If I could give the restaurant 0 starts I would. My husband ordered takeout a couple time a month and every time for the past month they have been messing up the order. He orders the chicken tikka masala (medium heat). They give him mild. It’s been happening this whole month and I’m really upset tonight. Rice looks like from a left over biryani plate.Y’all just lost a loyal customer.

An order to carry out: We had ordered two of our four meals “ no spice.” Those two meals were too spicy to eat. I ended up rinsing off the sauce in a colander in order to eat any of it. On the enclosed list of items purchased, it showed these two as mild. They were NOT mild. It was a very disappointing meal.

Absolutely delicious! This has to be one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. They no longer do a buffet. This place is great for groups. I will be soon.

Nice and clean place, good service, but the food was cold, Samosa was oily (to much).

If you are looking for a well maintained Indian restaurant and want to try some amazing food this is the place. My favorite is grilled pomfret and goat curry. If you want to have a drink 🥃. They have a nice bar too. Must try place.

First of all the interior design of this place is worth the visit alone. Beautiful restaurant with great staff! We tried a lot: tandoori pomfret, tandoori platter, Garlic naan, Chicken tiki masala, pan puri, Veg biryani, Samosa, Idly & vada combo, Cheese dosa and moreeee. The garlic naan was delicious.

Not only the best Indian food in the area, the best food all around in the area! This restaurant is so consistent and the quality is superb. They have a very easy to navigate website and it makes ordering super easy. The food is always ready on time too.

We had a party of ten and wanted to have a variety of options as many in the party are vegetarians, so we decided on Indian food. This location had the most interesting looking website amongst the six or seven that are all nearby (within half a mile of each other!). Plus, they actually answered the phone when I called!!! So, I made the reservation and we stopped in. The initial look is not particularly promising as it is in back of another establishment and cannot be seen from Orchard Lake rd. Not only that, but there are signs all over the facade advertising a breakfast place, so I was getting a bit nervous. That is, until I walked in! First impression was the beautiful decor. There is a large glass wall separating one dining area from the other. It has water in it with a bubble machine and inserts so that the bubbles form geometric design. Lighted from below change colors to add to the look (see photo). Next good sign was that they were ready for us and immediately took us to our table. Final good first sign was that we were the ONLY Caucasian group in the place!!! :-) It took a bit to get our orders together as it turned out that most of the people in our party actually had never done much with Indian cuisine, but the waiters were patient and we eventually got there. I was happy to see the wide variety of dishes so that both my vegetarian and non-vegetarian folks could get what they wanted. When the food arrived ... wow!!! All the right flavors, amped up. There were all the spices you expect to come together in Indian dishes and then some. I was very impressed and enjoyed things immensely. My heat tolerance level is pretty high but many in the group are not fans of spicy food. We ordered everything at the medium level, and when it came, it was too much for some of the people. The excellent Mango and especially the Sweet Lassi saved the day. As we ate, I was monitoring who came in, and by the time we were done, the place was almost completely full. Aside for us, there were probably two dozen parties in this large place. Only us, and two other parties were not of Indian origin. This - to me - is an excellent indicator of the quality of the food - in addition to my own experiences. Overall, this was a very highly enjoyable dinner and I would really like to come back to enjoy more of their offerings.

I've eaten here quite a few times and always enjoy the food. It's my favorite Indian restaurant in the area and a couple of my Indian co-workers have spoken highly of it. I think they have a couple of different cooks, who kind of use their own recipes, as the flavor profile is different sometimes. Both are good but one is a bit more forward with cloves and cardamon, at least in the dish I usually order, which I like. They also use higher quality chicken than most. Lots of places use cubes of chicken breast that likely came frozen in a bag--here the chicken is more tender and less processed.

I ordered 2 plates of curry boneless chickn and one lamb kabob for take out . It was almost $20.00 for the lamb and $15.00 a plate for the chicken . First thing I noticed is the small portions of the order abd the small size of the plate . He gave the order to me in a small bag because it did not come with any side orders .usually Indian food comes with rice . When I got home the meat has no taste at all the chicken was bland so was the lamb we ended up throwing the food away after we ate a couple of bites . All what we were eating was spices . Wasted $60.00 . I don't recommend this restaurant at all. I love Indian food and had it many times before and I know what it tastes like.

Some of the best indian food I've ever had. Layers to the flavor where each ingredient jumps out at you and you savor every bite.

I ordered the Butter Chicken and tried some onion naan. It was perfect. Service was friendly and quick. Be careful if you're on a budget, as the prices are not low. The interior is very nice and makes for a good scene to catch up with your friends and family. The outside is not as well maintained. The parking lot is in rough shape and their signage is burning out. The sign appears to read "Indivors" which my friend Jon speculated is similar to being a carnivore, but of Indian food, rather than meat.

One of the best Indian food I have ever had in the USA. Their curries, appetizers, breads, and soups, all were really good. We went during the dinner time on a Friday evening. We ordered, paneer makhni, dal tadka, hot and sour soup, Gobi machurian, paratha, roti and naan. They also have a good selection of drinks. The service was very quick and the staff is also very courteous. We were a big group of 10+ people and the staff was very accommodative in finding us a big table. The ambience of the restaurant is also very lively. Highly recommend this place and will surely visit again when I am in the area.

