We booked our room and were really excited because we stayed here when this hotel was first built and it was amazing. Our first room smelled like pee and the mattress had visible lumps in it. We switched rooms and the next one definitely smelt better and there was no lumpy mattress but the couch had stains all over it. We were on our way to St. George and we originally were going too book in Salt Lake City because it’s a halfway point for our trip, but we decided to pay more money and actually be further away from our halfway point because we remembered this place being great and it’s sad to say it’s gone downhill. Very disappointed and will not book again.

I thought the bed being uncomfortable was going to be the only thing wrong. The staff that greets you coming and going are super friendly and nice. The staff that does the breakfast is rude and snippy. I asked a simple question about their toaster and got a snippy response like I should’ve know and it was a dumb question. I’ve never used a toaster like theirs before. Oh my child and I were also in her way apparently because we were told to move not asked told. My autistic child grabbed her bagel and I didn’t see that she used her hands the employee started her encounter with us by saying pretty snippy as if we’ve been bother her and she was annoyed “us the tongs!” I proceeded to apologize and showed my child how to use the tongs to get her bagel the employee decided it would be appropriate to say “good job!” to me in a condescending tone. When we went back to get coffee I couldn’t find anyone to let them know they were out (I get it they’re busy) so we stood there for a bit and the same employee came back out and I decided I would rather walk to Starbucks then talk to her again. We will never come back here again.

I made an error by giving my credit card for my reservation to attend a wedding in September 2021. I cancelled my trip and called the hotel and airlines more than 24 hours ahead of time. The airlines gave me back an E-TICKET, but not the Hyatt, they charged me $746.47 FOR NOT STAYING THERE!!! I explained to them the situation but they did not care. What was advertised as a 24 hour cancellation is NOW A 72 HOUR!!!!!. If you reserve a room there, DO NOT GIVE A CREDIT CARD!!! They will not even help me bring down the charge. Sorry Grandmas and Grandpas, don't stay at the HYATT PLACE IN FARMINGTON. Not for seniors.

You guys! WHY ARE THE BLANKETS AND SHEETS THAT HARD AND CRUNCHY!?!? You have a very nice and expensive hotel. Your ONLY job is to provide comfort to your guests. We're really paying that much to sleep in a bed that feels like the sheets, pillowcases, and blanket have been soaked in gallons of starch and thrown right on the beds!? We came here to get away, we are new parents and needed a night together to rest and get a full nights sleep. I slept maybe 2 hours because it felt like I was rolling around in sandpaper so it completely defeated the point of us going and was a waste of money. Please fix this! You can definitely afford good bedding!!

We love this place for a staycation. It has restaurants and shopping, spas, a movie theater, and activities right on site. We just park and can do everything within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and clean and modern. The views of the mountains or the mall are cool. We've stayed here 4 or 5 times and will keep coming back. The gym has all the essentials and a good amount of space for doing exercises. The breakfast is nice in the morning too. Great for a quality stay if you're traveling or just want a local escape.

Great rooms, great service but horrible food. We had a 9:45 reservation for breakfast. We got ther at 9:40 and was left with food scraps. No idea if we arrived too early but it was only 5 mins. We also ordered food the night before. We needed a little food as we havent eaten for a while and had a reservation at 8:30. The food took 45min for two small things. We ordered at 5. I really like this Hotel but the food was just not what we expected. Would really like to see this improved. Even so i would still recommend this Hotel if you are ok with getting food elsewhere.

Overall it is a clean nice hotel. My room was spotless. It’s hard to find parking near the hotel entrance. The front desk staff was so rude. We checked in on Friday July 29th. She was so unfriendly. We asked if we could have rooms together and she put us at opposite sides of the hotel. Not even the same hallway. She acted put out that we even asked. Didn’t give us any information about the hotel or anything she asked “did you want the complimentary breakfast?” We said yes. She said we had to give her a time to come eat. Like she implied we wouldn’t get breakfast if we didn’t give a time. Honestly that’s terrible customer service. I’m there for vacation and relaxing I’m not there to show up for breakfast at 7am sharp. The coffee had floaters in it? Don’t know why… everytime I walked in the lobby a ton of young people were standing laughing and drinking at the front desk. Just kind of unprofessional like the hotel is being ran by high school kids. So that’s about how the experience went. Honestly I’ll just stay at the Hampton across the highway next time this wasn’t worth the extra cost.

Wonderful hotel! Very New and love the natural light it takes in at the lobby and in the room. Also very clean. Had no problem finding parking at all. Conveniently located and many great shops and restaurants nearby. The front desks were very helpful and answered all our questions. Extremely satisfied with our stay and grateful for this hotel as we were impacted by a snowstorm.

