Certainly the best lake trails in the area. Nothing like running the paved 5.45 mile loop around Lake Fayetteville in the cool morning on a spring or fall day. The sunrise here is always remarkable. The bike riding loop here, closer to 7 miles and mostly dirt trails, is also very nice. Bathrooms are available at Veterans Park and water is also available there and just south of the botanical gardens. Can get pretty busy on the weekends and evenings, but still very nice. Honestly, I haven’t seen very much nature, in terms of animals, here. Somewhat surprising given I get deer in my yard, but I guess there is just enough traffic to keep them largely hidden.

Very nice and serene nature. The lake and nice trails are good for the full family. People Can go for fishing, or trail walking/ running. The Razorback greenway heads to this place if you are into riding bikes. I loved the quiet nature, and will go back again and again.

This place is magical! We had an incredible day with the grandparents. Fishing, pedal boat, enjoying the scenery and quality time together. The boat rental staff was so friendly and helpful and the fish were biting! We got great gear and advice from Hook, Line & Sinker in Bella Vista. This was the perfect lake recommendation for our crew!

I liked the view of others paddle boarding and kayaks.

Well kept trail that goes around the lake. Pretty sights and safe access for the family. Etiquette for bikes, runners, and walkers seems to be well exercised in general. Neat spot in town.

Great walking/running trail! Total distance around lake is 6+ miles. There are both paved and unpaved trails. Free parking next to the Botanical Gardens.

This is a lovely piece of nature on the edge of Fayetteville. It has an amazing trail and you can rent boats or bikes for a good price

The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is due to the Zombies that throw trash down even though trash cans are everywhere. My Unkle said years ago about 20% of the people.are ignorant & stupid. I would say in the last few years that % is higher. I do want to thank the county & all it's employees for providing such a wonderful place & setting for us! Please people pick up your dog doo doo, & trash.

The lake view is nice and comfortable. The trail near the lake is a good one for bicycling.
