Highly recommended Mexican buffet restaurant! El Refran serves authentic Mexican cuisine with a wide variety of choices. I love how they offer you grilled steaks and chicken combined with corn or flour tortillas. The employees also try their best in comforting you and checking in every now and then. This restaurant also serves delicious drinks such as Jarritos and Horchatas. Great place to try!

The food was so good! Service was awesome!! So many options, we were stuffed! Not many dessert options. I was hoping for tres leche, flan or donuts or ice cream but none of those were options. But I'll be back again for sure!

It's probably the most authentic mexican food you could find in Dallas. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and promptly. The corn tortillas are freshly baked, and the horchata beverage quench your tirst.

Read most of the reviews here. The price isn't that's expensive, especially when most of y'all would spend that on a latte or a pressed juice. Food isn't bad just hit and miss just like our cooking at home. The experience was great, I was brought here mothers day 2023. Very sweet table service, my waitresses was amazing. Kept our drinks full and always made her rounds to see that everything perfect. She brought me a complimentary Cheesecake and also a single beautiful white rose. I pay attention to detail and she really made my day. The food is good if you want a large variety to indulge in. The guacamole was yummy, quesadillas yummy and mole good but sweet. It's all on what you really want to satisfy your taste buds with. I'll be back for lunch and supper another day. To fully honestly review this buffet mexican cuisine establishment.

Wow, this place is incredible. Came on a Saturday morning, and they had the full buffet at 9am. Huge selection and authentic as it gets. Favorites were homemade tortillas, catfish soup, pork in green sauce, mole, barbacoa, guacamole, cerviche, chili rellenos, and the ground beef. Really special place.

Amazing amazing amazing! Mexican food is not my preference usually, but this place makes me change all of that. The food is very flavorful and the atmosphere is gracious. Once I saw that this restaurant supports their ministry we had to come. My husband knows more about Mexican food than I do and he really enjoyed it better than the more expensive options. It's our first time, we love this place and will be back.

The meats are swimming in to much grease and fat. I understand keeping meats juicy but this is over kill.. hamburger meat for crunchy tacos? they'll be soft tacos by the time you get to your table.. The concept is good though with some adjustments and a little more coulinary understanding this place could rock..

Great little hole in the wall, authentic Mexican & Tex-Mex buffet. It was a bit pricey! 2 adults and a 10-year old , with 3 sweet teas was over $60! A traditional Buffet (Asian or American like Golden Corral) is 14.99 each, give or take a dollar. Again, the price included drinks at checkout, so I'm not sure of the cost for each. Other than the price, food was great, as was the atmosphere, and staff! I wish they had flan and beef fajita meat. Still Great!

It was just ok. Smaller than I expected. The price is almost $20 per person. The staff was all nice but disappointed overall.

The food is fantastic, the two times we have been here we have had no problems. The waitresses are very attentive and satisfy the customer's needs. I loved the pozole, it was the most delicious recipe that I’ve tried in years... Simply delicious, variety of food, broths, Reyeno chiles, empanadas. salads, shrimp cocktail, fried fish, mojarra, beans rice plus more... Wow!!
