Really excellent food and service! The sushi bowl was great and the carnitas meat was delicious on a salad.

6/2023: What a sleeper! Was super skeptical of this little converted to-go joint but the carnitas were easily the best I’ve ever had. The meat was so tender it was almost hard to fork, and while not homemade, the pita was absolutely amazing. A few chairs inside and a couple of benches outside let you eat there if you want to ignore the name. Highly recommend!

High quality and delicious ingredients. A great stop after a long hike at long point or the Kaymoor mine site. Service was top notch and the owner really takes pride in cooking people quality and delicious food.

Perfect quick stop on our road trip. Food was fresh and simple, but full flavor. Very flexible with dairy and gluten allergies. I had the sushi bowl. We sat out back and the kids played disc golf. The backyard was a great spot to stretch our legs. Overall fair price for the quality of food (high quality) and a great stop to break our trip up.

Amazing ! My hubby went there in the morning and loved it soo much he made me try it for dinner! Outstanding food and the service and just kind employees were amazing well DEF come back!!!

We were on a road-trip through Fayetteville and stopped here for a quick dinner. Amazing staff and food! They have a frisbee golf practice hole and seating out back which was great on a warm night. We had the jerk pork sandwich and tofu veggie rice bowl, both of which were healthy and delicious. Thank you for a great experience!

Such friendly service and genuinely good people. The food is fresh, flavorful, and healthy. The kind of small business that feels good to go to because you know you're supporting the actual people working there & the local economy, instead of lining the pockets of billionaires who exploit the working class. Not here; I had a lovely time and everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy their work, happy to chat and provide local recommendations.

We were on a road trip and looking for a lighter alternative to the normal fast food options for dinner - SO glad we found this place! I got a jerk chicken sub and my wife had a sushi bowl - both were fresh and delicious. Definitely returning here for a bite whenever we visit nearby New River Gorge.

There's a reason this place has a 5-star average review! We had rice bowls after a long morning of hiking (Pacific with pork for him, jerk with chicken for me). It absolutely hit the spot! Food was delicious, staff was friendly and service was super quick. Got some energy bites to go. Would definitely recommend!

A hidden gem. Quality, fresh and original food. We had the sushi bowl and a veggie salad with chicken. The food just made you feel good about eating it. Very small quaint place with limited seating. They very much care about their food and customers. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We were able to speak with the owner who was super happy to share his restaurant. It turns out he and his wife lived near us in the coastal Charleston SC area. You can taste the pride in the food. Great job!! Randy and Suzy Carter Folly Beach SC.

The Take Out is almost unreasonably good. They offer quality ingredients at a completely fair price and food comes out quickly. There's a few indoor and outdoor seats available, but this isn't a large restaurant by any means. The cashier that was there explained the menu and told me their sushi bowl is a top seller. One of the last places I expect to have a fresh sushi bowl that actually tastes good is in the middle of West Virginia, but I went with it and was delightfully surprised. This thing is huge and absolutely worth it. I highly recommend this spot if you want a filling meal of real food that won't make you feel like a grease ball afterwards.

This was our first time coming to The Take Out, but heard how amazing it was from our local family! This is a MUST while in Fayetteville. So delicious, a wide variety of options, huge portions, and such kind/helpful staff! We had a big order and they were so gracious, patient, and had lots of suggestions to make the bowls even more delicious! Stop in! You will not regret it!
