Best place to get fresh fish (and seafood) in Faro! It opens at 7am and the best is to go as early as possible! It has fish stands, fruits, dried fruits, honey, bread, charcuterie, big variety of cheese, butcheries, restaurants and coffee shops. The Market has parking and a supermarket on the -1 floor. If you make any purchases at the supermarket they’ll give you a ticket for free parking.

Indoor market. You can find there fresh fish and seafood, tase of sunshine in all the vegetables and fruit, there’s a bakery and coffee shops too. Full of locals not many tourists. Worth a visit, specially when on a budget holidays or self catering. We loved it, and went back for our little shopping everyday.

Great market, true Portuguese experience. All of the vendors were extremely friendly and were patient if you did not speak Portuguese. We picked up items from multiple vendors to attempt to avoid bad product, but it wasn’t necessary it was all perfect! Personal suggestion PORTUGUESE CHERRIES! Amazing! And of course seafood!

Small but dense market with lots of fresh produce, fish, meat, and baked goods. Exceptional bread available here. Lots of things for locals and tourists alike. Between the reasonably priced cafes/restaurants and the many market vendors, you are sure to be able to eat to your heart's content. There is also a supermarket downstairs.

Really good place in Faro to buy very fresh fish, shrimp, octopus among other seafood. Also fruits and vegetables. You can find some products made in Algarve, buy flowers or get your clothes repaired. Besides, there are cafes and restaurants wjere locals hang out.

Really good place for getting a daily or weekly shop! Especially for tourists they have everything, including vegan and gluten free (and good selection too) you just have to look around. They also have a selection of cafes which are nice. Just remember to weigh your fruit and vegetables and print off a sticker before paying as everyone was judging us for not knowing this!

Nice to see this marketplace and see all the local portuguese produce. All looks very fresh. The atmosphere and neighbourhood aren't very lively tho but it's nice to see where locals buy their groceries. Good to walk around for a bit.

Get there early for the freshest fish of every variety from several shops, freshest meat cuts, hams, sausages from various butchers, theres bakeries, sweet shops, many veg stores, flower shops and neat little spots for a cafezinho and a bite to eat. Plus huge Auchon supermarket stocked with everything one may need or imagine at fair prices.

As markets go, it's really small and more for home good shopping than lunching. Has bread, fruit, and loads of fish and little else

Lots of small stalls selling variety of things from fruit and vegetables, honey, fish, nuts, cheese and other items. It’s worth a visit and not really touristic as many locals visit there which is nice. There are also small cafes, restaurants and bakeries.

Lots of market stores, big underground parking lot. Plenty of cafes and restaurants. The main centre for the SEF. You can also pay water, electricity and has the vehicle registration centre.

We were at market in Lisbon and Lagos. This place in faro has a lot of fresh seafood and vegetables stalls. They also have snails

The market is only okay. But the building also has an Auchon downstairs and government agencies upstairs. Social Security, Licencing, Citizen Desk, Via Verde, and some aspects of SEF. Security points you in the right direction and keeps things organized. About 10 minutes walk to the IMT or the Marina. A few Cafes on site.
