We stayed in Lagos for 2 nights and heard Céu was a good place for dinner. What we didn't know was that we were going to LOVE the food and owners so much that we would even cancel our earlier train the next day to go back for lunch! The first time we had the chef's signature menu. Here we were first amazed with the well balanced portion sizes, as well as the amount of flavour presented on each plate. It really felt like a scavenger hunt, trying all the different ingredients. 😍 We were also well tended to and received dedicated attention from Jen. We very much enjoyed the open kitchen setting and enjoyed the interaction with the chef (Sky) and the kitchen staff. The next day we went for lunch and ordered a la carte. This time we tried a few new things all of which were divine! We had a great time and even had to rush at the end to catch our train. All in all, we highly recommend having dinner here! The price to quality ratio is amazing. The food is well timed, personal and energetic service, friendly people and an overall good vibe. We would describe the food as South American and Asian with a Caribbean twist!✨

The name of the restaurant is appropriate because I feel like I'm in heaven indeed. The food is creative and delicious. The space is welcoming and pleasant. The staff is super nice and conscientious. I will definitely return next time I am in Faro, especially because I want to try all the desserts.

I had an incredible meal at Céu. Sky and Jen were an amazing and friendly team with a delicious menu. I had the Thai fish cake and a pulled pork arepa for starter which were both excellent. I’ve had arepa’s in Venezuelan restaurants and these were a twist on the original which I personally preferred to the originals. For main, the pork belly is a must accompanied by local greens, coconut rice and I ordered some plantain chips which were cooked to perfection. Finally save room for dessert, both the crispy banana with ginger cookie crumble and Oreo blondie were fantastic. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly and Sky served up easily the best meal in my 10 day stay in Portugal.

Dining at Céu for our last night in Faro exceeded all expectations. Service was timed perfectly and Jen explained each dish and answered all questions we had. They took special care of me as a vegan with an allergy, as well. The food arrived promptly and the flavour profiles were exquisite. I recommend each item we ordered - for the vegans… the black bean arepa with no cheese, the celeriac steak, and the fusian cotta for dessert. My partner got the pulled pork arepa, fried calamari, jerk chicken, and the banana dessert (with ice cream on the side so I could share 🤎). We both will absolutely be dining with Céu on our next visit to Faro and highly recommend it to anyone with dietary restrictions or typical eating habits, alike!

The chef is from Curaçao and the menu is reflective of the Caribbean as well as Asia and South American fusion. I ordered the jerk chicken as my main and the pulled pork arepas and fried calamari for my starter😋 my spouse is vegan and was able to have an extremely tasty and beautifully plated meal as well. Highly recommend this for date night or small groups.

What a hidden gem a small intimate restaurant run by a lovely young couple Sky and Jen who are passionate about their food and service. The food was excellent we started with the satay chicken which was very tasty then we followed with the belly pork and the loin of pork both absolutely mouth watering. The deserts were a delight as well the pastry chef has created some wonderful delights we could have eaten all of them. My wife is gluten free and I can honestly say this is the best restaurant we have ever eaten in that caters for no gluten. I would highly recommend a visit if your in Faro

Fast service: 5/5 Friendly service: 5/5 Tasty food: 5/5 Value for money: 5/5 This place has both amazing food and amazing service, in my experience, very rare combination. I loved that the place has seasonal menus, you can visit multiple times and always be surprised. Dishes are prepared with attention to detail, and tastes fuse beautifully. You can also see the meticulusness in the way they are served. Service is beyond great, the small but mighty crew of just three (!) make you feel at home. Pictures: South American cheese (starter), pork belly, filet mignon, grilled octopus (main dishes), japanese cheesecake (dessert), matcha Mohito (cocktail).

The best dining experience in Faro! We stumbled across Céu via google reviews and thought we should give it a shot. It did not Disappoint! Chef Sky went above and beyond to create some incredible food for us. We had 4 courses. My favourite was the spicy marinated prawns and the Pork Belly Main. The flavours were so well thought out and the combinations complimented each other beautifully. The pork was cooked to perfection, super juicy inside and slightly crisp on top, bursting with flavour. Best pork ive ever had hands down. The dessert was also fantastic, the fried plantain and Japanese cheese cake were phenomenal. Jenny, the front of house was incredibly helpful with our questions and very knowledgeable about every dish that came out and also recommended fantastic drinks pairings to go with each course. My brother is also Gluten intolerant which is never easy to cater for, but Chef Sky catered for his requirement's with the utmost carefulness and consideration. Highly Recommend anyone dines at Céu. I tried several different restaurants in the area over my weeks stay and id say that without a doubt restaurant Céu served the best food in the Faro region.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant and would highly recommend it. The service was exceptionally kind and considerate. Each dish we tried was simply delicious, with an impressive blend of flavours and textures. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful Asian influences. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Absolutely wonderful. Only able to try 3 dishes but I plan to come back ASAP. A must try. Fantastic food and service. Ok came back with some coworkers for dinner. The food was as fantastic as what I had at lunch. With about a week remaining in Faro I plan to try everything on the menu ( and a few things twice)

Can’t even describe well how happy and satisfied I was with the food. Service is amazing, the girl and the chef are supportive and welcoming. The food is incredible tasty. I took the photo of the starter, after I tasted it I forgot about my phone, so no more photos available. But the place is amazing and I might say that is the first place in my life left me with such amazing feeling because of the food and of the employees in the restaurant. Wish them all the best! And if you are a tourist here you must visit this place!!!!!! Portugal really cares about the food! If not Portugal at least Restaurant CÈU. PS. Even the photo of starter wasn’t successful because hands started to shake after seeing how beautiful it’s served 😅

Beautifully presented dishes that are original and tasty. Attentive service and staff working in an open kitchen concept. The menu is focused on a few dishes that are a mix of Portuguese, Asian and South American influences. The owners speaks english. Reasonable prices for the experience (56€ for 2). I will visit again!

This restaurant should be on your list if you visit Faro! Flavorful and honest food that cover all of your tastebuds beautifully. All around a strong menu that has interesting items, with the tuna and the banana desert being our favorite. Friendly, young and open staff that still maintain their professionalism throughout the whole meal.

My friend and I came here and had the most wonderful time!! We can’t recommend it enough. Everything the hostess, chef, and dessert chef did had so much thought out into it. For some INCREDIBLE food, the prices were quite modest. The dishes we had included the Thai quinoa salad, octopus, green tea mojito, Ceu signature cocktail. There were multiple vegan and vegetarian options as well.
