I have tried to just let this go but I can’t put my recent experience at this hotel out of my head. I have stayed at this hotel four nights in the past year for business travel. The staff was very nice and the hotel is new and clean. I have also used their conference room which is nice. On November 23rd I needed to meet very briefly with a client in Farmington. I was traveling through town but not staying the night. I asked my client to meet me in the lobby. My client and her husband are Navajo. As soon as we entered and sat down in the lobby the manager informed us we could not meet there. I told her it would not take long and that I had stayed at the hotel several times since it opened. She asked who I worked for and I told her. She came back five minutes later to tell me her records didn’t show I stayed at the hotel more than two nights. She then asked when we were going to be done because she claimed she had group coming in 15 minutes that was going to use the lobby. I left abruptly with my client at this point not wanting to be interrogated and harassed any more. No group showed up, at least not in the 30 minutes after I left. I travel quite a bit. I often use hotel lobbies as a place to do quick business both when I am staying there and when I am passing through. I have never been treated this way by any hotel manager or staff. I feel we were asked to leave primarily because my clients were Navajo. Even if it was not racially motivated, we were treated very poorly. Anyway that was my experience and I will not be staying there this week when I am back in Farmington or ever again. I recommend the Towne place suites, courtyard Marriott or Hampton Inn if you are looking for a place.

We tried calling this hotel before booking but the phone rang continously. This hotel is one of the newest in Farmington but we found upon check-in the pool is closed for renovations? And has been since covid- but this info is not listed anywhere on their website. Needless to say our kiddos were quite disappointed. Also, elevators are freezing for some odd reason, rooms are small for the price, and pillows are extremely uncomfortable. Families stay elsewhere.

The stay was great and staff was welcoming until they weren't. I sat in the lobby area beginning at 8 am after our night stay to do some homework. The white woman Manager approached me twice. First she was polite, asking to clear the table of some trash left over from breakfast. A couple hours later she walked by several times, glancing at me, studying me (as I was finishing up & starting to pack my laptop away) until she finally approached me asking why I was still in the lobby. I explained I stayed the night and was waiting around for the rest of my party, meanwhile doing homework. She kept prying, asking what room I was in and if I was staying again because "the staff told her that there had been someone sitting in the lobby all day and they were concerned." That sounded and felt alot like harassment to me and I told her that. I had not been bothering anyone, simply minding my business. She told me, "after 12 pm you're no longer considered a guest so you need to leave." THAT was my experience, Marriott.

We got this room for our daughter and grandkids. They were driving back to Texas. They were treated very rude by the person checking them in. Also our daughter's credit card was hacked after they demanded she had to give them a card to get a room key. When they were too use our card on file for the deposit. Her card was hacked , some one tried to do two online charges at Target online for over $700 dollars! I would not recommend anyone stay here!

We had a lot of family in town for a funeral. As a result, we spent a lot of time in the common area where breakfast is usually served. Pam was always so nice and welcoming to us and never made us feel as if we had overstayed our welcome - even outside of the normal breakfast hours she still remained hospitable and offered us snacks and drinks. Also, Cody at the front desk was very helpful as one member of our party left a cell phone in his room. Cody secured the phone and made attempts via email and phone calls to ensure that the phone returned to us. This staff clearly goes above and beyond!

We took an impromptu trip up northwest from Albuquerque on Labor Day expecting to stay in Durango for a couple of nights. Turning out to be a surprise benefit, accommodations in Durango were impossible due to motorcycle rally. We ended up staying at this Fairfield location with our accommodations reserved by Denise, a pleasant young lady. It’s not the least expensive but it not the most expensive either. You deserve it, I recommend this location.

Feels like new hotel, but said it was 7 years old. Very nice rooms and common areas. Clean bathroom, shower only. Microwave and mini fridge.

GLOWING review! We were fortunate to stay at the Fairfield Inn by Marriot in Farmington, New Mexico. The desk people (who’s names I noted but cannot remember) were fabulous. They made us feel totally welcome, and were so cheerful and friendly. Especially, I have to mention PAM who oversees the breakfast area. Wonderful lady, runs a tight ship, and very attentive. The house keeping was excellent, the pool very nice, handicapped accessories as well. We were so pleased with our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Sincerely Don Hawks

I had a wonderful stay at the Marriott! The front desk employee was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, and the overall atmosphere of the area felt safe and secure. I couldn't have asked for a better experience during my stay. Highly recommended!

