I was there for an elementary school field trip. They did a nice job engaging the children and helping them understand early American life better.

A wonderful glimpse of early day life in Farmington, CT. Our docent was very informative and shared her passion for the history of the house.

All the flowers were labeled and the displays were well maintained. The volunteers were knowledgeable and helpful and my wife and I learned the history of the area and about what it was like to live in the early days of our country.

I visited today with a supported individual and it was excellent! It is seemingly accessible to many with intellectual disabilities and keeps you intrigued throughout the tour. The garden is beautiful and the historical significance is more than I realized was in Farmington. The woman who gave the tour was highly educated on the house and was so delightful! I highly recommend!

My family and I are visiting from out of town and we enjoy historical tours that are able to show us a glimpse into the foundation of early America. Andy and Christy did a wonderful job showing us around the house and answering any questions we had about its past or way of life around the time. I would highly recommend stopping in for a tour if you are in the area and hope it’s as an enjoyable time as it was for us :)

Thank you Andy and Cristy for making this vist with my family a truly amazing experience! We arrived close to closing, and these folks re-opened the store and stayed nearly an hour late to give us a fantastic, private tour. I cannot possibly say enough good things about the experience. Thank you all so much!
