a great night's sleep after long days of exploring the city. The hotel's restaurant, bar, and room service were exceptional, with delicious food and excellent service throughout my stay. The hotel also has a great fitness center and pool, both of which were fantastic for a quick workout or to relax and unwind. Overall, I can't recommend the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in Dallas enough – it truly exceeded my expectations. The staff were professional, courteous, and incredibly welcoming throughout my entire stay. If you're looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay while in Dallas, I highly recommend this hotel.

As a diamond Hilton member I've got to say, this is probably the nicest place over ever stayed. The staff is amazing, location great, free parking and the Honor rewards benefits the best I've ever encountered. Their ac's can freeze you out if you so choose, clean rooms, best pillows I've ever seen at a hotel. Can't say enough good things.

Very nice hotel. The interior is really neat. Our room had 2 queen beds. I was a bit disappointed that we didn't have a mini fridge in our room. Also when someone in another room would flush the toilet our sink would gurgle. Another thing I noticed was that when the a/c unit shut off it maked a loud thudding noise. I did bring this up to Renee at the front desk who was very helpful & told me she'd address the issues. Overall the hotel is very nice

My stay was good however I wanted to give a shout out to Sonia who did an amazing job and is certainly a reason why I would come back. She went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed to get a National Training done and she also handled everything with a great attitude though she was swamped at the front desk Good workers are hard to come by and she's exceptional

Reserved an accessible king room online. Was told the tub was fully accessible. Was given a queen sized bed with a non-accessible tub. The hotels idea of accessible was a single grab bar in the tub where one could not easily reach it. No bars that were convenient to use to get in or out of the tub. There were bars around the toilet for assistance. The queen bed was too small and was hard for a handicapped person to get in and out of it. Website has many incorrect or outdated information, including the fact the hotel does not have a restaurant. Plus side: room was clean.

Overall a very nice hotel. Comfortable bed and great amenities and friendly employees. However, being a Hilton hotel, I think they could manage to put a mini fridge in the rooms. I am a diabetic and had to keep storing my insulin on ice while I stayed there. I would stay again though.

  • 1/5 Shaun W. 10 months ago on Google
Please know that this hotel doesn’t have refrigerators in every room. I let the staff know that I was insulin dependent and required a refrigerator to keep the insulin cold and they let me know they couldn’t help me. I checked out and went to a different hotel.

Exceptional Wedding Reception and Honeymoon Stay at DoubleTree! Our wedding reception and honeymoon stay at DoubleTree were absolutely phenomenal, leaving us with cherished memories that will last a lifetime. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the remarkable staff, especially Detrina, who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived at the reception venue, we were greeted with warm smiles and a level of professionalism that immediately put us at ease. The attention to detail in setting up the reception space was impeccable, creating an elegant and inviting atmosphere that exceeded our expectations. As we transitioned for the night to our honeymoon suite, staying in one of DoubleTree's luxurious suites was the perfect beginning to our marital journey. However, what truly made our stay exceptional was the exceptional service provided by Detrina and the dedicated staff. Detrina's attentiveness, kindness, and willingness to go above and beyond left an indelible mark on our hearts. Her personalized touches and thoughtful gestures added an extra layer of warmth and made us feel genuinely valued and cared for. The entire DoubleTree team consistently demonstrated their commitment to ensuring our happiness and satisfaction throughout our time with them. From the friendly concierge to the accommodating wait staff and servers everyone we encountered was dedicated to making our stay memorable. We wholeheartedly recommend DoubleTree for any couple looking to celebrate their special occasions or embark on a romantic getaway.

Nice hotel, great location. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was convenient for restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to family and friends.

PLEASE! GO ANYWHERE ELSE! The worst hotel customer service. Nicholas Johnson should take a vacation. Incredibly rude and unprofessional. Perhaps the entire front reception desk could use a vacation with him. They were all unhelpful and when asked to speak with a manager, apparently, there is not one on staff to complain to. Our group poorly chose to stay her for a hockey tournament (1/12-1/15/24) and we all had several interactions that were less than pleasant with the hotel staff. Everyone was curt and rude. And it was very disorganized at check-in and out, as if the hotel was unprepared for a group our size. 100% the worst front desk service I have EVER received as a paying guest of a hotel. I know many members of our group will no longer be patroning Hilton properties. Marriott and Hyatt are much better. Have flagged with corporate but would be shocked if they care.