Upon check in, the front desk quoted me a lower rate, and when I noticed the next morning that they had charged me a higher rate, I questioned the person that was at the front desk (different person) and she wouldn't honor the lower price that I was quoted upon check in. Good location. Decent breakfast. Very clean room; however, there was a spider in my bed, and when I told the front desk, (the same person that refused the lower rate), she seemed less than concerned with my issue. Her lack of professionalism left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I won't be back.

The only thing I had a disagreement on was smoking cigarettes in the room. For as much as your paying. You would think you'll be able to smoke a cigarette in the room. Other than that everything was good, great service great place.

If you are a business traveler, AVOID THIS HOTEL! I am traveling for business and booked an employee rate. When I attempted to check in with my valid employee ID. I was told that the only available rate was $60 per night more than my reservation. Classic “bait and switch.”

I’ve been waiting to write a review after staying here for 3-4 nights a week for work for going on 3 months. The staff is what made me decide to continue to be loyal to staying here! From the beginning they accommodated me with my uncertain dates and made sure I was covered without tacking on extra fees. The front desk staff is excellent - I don’t remember all of their names but days, nights, the front desk ladies are super sweet and helpful. When I come in, they know me by name, wish me a good shift on my way out or a safe drive home, and that makes me feel incredibly at home. In addition, the sweet breakfast lady - Pam - is on top of it and makes sure to have everything stocked and greets everyone that walks in. She tells me good morning every time I get off work, asks how my shift went, and shows genuine interest in the guests that stay there. So homey and welcoming! Lastly, it’s a quiet hotel - they make sure to give me rooms away from the elevator so I’m able to sleep better during the day instead of being next to an elevator. Stellar service all around, and the reason why I’ll continue to keep coming here! Please let your staff know how amazing they have made my frequent stays here, they deserve the praise!

We highly recommend staying here. The rooms are nice and clean, the bathrooms are large, the beds are super comfy. The staff is lovely. Special shout out to Pam who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during breakfast. She is a gem 💎

Room was excellent clean, disappointed no working pool or hot tub, and front desk seemed not to be able to even try to stop a loud group partying and yelling loud enough we could hear them over our TV in our upper floor. Poor service when that was allowed for several hours. Mentioned at check out and felt there was a lack of concern.

BEST SERVICE EVER!!! I have never been more accommodated for my stay at any hotel. Thanks to Ms Dria at the front desk. She was very helpful and nice she made sure to fix any problems I might have had and went above and beyond to make sure me and my bestfriend enjoyed our stay . Ms. Dria was kind enough to upgrade my room after telling her we came to get in the pool only to find out the pool was closed. I love to get away and have a professional experience!

Just an ok, lower end Marriott. I was disappointed because I was told we had a suite (I am Titanium member and should get an upgrade if available) but we had a regular, small room - next to the elevator. It was actually the smallest room on the floor. My husband did not feel like moving rooms. But not the way to treat your loyal members!

Lauren is the Best. Very personable and Very helpful. She has a great disposition and she’s very mellow. Don’t lose Lauren ! I’m a titanium member and I’ve stayed at many Marriott properties. I’ve ran across good in bad at the front counter at check in and nobody’s been as pleasant and helpful as Lauren.

My daughter and I had rooms there for three days while visiting. Front desk staff was great! Always a smile and greeting. Cody gave us restaurant recommendations and he was right on suggestions. Simon needed to fix a little thing in the room, and he was so kind and friendly. Greeted us if we passed by each other. We will be returning next year!!

Rooms are very nicely set up. The perfect suite, and firm mattress, office desk with a couch and plenty of phones to use in both areas. 2 televisions both are 4k too. Big bathroom and big shower stall. Mini fridge and microwave, small platform for coffee and ice bucket. Just a well set up room, all flowing to the bed or couch, very inviting. Will stay here again!