Solid offering by Hyatt. The mattresses are a decent medium firm, with small but comfortable pillows. All the usual supplies are available, and they opted for a large shower rather than a two in one.

Real nice layout and rooms... Breakfast sucked. No free Coffee at lobby.. you have to buy, basically no amenities just breakfast and it is just a bagel... Pool and hot tub are nice.

Great location, rooms are clean and spacious. Really appreciated the TV's supporting casting. Breakfast was quality and well stocked. All around great place to say.

Family didn’t end up staying. We booked the day before but the cancellation has to be before midnight the day before the stay. Charged full price. I’d rather book with hotels that are easier to work with.

Very nice, new, clean hotel. Front desk staff were very polite and helpful. Great location, easy, close parking, Mall right behind the hotel for some extra enjoyment. Try one of the local restaurants, they are amazing.

This hotel was very nice and clean. They also accepted my 2 cats for a pet fee. Unfortunately, the hotel parking is small, but it's in a shopping center with another large parking lot right next to it as well as street parking all around the building. There are some shops in a walking distance from here too. We stayed here just for the night, and it was very enjoyable.

UofU-Farmington (medical procedure) so booked Hyatt-Farmington. UofU changed venue to Main Hospital, SLC week before procedure. Spoke to ‘Reservation’ & ‘Farminton’ & would not transfer to Hyatt closer to procedure. I offered documentation that this was out of my hands…. There is a similar review with ER stay- wished I knew in advance of the lack in Customer Service. Charging full price whether I can get that far or not. In future, I’ll book with hotels that are easier to work with. Looking at other ‘reviews!, Management responses, they don’t seem to care (no change in police).

Over a dozen family stayed here for a week. It's a perfectly situated hotel on a mall plaza, with plenty of shopping and dining options even for the pickiest of eaters within walking distance. You can use the hotel card at quite a few spots for a dining discount. Rooms were comfortable for larger groups, and lobby was just large enough to accommodate ad-hoc family meetings.

Room was very clean, views were beautiful, the breakfast was great, and the staff was very friendly. I would stay again. It's also walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

located in shopping district. Easy to access for movie entertainment to bisto dining. Only thing bothering was view. Wasn't great because my room had a view over the lobby area's roof and air conditioner. Sraff was very friendly. Especially a young lady at the front desk and a lady at thr bar are so kind

It great proximity to shopping, restaurants, and lagoon amusement park! We felt the room could have been cleaner but the hotel itself was pretty nice.

Very unhappy with my experience. They bought a room, but my wife wanted two nights. They only had one night available…so we asked for a refund to go to their other location (more expensive)…but they refused to refund me even though they charged me 5 mins before…Their managers aren’t empowered to help their guest and they needed to go “2 levels” higher to get approval. I’m happy to remove this review if we can get this issue resolved with a refund. It was a terrible customer experience.

Best hotel in the area! Actually comfy beds, and a good breakfast with the kindest breakfast bar staff around! Give him a raise! Hotel room was spacious and well taken care of! Great view & our Bulldog was quite comfortable!

This the dirtiest hotel. The bed covering had stains in it. The floors were filthy i wore my shoes the whole time. It was dusty. The shower was old and crummy. The room where the food was served was sticky, old and dirty. The entrance rug into the hotel was dirty the stairs going up to the check in were gross full of stains and dirt. Shocked that people gave this hotel any good reviews. So disappointed because we stay at the Hyatt place in st george and its great. Please fix this location its giving Hyatt a bad name. Staff was nice though.

Wonderful place to stay! Room was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable and cozy. Amazing location - you can walk everywhere! So much shopping to do! Hotel was well decorated. Plenty of parking. Nice gym and pool. Service was exceptional! Had great service from Elizabeth at the front desk. She was friendly, helpful and an excellent barista! Highly recommend, will be staying here again.

We ended up booking a room we never stayed in because an emergency came up. I was really worried we would have to pay for a room we never stepped foot in. The general manager was a great guy to work with. I appreciate his kindness. I will say I have stayed at this hotel before and it is a nice hotel. I would stay there again!

Breakfast is way below expectations. We came to Salt Lake City for spring break and stayed in 3 different hotels. This one has great facilities. It’s located in a mall which is the first time for us. The experience was great. The room is clean and fairly spacious. But the breakfast experience is bad. Dirty plates, over baked bacons, less food choices (compare to the Marriott we stayed the day before), horrible coffee. I have stayed with Hyatt in many states and countries. I was really looking forward to the breakfast. But a bummer! What a disappointment!

Very disappointed. Had reservations for our anniversary to spend the weekend there. Day of, we ended up in the ER with our 1 year old. Called the hotel to cancel or move to another weekend. They refused. Not even with proof of why we could not stay on the original date. Expedia reached out on our behalf as well, with no avail. Will not ever give them our money again.
