We love Rawhide Park because of the convenience to where we live, it has great walking/running trails. and a good playground for kids. The only negative is there is NO FENCE around the playground area. It backs up to the the large creek and boarders by a busy road - a fence would be SO nice! The walking trails require crossing over main roads but there are crossing lights in place for safety. My main tip is to go when the weather is nice or when the sun is going down. There are shaded areas but the majority of the playground and trail is in the sun!

There was more wildlife here than I expected! Turtles, ducks, geese, fish, herons, squirrels and crawdads! It was a nice day to walk on the park

Great long walking trail with three sequential loops so you have multiple cutbacks and can walk however much you want. You're always alongside the creek, and if there's been rain in the past week you will hear waterfalls every hundred feet or so. The one thing that really hurts the place is that there are so many incredibly horrible dog owners that leave poop all over the place in the grass. I wouldn't dare walk in the grass here, even though I strongly prefer natural ground to the cement path.

I walk my dog here. It has a nice water fountain for dogs, strategically placed trash cans that are emptied regularly, and nice landscaping. I would like more shade but I can walk in the evening

This place is simply superb. Located in a neighborhood and yet very close to the main road; calm and serene. Though the name says "Rawhide 'park'", it actually is more of a trails. A small, narrow lake runs along the length of the neighborhood and on either side of it green grass and trees bordered by the walking trails. It's not crowded, so it would be an ideal place to have some peace and social distancing ;)

Pretty, long Greenbelt with sidewalks on both sides. Only street parking except the 2 ends. No restrooms. A few fountains. Lots of benches and bench swings.

Very nice place to walk or jog. The trails are scenic, with nicely landscaped areas and lots of trees providing shade. I love walking my dog here, as there are randomly placed drinking fountains for both humans and dogs, plus there there are plenty of dog waste stations available. Great place to experience a little bit of zen!

Great and simple park with multiple view points, and areas to enjoy your outside activities and good foundation sidewalk trail with multiple distance roundabouts for walks, running or biking. Includes, fountains for people and pets, free public library, bike repair station, various seating areas & bench swings, playground, nice water creek that you can fish at with crossing stepping stones, large well maintained grass areas that include shaded areas, dog friendly with doggy bags and trash cans, and 2 outdoor exercise areas. Lots of ducks, geese, and migrating birds will fill the area during the right seasoned months. Note: main parking lot can be limited with sharing with Farmers Branch Library. You can also park along whole park or near baseball fields.

Beautiful place to walk!! Swinging benches, ducks and geese. 3 parks along the trails but no bathrooms. Even more beautiful at night.

Great little park. Fun climbing equipment for younger kids and got to feed the ducks. Lots of room for kids to run. Can be muddy if it has recently rained, so be aware.

Beautiful park, very quiet and well maintained. Can’t speak for how well lit it is at night, since I’ve only been in the daytime hours but it was really pretty during the day. Dog friendly (as long as they are on a leash) and also very clean.

It was a nice quiet place. There was swings at this park something I have not noticed at any park. A small looking stream divided the sides. Some ducks and a storck wondered around and on the water stream. Loved it and would like to go back there

Large park, nice families usually about but not packed. Playground has swings, slides, ducks, and the lake has a running track around it.

Ducks make it a 5/5. Lack of a sidewalk from the parking lot to the park (that doesn't take you back out to the street??) makes this a 3/5 My baby went off-roading today.
