Great time great host! Thank you Jean Paul for pampering us so well. The place is idyllic with the pool surrounded by palm trees, the room is spacious, clean and modern and our host has always an eye for details: a great breakfast, along with a different homemade cake every day. A perfect place to enjoy quality time and sightseeing.

Casa Apollo is a wonderfully designed, comfortable and friendly place to stay. The rooms are light and airy, and most have beautiful views of the garden and pool area, which looks like a tropical haven with its plants, whitewashed walls and glimmering pool, with total privacy from the outside world. The homemade juices (many from the garden fruits!) and cakes make it feel like you're staying with friends. It's close to the marina and shops and bars/cafes - perfect to explore the local area. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing time visiting Faro over Modernist Weekend at Casa Apollo. The room was huge, comfortable, quiet and really lovely. The location was in walking distance to everything I needed. And the service........ Jean Paul is a fabulous host! Homemade jams, apple beignets, delicious breads! When I mentioned I liked crepes with Nutella, the next day JP made them! How fantastic is that?! I highly recommend Casa Apollo and the fantastic Jean Paul!

We had a wonderful stay. Our host was helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was very good, and we could easily walk where we wanted. The common areas were beautiful, simple and organic spaces. We enjoyed it; our room and bed were comfortable. Our only changes would be the pillows and mosquitos outdoors by the pool.

We had the loveliest stay at Casa Apollo Guesthouse! The location is perfect and just a very short walk from lots of restaurants and shops. Staying here made checking out all of the local museums and sights super easy and convenient. We couldn't believe how peaceful and quiet it was, despite the central location. Our room was beautiful and spotless. The view from the window to the garden and pool is gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious and included lots of vegetarian and non-dairy options. Management and staff were kind, helpful, and welcoming. I would highly recommend staying here!

Everything about our stay was wonderful, from the warm reception to the amazing pool/gardens and the breakfasts. A short walk to bars and restaurants and located in a quiet area. When looking at the cost, we calculated incorrectly (wrong currency) so our total stay was more that we would ever have spent. That said though, we wouldn’t change a thing, even if we could. We had a fantastic time and created beautiful memories

We stayed at the Apollo Guesthouse in Faro for a long weekend and it was fabulous. Our room was beautiful, very stylish, comfortable and peaceful, with a view of the garden with its exotic shrubs and trees. There is a small pool in the garden which is the perfect temperature and afterwards you can lie by the pool on a deckchair with a view and scent of flowering shrubs and a lemon tree. The breakfast was delicious and was served on the very picturesque terrace, and our hosts were helpful and friendly, and provided us with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

Stayed here with my girlfriend for 5 nights. Really enjoyed it. The owner has done a really good job in making it a relaxed and peaceful place to stay. Breakfast was great, home made breads and pastries every morning and fresh fruits etc. I highly recommended.

10/ 10 does not suffice, nor does 11. Run by passionate, warm people, Casa Apollo Guesthouse is exemplary. The breakfast is truly special. A little slice of paradise, there's no room for improvement. Thank you for such a wonderful babymoon. Xxx

A wonderful spot! Great location, walking distance to everywhere and the garden and pool is a real oasis, so quiet and peaceful! The rooms are bright and airy, and the shower was really powerful. Breakfast was delicious and Jean Paul and his team are so helpful. I would highly recommend this spot.

Great location, clean rooms, good space in suite, newly built/renovated. overpriced in my view. Breakfast rules (need to book one of 4 time slots) not conducive to a laid back holiday. Not a place to go if you enjoy the comforts of air conditioning. A/C is available and new but not powerful and automatically switch off in middle of night(not to mention one is subtly discouraged to use a/c, evidenced by body language and overheard comments between staff). On a windy night, with a little bit of ingenuity you can create a draft with furniture propping up doors and windows, however, that exposes you to noise of nearby bars. Sister(I think?) of owner is super friendly, welcoming and kind. Soundproofing, in general, is not the best but not the worst either. Staff may want to know that all their conversations can be overheard when they are talking in the kitchen. I’ve been highly critical because at this price point my expectations were very high. For me, a more appropriate price point would be the low season price all year round. I did not have breakfast so unable to comment on food. Small improvements that would improve value and upgrade the stay : 1) more towels 2) box of tissues 3) larger towels 4) complimentary minibar rather than current paying one 5) improved(better smelling and lather) soap/bath products 6) headboard on bed 7) consider another, more laid back breakfast timing setup. 8) door stops in rooms 9) information sheet on local restaurants 10) make guests feel comfortable to make requests. Most of these suggested areas of improvement are based on value expectations for the set price point.

Jean Paul was a perfect host at Casa Apollo Guest House! He offered wonderful recommendations to us, which we were grateful for, in addition to being so kind and welcoming. Our room was spacious, clean, beautiful, with thoughtful details. Our breakfast was amazing. The interior courtyard is dreamlike. Highly recommend!

This place is a small paradise within the city. The room are immaculate and very tastefully decorated. I loved the beautiful garden and the very warm pool. The breakfast has a lot of choices and great variety. We felt very welcome by the french owner. We hope to visit again soon.

Lovely, quiet, light, carefully restored guesthouse away from the body restaurants and bars, yet very central. Sunny courtyard garden. Steps up to guestrooms are narrow.

The guesthouse has been designed with great taste and attention to detail and offers its guests an unforgettable experience. The breakfast is exceptionally delicious and the hosts are very charming. The only complaint is that we could not stay longer.

Location is perfect, in the center, still very calm. The place is a little heaven in the very town center. Hospitality of the staff is absolutely perfect. One more thing, the breakfast are fabulous :)

I usually stay here when I am working in Faro. Discovered this place during the pandemic. The house is amazing, room have plenty of space with good decoration. Breakfast in the garden is my favorite of all and Jean Paul makes people feel like they’re at home.

Wonderful stylish guesthouse in Faro in short walking distance to charming streets in the old part of the city with restaurants and cafés. We were travelling as a couple in late August, and had an excellent stay. The guesthouse is completely renovated in a minimalistic and tasteful style, modern while keeping an authentic feel. We stayed two nights in the suite, which was spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated. The suite has two rooms, with the bedroom having a gorgeous view from the French balcony, overlooking the lush garden surrounding the pool and courtyard. The other room is facing the street, with lots of natural light, has a sofabed, TV and a nice writing desk (it also has a minibar, which was complimentary on the day of arrival). Furniture, decorations and plants in the suite were carefully picked out to give the lush jungle-feel that was the subtle theme of the interior design of the room. It was very quiet at night, despite the central location. Everything is very well maintained. The homemade breakfast was incredible (with several vegan options too) and Jean Paul and his staff are making sure you will feel most welcome and at home. We enjoyed our freshly prepared breakfast in the beautiful courtyard surrounded by banana palm trees, papaya trees and flowering greenery. You are asked to sign up for breakfast at a specific time-slot, which ensures a relaxing and non-crowded experience. A great place to relax and unwind if travelling without kids, and a good location for exploring the Algarve. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

An oasis of calmness in the center of Faro. Everything is perfectly arranged and the room was spacious and sparkling clean. The hosts are attentive, sociable and great at having people over. Having breakfast everyday is a must as it was delicious. I would recommend this stay to anyone.