Scorecard: A+ Try this: Ask for “NO SALT”. In my opinion, Salt hides the flavor . You’ll be surprised by the flavor without salt, very homemade ❤️ The best Indian food ever in state of MI.

I admire this restaurant! They prepare marvelous food, their menu is rich, The chief cook in that spot is a professional, I love a lot tasting all their food. The dishes are always good, the service towards the guests is very good too. I visit often this restaurant and I was never disappointed. I highly recommend it.

Typical Indian food. Buffet-style during daytime, a-la-carte during evening (after 6:30pm). I and my wife loved it, the food is fresh and flavors abound :) The place was very clean and the servers attentive, polite, and accommodating. Please NOTE that this is not really for children as most of their menu is spicy / condimented (children find this too spicy to eat) and that leaves just green lettuce leaves on the menu for the little ones. Leave the kids at home, unless they're already accustomed to curry, etc. The buffet menu was $20/each when we visited. We'd like to go again :)

  • 5/5 Bill M. 1 year ago on Google
Very good and thanks so much for bringing back buffet! Decent spice level and some choices not often on buffet. $20 for lunch is steep, bit been waiting so long for anyone to reopen buffet, I delt with it.

First time visitor to India flavors. The outside is very deceiving as the inside is very cool and welcoming. We went on a Friday night and it was full of Indian people which is always a good sign. The food was good. We ordered a chicken Tikka masala, Mughlai Methi Chicken, and garlic naan. The entrees were above average while the garlic naan left something to be desired. Would go back a second time to try another dish before making a final judgement.

Tried this Indian restaurant in Farmington hills area during my recent trip to Michigan. Was good food and ambience. Tried Appetizers, Masala dosa and some deserts. We enjoyed the experience and also service was good. I would go back again for trying more Indian food next time.

My 1st time having Indian Cuisine and i have to say it was excellent!! The lunch buffet was great. Unlike Golden Corral, it didn't fill me up that big. They had different varieties from vegetarian to non-vegetarian. The spice was actually kicking it probably from the tasty fried fish or the chutney sauce. Anways I loved their Tandoori Chicken and biryani. And their Naan was fresh. Even though it was somewhat pricey I still wouldn't mind coming back again. Good authentic Indian food and an awesome atmosphere and a friendly service !!

Very disappointed with my recent order. Ordered mix veg pakora, dal makhni , malai kofta and garlic naan for pickup order. Dal makhani was good but The pakora looked like they gave me leftover. There were no proper pakora’s in the box . No vegetables at all. All I received was besan chunks fried in oil. Also kofta’s gravy was green and doesn’t taste good at all. They mentioned using cashews for it but it doesn’t taste like that at all. Also the quantity of kofta curry($15.95) and Dal Makhni($14.95) is not enough as per they charge for it. I have tried kofta curry here before and it was different. Very disappointed .

I had a really good experience here. The service was good and the prices are reasonable. The proportions are kind of small for some dishes so definitely order a few dishes. We got the gobi Manchurian, butter chicken, pepper fried chicken, vegetable fried noodles and chicken tikka. Top two would be the chicken tikka and gobi manchurian. I was pretty disappointed with the pepper fried chicken, it did not have any black pepper taste to it and definitely didn’t taste like what the description said. It had a strong taste of another herb that I was not fond of. Also the medium spicy level was way too spicy for me and I definitely eat spicy food daily so I would start with mild spice level unless you can handle a lot of spice. They do have a buffet on the weekends. I have yet to try it but I’ve heard good things about it.

We wanted to try them for the first time tonight. We waited for 1.75 hours, waited at the counter for 20 minutes and finally just left. Terrible, don’t ever waste your time going here. Update: while I appreciate the owner reaching out... After our nearly 2 hour wait, we got to the counter, someone pulled up our grub hub order, we waited another 20 minutes at the front counter while the employees peeked out from the kitchen and refused to come speak with us. After 20 minutes of actively being ignored, another employee informed us that “ they didn’t have any grub hub orders, the app was broken”. How was this possible when 20 minutes earlier someone pulled up our order and showed us our receipt. Terrible customer service that the employees couldn’t even speak to their waiting customers and hid in the kitchen. Stay home, don’t waste your time here folks.

Kind of rude/not very helpful. Everytime I have been, I wait at counter for 5+ minutes and am given an ETA for the food which in my experience has not even been remotely close to accurate 1 time unfortunately. Good Luck

We have ordered take out from here three times during the pandemic. It has always been really good. I do agree with another reviewer here who said that there seem to be different cooks because we have also experienced the food having more flavor sometimes and being less spicy other times. Love the cardamom and different spices in the sauces. Great vegan options here!

05/15/20 Wonderful experience during the Covid19 lockdown. Happy that they had the takeout service. Waiting for them to open back up to try their Ambur Biryani. Best dishes to try here - Chicken Majestic - excellent taste Chicken Chettinad Vijayvada Chicken Biryani - comes with orange and yellow rice and also comes with potato The best part about this place is that they are near other Indian groceries, especially the India Grocers.
