Went for my first time to try acupuncture for the pain in my legs from running. Kathleen was very nice and informative regarding the whole process. Once she went over any concerns I had...it was time for the acupuncture. I was a little nervous but as she said it was a little lunch and nothing else. You have an hour to relax while doing the procedure. You sit in a recliner, with nice waves in the background, with light coming just from the windows which allows you to relax. I was able to relax and feel some relief from my left knee. The relief is not immediate but if done over time it’ll provide relief. It’s on a sliding scale after the initial consultation and I plan to go back. With the running I do...I need some relief.

I started going for infertility and after just a couple months of regular weekly appointments I am expecting. Dr Kathleen is a miracle worker. I highly recommend Beachfront Acupuncture.

I can't say enough about how impressed I am with this acupuncture clinic. I feel so so so much better! I went from right lower back ache to real pain to shooting pain down my leg (it took a lot for me to seek help). After 3 sessions, a MONTH ago, I am still almost always pain free and when I am aching, it is just that: a little annoying ache when I stand up or get out of bed. I mean! You helped me so much Kathleen Ketola. Thank you thank you!!!

From start to finish, this was a fantastic experience! Kathleen has such a calming presence about her. She’s also so informative about the whole process and what to expect. The environment is also calming as well. There are salt lamps in various spots which I liked since we have them at home. The space is a shared space with others. It’s very quiet and there is calming music as well. You have up to a hour to chill once the needles are put in. Kathleen has a great touch so none of the needles really hurt. I already feel pretty good. I want to definitely go back!

I knew when this place had nothing but 5 stars, it had to be a good place to try acupuncture for the first time. I am so so so glad I found this place and Kathleen. Kathleen is really wonderful, extremely educated and definitely knows the art of Chinese medicine. She provides such an incredible way to make acupuncture accessible to everyone, something that can be so important when you are injured, sick, or suffering. Working with Kathleen helped heal my body after having a very difficult year. She helped me not only get back to 100%, but helped me feel better than I ever have. Today was my first time experiencing acupuncture. I have multiple issues and I’m amazed how we tapped into all of them in one session. I have more energy than I’ve had in weeks! I received food recommendations as well! This really works! I’m a regular now- just after one visit!

Ive been going to Beachside for almost a year now, my mom recommended it specifically because of the choose your price model. Im not working currently and couldnt afford the usual rates. Not only that everyone who works there is amazing. I go specifically to Xenia, just adore her. She has become a true friend to my mom and I. I moved to texas in 2020 and was used to acupuncture being easy to find in the PNW, there are offices and docs everywhere. Here its a bit more tough. Especially to find a place of such quality. I love the naturopath help they give on top of the acupuncture. I look forward to my visits so much and hope to start going again soon, I had a break due to a move. The focused care and the meditation of sitting for an hour is a great part of my week. Plus it helps so much with my specific issues.

Went to Kathleen at Beachside as a recommendation from my sister. Now BOTH of our parents are going! Kathleen is amazing in her interaction and method. She truly wants her patients to feel better and helps with a gentle hand. I felt 90% better after just ONE session! It's an amazing and wonder-ful medicine... and Kathleen has mastered it!

What a great place !!! The attention you get here is much more individualized , versus some of the chain acupuncture places around Dallas . A treatment with Kathleen is more like a doctor's visit . She takes the time to sit down with you prior to each treatment and go over what's working for you and to discuss any concerns . She's thorough and knowledgeable about Oriental medicine . You never feel rushed. The treatments you receive are very effective for whatever pain you're going through. Price-wise you get a longer treatment for cheaper than other places charge . She's the best , and the awards she has won confirm that. I had to interrupt my treatments because of some other issues, but I can't wait to get back there. 6 Stars !

I finally got up the nerve to pursue acupuncture treatment for my shoulder and wrist pain and chose Beachside Community Acupuncture, based on reviews on Yelp and Google. I appreciate the fact that it is made affordable by Kathleen. Being my first experience, I didn't know what to expect, but upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised at the clinic environment. I liked the "community" setting, where there are several recliners in a room decorated with beach scenes along with relaxing ocean wave background sound. Kathleen has a very precise and gentle technique when inserting the acupuncture needles. I didn't expect them so fine! I never felt pain or discomfort in any way. The hour session was extremely relaxing and although I wish I could say that my pain was eliminated, I did feel some relief. I plan on several more visits to keep driving the pain away. Kathleen knows her craft and is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend visiting this professional.

I am so grateful to have found Beachside Community Acupuncture. Kathleen was as professional and thorough as they come when gauging my health background and current concerns. It was my first acupuncture treatment and I am hooked! The atmosphere is soothing, meditative, and I left feeling quieted on a spiritual level. I cant begin to explain how much Kathleen has helped me with my treatment for Bells Palsy. My primary care physician and my Neurologist have not been able to get the results that Kathleen has. She is by far the best!!!
