I would not recommend Drakeshire to anyone. When I moved in in 2020, my apartment was filthy as if they had not cleaned it prior to me moving in. The neighbors are terribly inconsiderate as they leave food, trash, shoes, and other belongings in the hallways and other common areas (pictured below). They leave their doors open 24 hours a day where you can see food smeared on their walls, food and bugs all over the carpet and kitchen floor. The building was also infested with roaches (pictured below) and neighbors continued to keep their food and trash in the hallway. They allow their kids to play in the hallway loudly at any time of day or night (picture & video below). On several occasions, I have came to my car with dents and finger prints from their kids playing, throwing rocks, and riding bikes in the parking lot (pictured below). Management threatened to take action against neighbors several times by placing notes on the doors but they never did anything. The windows are poorly sealed allowing rain and bugs to come into the apartment (pictured below). Lastly, There is only 1 washer and dryer for the entire building to share and many times it was broken down causing me to go to the laundromat several times a month. The list of horrors from this place could go on and on for days. I will attach pictures below as it will not allow me upload any videos that I have of my neighbors being so loud in the hallway that I cannot talk on the phone or work from home.

These apartments are terrible, the residents do not care about any inconvenience to other residents such as screaming, running through parking lots scratching cars. Management also could not care less about resident comfort.

This was my first apartment, and I am pleased with it. The apartments are spacious with a lot of storage, including storage outside of the unit, though I never used that. Admin and maintenance have always been responsive. Very little issue with pests and the like. Never hear anything from the other apartments through the walls, though if they are in the hallway you will hear them. I did have a few issues, one where our AC was out near the beginning of summer. It took a few visits from maintenance and eventually they had to call in outside contractors to replace the entire unit. Additionally, the shower water pressure is not great. On the plus side, the water gets hot quickly. My main issue is the laundry situation. There is one washer/dryer for the 8-unit building, and they are small. It costs 2.00 to wash and 1.75 to dry. Plus to fill up the laundry card you have to go to the leasing office, there's no app or machine in the building. The kitchen is pretty small, especially if you have to keep things on the counters. The location is great, you could walk to downtown if you wanted to (like a half mile), there's a 7-11, Rite Aid, and Busch's within walking distance and a good amount of restaurants as well. The mail boxes can be pretty far, but I found it tolerable when I signed up for Informed Delivery through USPS so I didn't walk across the complex to an empty mailbox. I also like how relatively small the complex is. No matter what building you're in you're not far from one of the exits.

Rentals are cheap compare to other communities. Indian groceries and restaurants are very near. Indoor swimming pool need some maintenance. Apartments are very old but maintenance is good. They need to increase no of washing machines and replace the old ones with new ones.

Stayed here for 1 year. Really enjoyed my stay. Very minimal maintenance and maintenance was quick too. Lady in leasing office (Sunetra) is really helpful and kind.

I’m giving this review after living 3.5 years in Drakeshire apartments. This is an awesome community with everything (Groceries, restaurants..etc) available with in 2-5 mins walking distance. So many kids to play with your kids, Near by schools, family environment, in door & out door pool, gym, good maintenance and reasonable rent and no hidden charges. Last but not least Friendly staff and manager.

Management doesn’t care about work tickets put in and won’t respond to emails trying to schedule maintenance, but they go around and tell everyone they’re not allowed to have wreaths or any decorations on their doors.
