Brought my brother here to celebrate his birthday. They treated us to delicious Turkish coffee and little cakes! The Syrian pistachio ice cream was amazing!

I drove all the way from Ann Arbor to try this place and I wasn’t disappointed! We tried the ashta ice cream made traditionally and it was amazing. It came with an almond cracker which was also delicious.

Stopped by on the way home for the first time. The place was much larger than I thought it would be. The service was very accommodating and nice. I ordered a Karak Tea with some soft baklava treats to go. The guy threw in a middle eastern cookie to boot. All was great! I'll be back to try their ice cream.

A unique yet delicious handmade pistachio ice cream! Fresh, creamy, and not too sweet. The owner was also very friendly. Will definitely try to come back!

The food was good but the service was so bad! I was asking questions because I'm not familiar with some of the language on the menu and I'm asking what's this word and I'm getting looks like I'm stupid and beyond simple answers like "that's a fruit salad". I know it's a fruit salad , I understand that part, it's the other words I don't. I wouldn't go back again even if the food is good.

There was a hair in my ice cream, worst adeni tea ever had, employee (extremely rude, unprofessional, looking clueless) doesn’t know anything about customer service. I wasn’t asking for free ice cream, he made it seem like i was. I have never had this bad of a customer service at Shams before. Very shocked and upset.

Enjoying a late night stroll in Farmington Hills, I was delighted to see this place was open. Extra clean 👌 with loving service. Beyond the profesional courtesy, their family treats you like family. I had a fudge ball, avocado smoothie, and some beautifully prepared dairy desert with pistachios, cherry, and shaved almonds. Sham Ice Cream & Coffee. The sun shines bright even at night!

Nice, clean and small desert place which is not that crowded. The food tastes excellent even though the options are limited. Loved the Turkish coffee even-though the fruit salad was average.

The ferrero rocher ice cream was good. My friend had kashta ice cream which was really good too.

I’m so glad I stopped by and ordered Arabic ice cream! The taste is very exquisite and the pistachios blend perfectly with its unique flavor! Also the place is decorated beautifully with a touch of Syrian heritage! Very lovely and cozy atmosphere!

Great coffee and crepes! Would like some non-dessert crepe options.

Was looking for a dessert place to go to after a dinner date and stumbled upon this cafe and was so glad we did. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. Our food tasted as incredible as it looked. I had the Cham ashta crepe and my partner got the banana roll. I also ordered the Turkish coffee which was stellar. Looking forward to returning to try something new from their wide variety of unique desserts!

Absolutely ridiculous service and staff. We were five. 2 adults and 3 kids, and only one person could taste one flavor. No, not one flavor per person, but all 5 of us could just taste one flavor. The person serving us refused to give us any more samples to taste. Would not have bought anything if I didn't have little kids with us, who were eager to just eat something sweet. Not coming here again - absolutely not!

Amazingly unique and delicious! I tried the traditional pistachio Ashta, and the rest of my family got milkshakes, rolled ice cream, and cones! All delicious. I do have to say though, my only complaint is the size of the ice cream scoop for the hand scooped ice cream was a tad small for the pricepoint in comparison to other local places. But not a deal breaker for me.

The cream they use is rich and smooth. Read a review of someone saying the ice cream wasn’t sweet enough, but it was perfect. Nice clean seating area.

We tried the Ashta Pistachio ice cream. It was just a plain vanilla (that did not taste fresh) topped with chopped pistachios. The wafer cookie shown in photos was not provided. No one to greet at the door, and no menu was displayed in the screens. 1/5 for taste. 2/5 for service.
