Very kind owner who takes the time to explain every dish. Fresh and delicious local food. We tried different tapas-like dishes and would recommend that. Would love to visit this place again.

This place is amazing! Incredibly kind and welcoming owners, delicious (and very affordable) local food prepared with love. I ordered squid in mustard sauce and an apple crumble for desert, both were simply delicious. I only regret that I discovered this restaurant on my last day in Faro... But this is the reason to come back :)

What an amazing place. So homely, so genuine. This feels like visiting with your uncle and auntie to have a home cooked meal. The owner is ever so welcoming. The food is simple and full of flavour. A lot of the ingredients are fresh from the farms in the area. I cannot recommend this enough. Definitely my favourite place in Faro.

food - 5 service - 5 price - 4 The food here was great, we tried a few of the dishes and they where all delicious. (The only bad thing was some of the toastinias with the oven cheese where stale) but apart from that everything was amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful, this place lives up to it rating. The price is very good for Faro (€7-9) for a tapas dish which is delicious and a good size. We also had desert 'doce da avó' which was a tasty treat to finish off. The atmosphere was fairly quiet and simple, it feels like a very typical portuguese restaurant, nothing fancy here, just good food. I will definitely come again next time I'm in Faro.

The food highlight of our trip! We went for dinner with our 4 months old baby, the owner and his wife were super welcoming and sweet, the food was just amazing! Real typical Portuguese food, cooked in a very traditional way. Everything is fresh and delicious. Prices are super onest, like anything else, including the owners. We loved it! Really lovely place with home cooked simple fresh food. The service was lovely and very genuine. This was our favorite place in faro, and when we were there there was a large table of locals having a meal out which is always a good sign. The goats cheese we had for a starter was beautiful and freshly made that morning. Everything is rustic and simple but delicious. And amazing home made cheesecake for dessert. Seek this place out!

This traditional Portugees Tapas place with home made dishes deserves a big fat 5. The owner was very friendly. The prawn with garlic was fabulous (6 out of 5). The other dish was a bit greasy 4/5. Will definitely visit this place next time if I am around :)

Absolutely bangin food, every dish was delicious and the chef was extremely kind and had jokes and spoke pretty decent English. Would absolutely come back and had a great time!

Words can’t express what an amazing time my girlfriend and I had at this place. The owners went above and beyond - explaining the menu, quick service, and even getting me a tea and a cough sweet when I mentioned I had a sore throat. The food itself was also delicious, with everything clearly made fresh and from scratch. The cake especially, which was amazing and had been made that morning. It was also incredibly good value. They were so sweet, and I’ll make sure to highly recommend this place to anyone visiting faro. Thank you!

It is a local restaurant. They serve great tapas and delicious wine. Don't expect a fancy place, it is real authentic place. I can really recommend the cheese from the oven. If you visit Faro and like traditional tapas, make sure to visit this place.

Stumbled upon this restaurant randomly and We are so glad we did. It was honestly the best experience and food we had! It was like being at your grandma’s house. On top, It so cheap aswell! Juan and his wife are so genuine. The food is delicious, definitely should try the prawns piri piri. I can’t recommend this place enough. I wish they had enough reviews to highlight that.
